I bought a $3,200 John Deere tractor (just before the end of 2024) and they assured me that they will send me a new tractor from their "warehouse" and not the floor model that was outside. When we just recently took the cover off the engine it was major rusted. They are not taking responsibility that they either lied or made a mistake and sent me degraded product that was outside which has major rust. The local St Augustine management people were cold and accusing. How Lowe can they go???
The contact number customer service doesn't seem to care that the store manager lied to me about the tractor - it is Lowes' policy to lie to protect their profits.
I replied to their reply and never heard back.
I will not be shopping at Lowe's anymore!

Lowe's in st.augustine has to have the best workers of any of their stores. They are so helpful and friendly, happy to engage in advice for projects and share their expertise. A joy to shop here

At the St. Augustine Lowe's, Customer Service Katie facilitated the assistance of Ava for help with front door lock issues. Ava took the time, and with her expertise it was brief, to show how to set my key into a new lock set. Very impressive customer service by both Katie and Ava. Thank you so much.

Terrible customer service from the management.
I would give them a zero if possible. Both the store mangers and and her assistant managers.
fellow up Lowes sent me a 1800 number to call, after making this pointless phone call the service, if possible, went down. why bother to give a number to only make things worse.

Most associates in this store are trying to sell you a water softener or solar panels instead of actually being able to help with your in store purchase. Their inventory numbers seem to always be inaccurate. They wonder why people shop online instead. I only shop in store in these emergency type situations. Headed to Home Depot!

On 4/25/25 I happened to be at Lowe 's and noticed a table with orchids on sale from.$20.98 to $14.98 so I picked one up for a gift for a friend.
A few days later while filing the receipt I noticed I was charged $29.98 so on 4/30/25 I took the receipt back for a refund. Did I get a refund?

NOPE - it seems that the item number on the receipt did not Match a sale item. So the refund was refused. I asked for a store manager and she and I walked over to the sales table- still clearly marked as a sale.
She pointed out that the orchids on sale had a little tag that said $20.98. I knew that because I had glanced at various tags in choosing the color I wanted. I had every confidence that they were all $20.98.

NOPE - THE STORE HAD PUT $29.98 orchids in with the $20.98. I pointed out to the floor manager that this was blatant DECEPTIVE MARKET. She could give s hoot!

WELL, GOODBYE LOWE'S AND HELLO HONE DEPOT CLOSE BY - I hope they are more honest and fair than LOWE'S St AUG US 1 South!

No person to check you out, only machines. I tried four times to get two items while employees stood around talking. Good bye Lowes hello Home Depot.

Received a response from Lowes. They requested I call them on their 800 to follow up with my review. Called the number which was an overseas call center that had no idea what I was talking about? Wow Lowe’s that’s two for two!

I recently visited Lowe's Home Improvement, and unfortunately, it was not a positive experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an overwhelming sense of darkness—quite literally. The lighting in the store was so dim that it felt almost depressing. It was hard to browse and really enjoy the store's offerings when it felt like walking in a gloomy cave. The atmosphere really detracted from the shopping experience, making it difficult to focus on the products themselves.

To make matters worse, the customer service was lacking. Despite walking through several aisles and passing numerous employees, not a single person offered to help. I walked around for quite a while, trying to find someone to answer a few basic questions, but no one seemed interested in providing assistance. I understand that it can get busy, but the complete lack of engagement was frustrating.

For a store that prides itself on being a home improvement destination, I expected better service and a more welcoming atmosphere. The low lighting made it hard to get a good look at many of the items, and the absence of staff left me feeling like Lowe's just didn’t value my time. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience, and I left without purchasing anything. I hope they can improve both the ambiance and customer service in the future.

Look, nobody can predict material quality but...
the Lowe's employees that helped me tonight all worked together even though I had to return a third of the preordered product on sight. They all worked together with only 30 minutes to close. Great team, great service.

I recommend higher wages with actual benefits to keep the good people of our country well cared for; so Lowe's will staff and keep the type of employees that helped me tonight.

I just wish you had more warehouse space to correctly store and cure your specialty wood, especially pressure-treated. Rushing product delivery only wastes your customers' time and your precious employees' time as well.

Russell helped me and went above and beyond with helping me with tool boxes! The one I wanted was sold out and we looked at some in the same price range and he helped look at the width and height and just did an outstanding job! I will definitely be coming back to Lowe’s as a happy and grateful customer!

While the employees on the floor were very helpful and friendly, I did have an encounter with one particular cashier, Maria, that was very unpleasant. Honestly one of the worst retail encounters I have ever had.

I needed a side splash for a bathroom vanity. The website showed one in stock, but when I went to find this item I found it outside of its box and scratched. Mark in flooring helped me to confirm that it was the correct item, and agreed that since it was on the shelf, damaged, that a 40% discount would be fair.

