This is the worst Lowes Ive ever been in. I've walked out empty handed more than once after searching for a lumber cart. Baskets for small parts?? Maybe I've missed those. I get the checkers are busy and in place but, in the isles there is literally one person who is all over the store helping customers, the rest are hiding apparently. What is it with this town? Maybe a more fitting name is slackerville. You think in light of these latest numerous negative reviews somebody would step it up. D'ville needs a Mernards of H/D for competition.

We hired Lowes to install a new roof and they chose RCB Roofing. $10k, we're going on 3 months and the project is still not completed. We went through Lowes trusting they knew and worked with respectable companies but we've learned this is not true. We've been patient, kind, understanding to all the texts, calls and emails to the roofing company that have gone mostly unresponsive. But being kind has now led to our foundation cracking.
After the installment was completed a neighbor said the sales man on the job from RCB made sexual advances so that was fun to deal with when I returned home from work.
We made a complaint to Lowes about the roof not being completed and we did receive a phone call from RCB that someone would be out today. However, It is 6pm already with no responses to our texts or calls.
Monday we will be hiring an attorney - we are not going to be taken advantage of nor can we afford to be. My husband is fighting cancer and I am trying to keep water out of the house. if you go through Lowes to have a project done, ask who they will be using before you hire and do all your research. Lowes is just winging to get their cut of the pie too. At the end of the day - Lowes did not have our best interest in mind.

What is the use in having a website if it’s NEVER accurate? The website has costed our crew several days of work on multiple occasions! I get online and check the availability of a tool that we need (because they break so frequently) to finish a job! The app says 4 available and you get to the store to purchase said tool and they are no where to be found! WTH! ‍♀️ I have tried to call ahead to see if an employee can put their hands on it to ensure it is in stock, but you can’t even get anyone to answer the phone or your left on hold until someone hangs up on you! It’s ridiculous! I know Lowe’s isn’t responsible for the durability of the tools they sale, but the items they make today isn’t worth spending money on but you don’t have a choice! It’s a shame that the contractor/construction crews don’t have a better selection of durable tools!

I'm just wondering why the past 2 days my fiance has been ther and bought 30 bags of concrete each time. So in two days we bought SIXTY bags of concrete from this store. Did not one person who works there ever offer to help him load it. THEN my mom recently bought an expensive electric mower from there. She's 65. Was she asked if she needed help putting it in her vehicle. Nope. I've come in with my 2 small kids before and pushed out bags and bags of gravel. Ever asked if someone could at least push the big heavy cart to my car for me while I try to get two kids safely through the parking lot? NOPE.

Oh, my fiance said a guy was there this evening with a broken arm, in a sling, and no help was offered to him either!

I came to my local Lowe's today to buy some lumber and was unable to find a cart that was usable because of the numerous carts with product that I assume needed to be stock sitting on them. I walked around the whole store and most of the parking lot and when I attempted to ask an associate for assistance they told me the cart they were pushing was for someone else. Although my only alternative is to drive an hour away to go to home depot, at least I know the customer service there will be better and it will be worth my time to go. If you're reading this review, save yourself some time and do the same

I was trying to get an issue with a delivery that was 2 days behind sorted out. The woman on the phone needed to have very simple information repeated to her multiple times, didn't tell me she was putting me on hold, she repeatedly spoke over me and after I asked to verify the phone number on the order because that was apparently the issue, she hung up on me. I was frustrated, but I never once called her names or cursed so there was no reason for her to disconnect the phone call like that. I've done customer service myself for the better part of 16 years and I would never treat a customer like I was. Not helpful at all

Bought a washer and dryer from this store and purchased a 5 year warranty plan. Had an appointment set up with Lowe’s contract appliance company for 3/12 from 12-5pm. A lady from Elite appliance repair called and change the appointment to 4-6 on 3/12. They never called again or showed up. My wife took off from work and and lost work time to be there and this is how we were treated. Completely unacceptable! Do not buy one of these plans or purchase from this store.

