Lowe's Home Improvement - Morehead, KY

This is my favorite store in Morehead. Staff is great, they’re not up in your business but around if you need it. Knowledgeable associates, great managers, and great prices. Yeah you can probably get most of it cheaper at Walmart, but at least you won’t run into everyone you’ve ever met. Highly recommend.

Our front load washer went out. Drove 50 minutes to the Lowe's Morehead after working 11.5 hour shift to buy a washer to find out Lowe's had no washers in stock. If you no longer stock appliances you should put that on your website. I have always bought my appliances there but I will not be back. Thanks for nothing Lowe's.

It's a home improvement store. When did you find somebody they were helpful but they were hard to find. Cost is high because this economy

We come here very often and are often SUPER helpful staff except for today. Immediately when my family and I went to the Customer Service and HALEY R was extremely rude and interruptive in personal conversations with snide remarks. I worked in customer service and understand how a bad day can affect an attitude but there was an extreme lack of professionalism on her part and it truly upsets us because we believe yall have a great team and are very helpful. Her supervisors or management please talk with her because I can promise no one wants to be treated like that. I believe if you see something you should say something. Normally I don’t post on google reviews but I believe some sort of action should be done.

David H in the paint service department gave us excellent service. He shared his secrets and gave us instruction and the tools to get the job done.

Well I work for an electrical company we have spent a good amount of money here but it never fails at self check aka the only checkout available the employees like to hover us and make us count stuff in our cart and act like we stealing even though I make and bring a list every time to make sure I get what I need for my job that day.

Terrible customer service and apparently no one actually works here. Went to get carpet 2 times, the first time we waited 45 minutes before anyone came after being called on the intercom. Which is ridiculous. The second time we waited 45 minutes had them call on the intercom 4 times only one worker in the store and she said she couldn’t help. As we were about to leave the girl working at customer service said if we waited another 30 minutes the guy that can help us would be back from lunch. Wow. We will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

Lowes is the only hardware store open in our town on Sundays so if we need anything, that is where we have to shop. Most of my experiences with Lowe’s have been positive but it seems their Sunday staff is either incompetent or just don’t care. The customer service is terrible on Sundays as is their lack of communication. We waited 45 minutes for someone to cut one piece of pegboard after having “Austin “ paged twice, still no response. When I called the service center to ask for a manager, their reply was that one was not available. They did ask if I wanted to talk to someone about the problem I said yes and they put me on hold, I was cut off twice. I them asked the girl at the checkout ( in wood) if Austin was available, she said “he’s around here somewhere “. No offer to call or page him, she just put her head down and looked at her phone. I guess this is the price we pay to save a few Pennie’s when the big box stores run the local businesses out of business,

Good service from sales person when refrigerator arrived had scratches and dents that didn't happen at delivery told store associate about it and showed pictures said someone would call me haven't called yet

I really don't know what to say. About Lowe's, they do have just about everything you're looking for problem. He is, it is not adequately signed to where you can find simple things like screws and stuff like that and is very discouraging. When you walk in and you have 3 Or 4 people on the counter and no 1's there plus very seldom. Can you find a associate that is willing to Stop and say hi, SiR from the lows. May I help you? You have to literally stop them and ask them. And at times you come across those that do not seem like that. They want to help you. And then you have some that are very helpful. But I worked at Lowe's for 18 months as a plumbing pro. And it is my opinion and it is the way we were trained that you greeted every customer and asked them if there was something that you could help them with. This store does not offer that. You have to literally find an associate. That works the area just to get help. Their response time on their buzzer. Bell is not good. So this store, in my opinion could stand some more back to basic customer relations.

They have good prices on building metural and they don't mind to set aside what there doing to help a person out grate employees

Ran across a guy named Daniel in plumbing, he was mega kind and super helpful. 10/10 would see him again for help.

Dear Lowes, it's been two years since my original review. Sadly, the Morehead Lowes has not improved. Went in today to look for glue. I am really happy to hear that the gentleman employee is excited to share with other on the clock employees that his daughter will graduate in 7 weeks but it really didn't help me find the product I needed. I asked you. You ignored me. Her graduation is in 8 weeks. Two minutes of your time, or your coworkers' time, would not have stopped that and might have gone a long way to a positive review . I know that management won't respond
You can rarely find an employee, but you can always find 3 or more standing around gossiping. I ended up loading my topsoil myself. I am 65. Good thing I didn't get hurt, or i would be 65 and rich from the lawsuit I would file. It won't let me leave zero stars

Staff very willing to help, even if it takes a while. They'll try to understand exactly what you want to do so they can best advise you. Prices are sometimes even cheaper than Amazon.