I went to check out with Maria and mistakenly told her that Mark was in the plumbing department. I had asked if she would like for me to retrieve him, and she very quickly told me "I don't need you to do anything". She was very short with me and seemed very annoyed at the whole encounter. When she called over the intercom for Mark in plumbing like I had told her, I realized my mistake. When I pointed out that I was mistaken, she seemed very frustrated at me. When I was ready to pay, I attempted to ask to use my Lowe's pro account, and before I could finish my question she said "what do you want me to do now?" In a very dismissive tone.

Encounters like this are a strong reminder of why I no longer shop at Lowe's. If you see Maria in a checkout line, do yourself a favor and go to self checkout

Very helpful staff. Very very good at online shop / store pickup. Good pricing, especially if you get the 5% off with their card. Fixed their undersized parking spots in the past year or so - very happy to see. Reason for avg review is today they charged me for an extra TWO 2x4's which I did not purchase. Not worth my time to call and wait on the phone for however long to get the small refund.

Went in for a sill for a shower they were out of stock on the shelf so I asked a guy named Kade apparently he's a manager if I could get some help he said he would get someone. when the someone came about 10 minutes later I asked him what took so long he said he was in the bathroom I asked him if he was he the only one who could have grabbed it he said "no anyone could have grabbed it" i asked him why the other guy didn't he replied with i guess he just didn't want to. Reminding me why I only shop at home depot.

Was in to get some plumbing repair pieces and was able to find the hardware and check out quickly. Wasn't offered help from associates until we were on our way up to the cash register area. Self checkout process is not very easy.

A WOW customer service experience with St. Augustine's manager Matt G. He never interrupted while I ranted about my poor online experience. When I was done, Matt said he'd take care of it. No problems whatsoever. I didn't have to plead or threaten. Without hesitation, Matt said he'd take care of it... and, he has. Thank you.

Horrible company. They refused to replace the BROKEN solar light they shipped me a few months ago because it was a month past the return window. They shipped me a light that was literally a bag full of broken glass. I’m more mad about the hassle of trying to deal with returning one little $15 light, and the unwillingness to help make it right, than I am about the money. I called customer service a few months ago and they wouldn’t replace it, and I finally made it into the store and they still wouldn’t make it right. Then I tried to buy two replacement lights anyway and it said 86 available in store but they weren’t where the app said they were. The guy helping me was really trying to locate them for me but it ended up taking forever and seems like he was on a wild goose chase and I got fed up and left. The older guy helping me went above and beyond though. But over all, this experience was just a reminder to avoid Lowe’s if at all possible in the future.

I'm not happy! I bought a brand new whirlpool dishwasher and had lowes deliver it along with my new fridge, stove and hood. All of my new appliances were delivered by lowes and put in my garage as my kitchen was being remodeled. After have one week my contractor installed my appliances and the dishwasher did not work from the start. It gave an error code right after starting. I called lowes and their return policy is 48 hours! This is a bran new dishwasher that does not work. Lowes told me to call whirlpool for a tech to look into the problem because I can not return or exchange a new dishwasher that doesn't work after 48 hours! This is absolutely frustrating and just wrong! Yes it is under warranty. And I've called a tech at no charge. Now I have to wait 3 weeks for a new part on a bran new freaking dishwasher! Yes I'm upset! I spent almost $4000 on appliances and in my opinion lowes should allow me to exchange this for another one that works! Oh and get this, what they don't tell you...if my contractor would have bought it they could return it and get another one, same day! So because I bought it I have to deal with the hassle of getting repairs and new parts on a new, never used dishwasher! Never again Lowes, never again!

Went to this store 3 times recently. Never have I seen so many employees in a Lowe’s. Problems is that they are all standing in groups talking to each other and unwilling / unable to help customers. Spoke to manager and he could care less and was also condescending. Bye bye, Lowe’s, hello Home Depot!!! Been twice today!

Clean, organized and self checkouts are a plus and my rating was 5 stars last year but I was really disappointed with my experience yesterday. I bought a couple of sprinkler heads for a project at home and ended up not needing them. I knew they were past the 90 day refund policy but I was sure I would receive store credit as I had experienced before. To my dismay, the service desk rep said they no longer offer credit after the 90 days, period. Now if they were used or not current items they still sell I would accept that but not the case here as they could go right back in the bin for sale. This change of policy will now push me back to Home Depot where just last month I received store credit for an opened item returned after the return policy. I've spent thousands at Lowes and Home Depot but it will all be at Home Depot going forward. Customer retention is not the priority at Lowes.

The absolute worst customer service, almost every employees you interact with can’t be bothered, that’s if you can find someone, You will literally stand in the same department for 30 minutes or longer and not be offered help one single time, it's like the employees go out of there way to avoid being helpful. I have walked away from several purchases because you cannot get any assistance here.