General contractor, I frequent all of the Lowe's in central KY and northern Tennessee and this Lowe's is the worst by leaps and bounds. Never a cart in store, literally never. 10 do nothing employees at pro desk that literally don't want to help do anything. Go in today and just need 2 sheets 1/2" drywall and 2 2x6x8. Nothing is labeled, nothing is in the right place so who knows what the price is. No 1/2"x8' drywall at all just mildew resistant boards at twice the price (been this way for months now),what should have been 2x6x8 was actually precut 2x6 studs. $50 for 4 items I never wanted. I used to spend 6 figures a year with Lowe's but the fact is this, if you want to look like a moron that doesn't have their crap together, go with Lowe's. If you want to look like a serious contractor go anywhere else. Personally I blame Danvilles garbage work pool and easily the worst GM in history, I've never had any luck with this area either..... This is everytime you go here. Every freaking time

Warning to delivery truck drivers. You are not a priority. They will find every excuse not to unload you. They will communicate and tell you they are working on it and move you from one side of the building to the other. And Don’t expect detention pay. Me and 3 other drivers lost a pay check today due to their poor management. If the transportation industry wasn’t so saturated, Lowe’s would find out really fast how to treat the people who keep their business running. This scenario happens all the time and it must stop. Someone from corporate should take a LONG hard look at this location and fix it.

Went in with expectations of applying for a credit card and purchasing a dishwasher. I spoke with a man named Bill in the appliance desk who helped me sign up for the card. I inquired about picking up the dishwasher that day as I had the means and planned on taking home a dishwasher. Bill informed me that it would actually take longer to pick it up in person; about a week and a half, as the washer was in a warehouse off site and that delivery would be faster. He said specifically that it would be delivered next day and specified that was the fastest option. I thought it was great and signed off on the card and dishwasher. Next day I’m waiting for a call about the delivery and heard nothing. I look on the app and see estimated delivery time was … a week and half. I then call customer service where they confirm it will be delivered on that day. I feel lied too, that he only said that to convince me to sign off on the card and the dishwasher. Had my expectations been set right from the beginning about delivery also taking a week and a half I would have been disappointed but understanding about delivery time. But instead I was told something that wasn’t true and am now thinking about cancelling my order and going somewhere else to get a dishwasher sooner.

We had a great experience with Justin at the Danville, KY Lowes store! We were looking for vacuum bags for our Dewalt shop vac. Their were no bags on the shelf to fit our vac in the Dewalt shop vacs. Justin went above and beyond to find us a vacuum bag made by shop vac to make sure it would fit our Dewalt shop vacuum. He was very friendly and we really enjoyed talking with him! I purchased a dishwasher online and was given a delivery date of 7 days. On the day of delivery, I received a phone call that the dishwasher was mislabeled and sent to the wrong distribution center and they were going to have to track it down. “I will call you tomorrow with an update,” the nice man said. He didn’t call. I have now called a few times this week to get an update on my missing appliance and the team at Lowe’s cannot find it. That ever elusive GE appliance is hiding somewhere here in the US and is successfully thwarting all efforts of the Lowe’s detective team. But don’t worry, I am not letting the dishes pile up. I am hand scrubbing every last one until one day (hopefully this year) I will have the assistance of the shiny new 24 inch GE Dry Boost energy star dishwasher.

This is the worst location in the entire company. Here are some pictures of the fence I ordered 7 weeks ago. Finally delivered part of the 2 days ago.....so it could sit out in the rain for a week. I still don't have all the pieces and NO ONE at the store wants to accept responsibility or actually do anything about it. Lowes customer service is uninterested in helping. If you can,make your purchase literally anywhere else.

Incorrect items in location listed for items I was looking for. Could not find an associate so asked cashier to call someone. Waited 25 minutes and no one came. Had to call the store on the phone to get someone to come help. Associate who came had no concept of what soffit and fascia even were and had to get a manager. They searched realized they were out of stock for fascia even though website said they had 34. Overall wasted nearly a hour of my time. This is the second time I’ve had something like this happen at this store and had to leave empty handed despite their website saying it was in stock. Their inventory is completely disorganized and even the employees and managers have no idea what they have on hand or where it is. Never going back.

