This Lowes has been awesome to deal with. We work a lot with the pro desk for our business and we deal a lot with Nathan. Nathan is the best customer service representative I have ever come across and all my years. My guy deserves a Nobel peace prize. All the employees have been great. But especially him. This location is awesome.

Went in to buy 5 gallons of primer. I went to the counter where the associate was wiping down a paint bucket. Stood there for a few minutes then he acknowledged I was there. All he said with a poor attitude is it's going to be a while! and Went back to the bucket he was cleaning. I looked at a new tool on the counter while I was waiting. He eventually came over and asked what I needed. I asked if he could shake the primer for me. He said since it isn't paint it does not need it. I said ok well that's all I needed I guess. He huffed and puffed back to the bucket he was working on. His badge said his name is John B. It's really disappointing to have such a bad experience. I stopped going to Home Depot for similar situations. Hopefully someone sees this message and addresses the behavior.

I ordered a plant from them and they have been so pleasant. The detail were perfect, the plant is for my zone. And I'm so stoked to get it and plant it. Thank you so much.

My dog loves Lowes, and trust my dog. She even dropped a huge load in the middle of an aisle at the Orange Competitor's, which told me everything.

Needed help at the paint counter which is across from customer service. Pressed it twice and listened to pa announcement for help but no one showed up. None of the five employees visiting in customer service offered any help. Seems like this an ongoing problem at Yakima Lowes after reading previous reviews.

Went to Lowe’s today with the intent of checking out some LVP flooring I intended to purchase and wanted to see in person. I wandered around for a while then saw a sign that said “Need help? Press button.” There was no button. I walked around more and saw another sign, but again there was no button. I spotted an employee and asked for help. I pointed out the help signs and asked why there were no buttons. He ignored this and said “Can I help you ma’am?’ I asked again about the buttons and he said “MA’AM CAN I HELP YOU?” in a loud voice. I told him not if he was going to be rude, and walked away. He called after me “The button is broken!” Clearly it gave him more satisfaction to ignore my frustration than to say, sorry the buttons don’t work, at the beginning of the conversation. I guess the takeaway here is that Lowe’s employees are extremely delicate and will become angry at any hint of dissatisfaction. I’ll get my flooring and other products elsewhere.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
