Lowe's Home Improvement - Summersville, WV

Very sorry customer appreciation prices to high for quality. Cashier couldn’t operate station with many people waiting while other employees stood around and offered no assistance. I had to go back and take pictures of shelf tags because items didn’t have tags on cinder blocks. Very sad to pay such high prices and terrible service wish Home Depot would locate near us.

I always go to this Lowes for my home improvement needs. I had a plumbing issue the other day and Josh was excellent. Knew exactly where what I needed was and also had some outstanding advice. I'm always met with friendly faces ready to help when I wk into this Lowes. Great team!

I found what I needed but had to ask for assistance. The woman who helped me in the tool department was very friendly.

No lumber carts in store, I along with several others had to bring our own cart in from parking lot. Needed several different 2x4 items and osb. None of the 2x4 bunks were priced, couldn’t scan barcode to get price because inc is faded into wood. No employees present to help with pricing. Give up and left, will go somewhere else

I shop here all of the time for lumber, tools, or materials needed yard projects. The staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is easy to find even by myself. The parking lot is wide open, so there's plenty parking and it's to get a load of lumber to your truck and not have to worry about tight spaces. They even have an air pump near the loading area, incase you need to pump your tires.

If I could give a negative star I would. Customer service is AWFUL. Do you want paint? Get ready to wait for it, even when there is no one in line. Do not buy appliances here either, I have bought 3 at different times and 2 had dents in them-when trying to get the problem resolved the service in the store was very unprofessional. I have moved my lumber purchases to the nearby lumber yard and will purchase anything else through delivery from other retailers. The motivation and moral in this store is very lacking-thus the probable reason for the dents in appliances. I feel sorry for the couple that work there that actually work. I have went into this store many, many times and almost always the front end people are hiding behind the back wall-where you can see them-instead of being out front helping customers and hopefully checking for loss. Many times I have went looking for assistance and reps are in aisles on their phones, then when asked for help they tell you they have to call someone else. The few that work get worked to death because the rest have no clue.

Was helped by Jeremy today in the lumber and decking area. He was patient and helpful in answering all my questions on Trex composite decking and even made some recommendations after explaining what I wanted. Customer service and knowledge of products were both on point, thanks.

My visit to Lowe's was excellent. The staff were knowledgeable and eager to help, the store was clean and well-organized, and the wide selection of products made finding what I needed easy. The prices were reasonable, making it a great place for home improvement shopping. Highly recommend!

The Summersville Lowe's has the worst help and customer service I have ever encountered. If there was any place to buy materials I would never go to Lowe's. Know one will help you and when you chase one down they act as if you're infringing upon there time. Customer service rates a zero in my book

Went in to see about a couple of bathroom fixtures my husband & I had ordered. They were in & waiting for pick-up. While there, I picked out some paint color samples & looked at some flooring sample displays. While there, several different people offered assistance. First time EVER @ a Lowe's store! Usually, if you WANT/NEED HELP, there's NO ONE TO BE FOUND. This should be the NORM, NOT a SHOCK! Just sayin'...

Logan in the paint department helped us tremendously! He does a great job at explaining what paint will be best. He has great customer service! Truly appreciate his customer care!

We ordered a hot water heater online and needed delivery and installation. My husband called after the online order to confirm installation and was assured it would be installed. At the time of delivery we received a call that the driver couldn't find our home and the delivery was being pushed back until the evening. Shortly after, we received another call stating the driver was in the area but there would be no installation because he was a door dash driver. After he dragged the new water heater up the steps it was left in the doorway. I called the store again and was put on hold for more than 30 minutes and finally had to hang up and call back. When I finally spoke to a manager I was informed that they could have an installer call us to make an appointment. Not sure what the mix up is within the store but we were absolutely misinformed and would have made a different choice had we known the issue wouldn't be fixed right away. Super disappointed in this experience.

We’re currently getting our bathroom redone and Jason Lay helped us the entire time. He shopped with us to find exactly what we wanted and needed, he gave us good opinions and overall was extremely nice about everything. He definitely deserves a raise!

Bought some building materials for a friend and they gave me one hell of a discount.. Can't say enough good things..

Staff clearly didn't know where things were. Ended up walking in circles. Asked multiple employees for assistance finding our items to be told we could diy it
If I wanted to build it myself I didn't need instructions.
I'll avoid this store until they get it together. I'm guessing I'll be waiting awhile.

Only way to checkout is with self check out, which BTW had a staff member standing there.
I DO NOT WORK HERE, staff at least one register.

Went back again. Bunch of employees starring at you to come check your own items out. Only pro checkout open!

No excuse they can apologize on reviews but don't change policy. Lots of local stores need business.

High prices as with bout everywhere. Wife got shorted some lumber on a delivery but and when she called back to tell the lumber department they got hateful and very unprofessional with the complaint. We made an appearance at the store and behaviors changed and someone finally straightened out the problem and helped us out and problem got resolved.

They are trying to sale hard topping mix cement. Until they get in new topping mix I will not be buying anything from them. I manufacture concrete lawn ornaments ( bird bath ,statuary and stepping stones).

Things out of stock...picked up complete shower kit, had to return 2 out of 3 pieces, broken pan & walls..lady at customer service very rude, not helpful..went to pro desk & got better help. Had to then drive to Lewisburg to pick up needed section. Summersville customer service didnt offer any help or really any concern for our situation. They are not looking out for the customer. Very disappointed. Shameful Lowes..
Had to go to Lowes today for supplies.. met Josh in plumbing.. AWESOME young man. Definitely gave Lowes a huge bump up with customer service. He is about the customer. KUDOS JOSH..