I don't understand why Lowe's gives anyone only 48 hours to return an in store Axis 750 UTV..I recently bought one and it had problems and I was told that I only had 48 hrs to return it after calling the Danville store so I immediately returned it so that I wouldn't be stuck with something so expensive..If they would give at least give 30 day's to return an UTV then I might have kept it and figured out how to fix it and I put the purchase on my Lowe's card...They give people 30 day's for lawnmowers so why not utv

This is,by far, the BEST Lowe's ever. Each time we go there I say those are the friendliest, most helpful employees. I used to hate to go to Lowe's and let my husband go alone, now I go with him and it's a pleasant experience!

Do not shop at Lowe’s in Danville KY! Bought 4 appliances. My range broke the first night. Called and got the run around. Told me to call ge. They told me to call Lowe’s. This went on for 3 weeks. Finally got them to come get it and then they tell me they can’t order me a new one until the old one gets processed back in. I call 2 days later to check on my order. They don’t even have it in the system. Said it was returned to Richmond!’ I’d have to call them! Customer Service is a joke!’

Last week we had $1700 worth of lumber delivered except 20 sheets of plywood we had ordered. We then realized 2 sheets of 3/4 in plywood were stuck together. I called delivery and she said the plywood would be on the rest of our order. The remaining items are being delivered but the replacement plywood is not. I have called 3 times today to get this straightened out I was transferred to delivery twice, no answer. The third time I asked for a manager. The phone rang for 13 minutes and then hung up. This is not the first problem I have had with delivery. We have spent thousands of dollars in the last 3 months and have never been happy with the service or delivery. Unfortunately we don't have any other options or I wouldn't spend another dime at your store.

Nikki the manager for the appliance section was literally the BEST we’ve ever worked with. We accidentally bought a wrong oven and it got sent to our house before an appraiser came. Stressed out we came back to find out what happened. She walked us through everything and was able to get the right oven we needed in time a day before the appraiser came to the house. She checked in on us next day to make sure delivery went well and even called back the following week to make sure nothing was wrong with the oven. Nikki you went above and beyond- you are awesome and we’ll keep coming back to this Lowes because of you!

We were at Lowe's this evening buying lumber. I had to ask for assistance to get lumber from high up and shelf was empty but some in back. We had $700 worth of lumber and only one guy was helping people. Everyone else running around and talking. I asked for help loading as I am 66 years old and one guy said he was going on break, another had to get a drink of water so I ended up helping load 16 ft boards and 4x4's. Other people were waiting to be loaded too. This is horrible customer service and we went last week too spent $500 and same thing no help! Do you call this customer service? The cashier was too worried about getting off in 4 minutes to get us any help. When I returned 2 lumber carts to the inside I told the young man he should be ashamed not helping when I had asked for help and he informed me he just got back although he was sitting in chair at desk doing nothing. Where is their manager? This is the worst service I have ever received. I will be calling the customer care number in the morning since they close at 7pm. These young kids need to train on customer service skills. Thank you.

Lowe's is a great store, I always get what I need at Lowe's, I would like to see a little more customer care at Lowe's, I've wondered around looking for help in the past, but my last few visits have been like smooth sailing. I also had to return a item and that went smoothly. overall the store is business oriented.

I have had nothing but issues over the years at the Danville location. I spent over an hour driving today and about 30 minutes in the store after requesting a large amount of a product which there were hundreds of. After requesting help again and not getting any I left. It’s not Lowes in general just this location. Also am I the only one who hates that there isn’t a person to check you out now 1 it takes away jobs and 2 you don’t receive a discount for discount for saving them money.

If you need a cart for wood you better find one in the parking lot because you will not find one inside
If you need help loading wood forget it

Bought an electronic lock and I wanted it and one I'd bought before re-keyed to match. NOPE, not if I didn't have it done the day I bought the lock! This would be a great building and location for a hardware store. I even offered to pay for the re-keying...NOPE, not possible. If you want a FULL service hardware store, try Ace Hardware. They don't sell lumber but they sure bend over backwards trying to help customers.
