Love Lowe’s however I did not like the customer service I experienced today at the new location in Maricopa. I went in to get a sample of some white paint as I need a small amount for a touch up. Samples are only in flat so I asked if I could pay for semi gloss which is what I needed and was told no can’t do that. They pointed to the pre filled samples and I said yes can you just mix up a sample amount with semi gloss all the guy said was no they can’t. No explanation just no, and waited there to see my reaction. It wasn’t until a lady who I’m assuming was a manager understood my confusion and explained that the mixing machine has preset functions to choose quart and gallon so it has no way of mixing the correct amount for the sample. Ok finally something that makes sense, if this was explained in the way that didn’t make me feel like I was just being told “No can’t do that” I would have felt differently. Lowe’s as a company needs to look into offering a smaller amount of paint for touch up reasons. Even if it’s a bit more money it would be worth it. Would have been really great today if that had been an option as I would not have been left with a sour taste for my new Lowe’s.

Went yesterday, for the pre-grand opening, we were very impressed! The employees were very polite and helpful and the store layout was great. Can't wait to go back when we have more time.
