I've been to many Lowe's stores and most of them you wind up with the same experience where there is no customer service to speak of. This store, it took me only a couple of minutes to find someone to assist me with measuring and cutting some wire. He was quick helpful and knowledgeable

Our dishwasher went out the week of Thanksgiving. I ordered one online on Thanksgiving day to take advantage of Black Friday specials. The estimated arrival date was about a week away. It was not ideal, but I accepted it. The day before it was suppose to arrive, we got a call saying the truck had broken down and it would be on the truck the following day. The next day they called again saying it once again was not on the truck. After 11 days, it finally arrived (at 7am and without a phone call this time). We did not opt for installation so it was left on our porch so we could unbox it and bring it in when ready to install. A few hours later when we were ready to bring it in, we unwrapped it and removed the top cardboard to find the top right corner (that includes the control panel) was completely busted like it had been dropped on it. We called Lowes to let them know and were told it would be a MONTH before we could get another one and the busted one would need to sit on our porch until the new one arrived as they would pick it up it at the same time they dropped off the new one. Needless to say we told them to just cancel the order and come pick up the busted one as soon as possible. The hassle was not worth the Black Friday savings. We paid more plus drove an hour away to pick it up at a Best Buy instead. Lesson learned to never attempt to order an appliance through Lowes. If it's not sitting on their shelf, don't bother.

Waited for someone to assist us in the paint department. Hit the button for the area and even asked an associate to get us help. No one ever showed up in the 30 minutes we waited. Very poor service. Going back to Home Depot and local Do it Best in town. I know this will fall of deaf ears and no one will care especially Lowes. However telling the truth helps. Final statement; poor customer service to say the least.

Drove an hour and 15 min to pick up an electronic lock. Got home and the photos below show how it not only had been used before but was broken. The screws were laying all over the box and some missing. Now my only option is to drive and 1 hour and 15 min each way to return it and get another one.. called and the store manager was completely useless.

Vernon in cabinets is an expert. James in appliances is excellent and Chris, the store manager is the man. All around great experience buying kitchen cabinets and new appliances. This is our go to Lowe’s now.

We had a fantastic experience here designing and purchasing a renovated master bath. We worked with Vernon Hughes in the kitchen/ bath design department. We had worked with Vernon before, and sought him out for this major job. Vernon was fabulous! Very knowledgeable, professional and patient, and made great suggestions in the design process. The materials were delivered as promised, and were perfect and exactly what was ordered. Highly recommend!
As an aside, this Woodstock store is by far the best Lowes I have ever been to. Always clean, always stocked, and the employees here, from walking-in through checking out, are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Highly recommend!

Love Lowes and their dedication to active duty and retired military. Went to make a purchase and while looking an employee asked if she could help. After explaining what I was looking for she took me to the clearance area and saved me at least $50.00. Absolutely made my day....

Lowes has really improved their customer service. I had several items to buy. The paint department is awesome! The polite, experienced sales person was so helpful. When asking someone where something is located, the staff not only pointed the way they walked me over. I needed drainage rocks. I simply picked out what I wanted, paid at the front, and then pulled around for the kind employee to load them. A great experience many times over at several Lowes stores. I hope they keep their experienced sales folks in the various departments. Without them, I would have been frustrated and likely went elsewhere.

Becky May at the Woodstock, Virginia Lowe's, went out of her way to help me yesterday find items that I needed to seal my asphalt driveway. She was working at a different part of the store and could have told me that she was already busy. She took the time to make sure that I had the proper items to do the job. She didn't have to help, but she was patient with me and didn't rush me. She was very pleasant throughout our encounter. She deserves a raise. Decided to do online check-in and curbside pickup. After arriving and checking in, waited for 30 minutes before finally going in to see when it would be delivered to my truck. Was told that it was already picked up... then told it wasn't and that they would be right out with it. Ugh... hasn't gotten any better.

I have never seen anything like it. I could swear that there are more employees than people shopping, but yet you have to find someone to help you. I guess I am just spoiled from HD. They are just always asking if you need help. I went to the counter and 2 employees just looked up like I should be just standing there. I wanted to say no I don't want anything I just thought I would stand here looking at you two . So after 3 employees and still no help. Finally we just got a cart and checked ourselves out. I guess customer service is long gone, replaced by what you get today. I really want a HD I'd never be here ever . Unbelievable stopped to look at my phone and some employee came up to the truck and wanted me to move because I was over next to the mulch. He asked if I could move because he had customers coming in. I have NEVER SEEN THIS PLACE THAT BUSY !!! PLUS If someone pulled up behind me I would have moved. This place should have a negative -3 !!! Honestly I wish they would put in a Home Depot instead of the crap !!!

Any time I have shopped at Lowes they have been extremely helpful and people friendly! I love shopping at Lowes!
I took my young dog into Lowes this afternoon to help work on her over exuberant love for any and all and after working with her awhile allowed her to finally say hi to some of the staff who gave back as much love as she gave. She was thrilled to have gone shopping in such a dog friendly store/staff!! Thanks a bunch Lowes!!

October 2023. Was in today and needed 5. heavy bags of River Rock and Nathaniel in the garden area took me to the area and even loaded my cart for me. Then he said he'd follow me to my truck and there he loaded them in the back for me. No doubt the old man look and limp made him for sorry for me. But I appreciated how polite he was and how helpful. May-2023: Hit or miss in some cases. Jeff in paint is an excellent help in his department and there is a lady at the return desk who goes out of her way to help out and I am sorry I do not know her name. (Yet) Three times I've been in here in the time frame around 8am in the last month.
Once I picked up one item and there was a line at the one open register and the self serve were closed. I waited and made the purchase. The 2nd time I again had one little item. Same thing. One open register had two or three contractors loaded up and no self serve was open. Set the item down and left. Today the exact same thing.
One small thing and no self serve but the one lane was crowded. I said something to another employee and they hoped more employees would be in by 9 to help. Come on Lowes. Do better. Absolutely no excuse only have one open register when having busy contractors in there shopping in the early morning hours........................Seems the level of expertise in Lowes has gone downhill over the years in certain areas as well as the level of service. But one employee has gone out of her way to help me. Helena is her name from the Woodstock Va site. This site is the better one in the area.
