Eddie rescued our daughter who lives in Florida and is a young single girl living on her own for the first time. Her Ford Bronco left her stranded in the middle of the highway at 1:30 AM. She's an Emergency Room Nurse and had just completed a 12 hour shift. She was scared and alone. Thankfully the police responded to her rather quickly and arranged for her vehicle to be towed, but we had no idea who to call for help since we live in Pennsylvania. After searching online for a repair shop my husband came across the excellent reviews for Obi Automotive & RV Repair Service. He decided to call and to his surprise he was able to speak directly with the owner. Eddie went immediately to get our daughter's car out of impound, saving us $100s of dollars in storage fees. He looked at her car the next day, called us to let us know what he thought might be the problem, and with my husband's approval he ordered the parts to complete the repair. Once the car was finished, he emailed us the invoice, allowed us to pay online and has her vehicle ready for pick up today. He only picked up the car up on Saturday morning - it's now Tuesday afternoon. That's fast service! Thank you Eddie for honest, quick and reliable service. Found Obi through google & he immediately helped put new spark plugs & coil! Also, had him fix power steering leak problem & had my 200K transmission work done too! I had my class C RV serviced by Obi, this included truck engine service and generator service. Also had both batteries replaced for the truck and coach. Obi did a rubber roof treatment that's good for five years and they did an amazing job of applying the coating. Thanks Eddie!

Eddie inspected a Class C RV for me as I was doing an out-of-state purchase and I am very satisfied with the work. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. My alternator went out when I was coming through St. Augustine on my way home to New Smyrna Beach. it was already 3:30 and even though I had AAA tow coverage, it would have been after 5 before I could get towed anywhere and I would be stranded out of town for the night. OReilly's provided me Obi's card and told me he offered mobile repair. I called him and texted him a picture of the engine to see where the alternator was located. He confirmed he would be able to complete the repair there. He came right away and even though the alternator was not in stock at OReilley's he called around and located one across town that closed at 5. He came back with the alternator, completed the repair, and got me back on the road home safely. A shout-out to O'Reilly Auto as well! Oh did I mention this was all in the rain? Awesome 5* service from an honest mechanic would recommend to any and everyone.

I had my Lincoln 2012 issues resolved by OBI the propriator
his work and cost was very satisfactory after I had contacted others in that business for a quick resolution. He stayed in constant contact with me from start to finish and I can only say his team likewise were very professional. His father began that business in Jacksonville Fl in1954 he has picked up where his father left off and your in good hands with him.

We had problems with our travel trailer on a visit to Anastasia State Park. We called Obi repair and were amazed at the prompt friendly service. We were thankful for the superb knowledge and the great tips we were given. Highly recommend!

My experience with Edie and his team was top tier . He checked my bearings on my camper wheels , didn’t do anything that didn’t need done and was honest about if it was necessary, Hot water heater, stove and fridge . As a women he could have told me I needed it and I would have just paid it because I didn’t know any better. He cleaned my AC , sent me pics of everything he did . Really paid attention to detail and saw through to any issue. He found some major safety issues with my camper and the sway bar installation done by the previous owner- which I didn’t even have him check but he made sure to correct it and make sure it was right . He went out of his way to make sure everything was set up safely and that I would be able to operate it at ease… making sure to involve me in the process of hooking everything up to make sure there aren’t any setbacks. Customer service was wonderful all around as far as doing any little thing that needed to be done in order to get the job done and done right. He was a fair and honest person to work with . Will definitely call Edie for any future camper needs

Arrived in FL and noticed we had a rear axle seal leak on our 40’ Class A motorhome. Most mobile RV service companies do not work on the chassis or engine of a motorhome, just the inside components. Luckily, we found Obi Automotive & RV Service who came to our rescue! Without their knowledge and expertise, we would not be able to drive the motorhome. They came to our site, pulled the axle, resealed it, then put it all together to perfection. We sat and watched as they meticulously paid attention to all details and answered all our concerns. Needless to say, Obi is now in my contact list for any future car or motorhome problems. Don’t hesitate to give them a call with your automotive needs. Thanks Obi!

Had unexpected emergency, fuel leak into RV generator due to overpressure. Eddie came out promptly and needed three visits to clean up the generator and install a shutoff valve in case the situation ever happened again. I am satisfied with his work.

Needed help for my cousin’s RV. I cannot say enough about Eddie. He went above and beyond my wildest expectations. Rates are reasonable and he communicated every step of the way. It is not easy to negotiate a repair in Florida from South Carolina but Eddie made it work seemlessly.

I blew a cylinder on my jeep Grand Cherokee driving to ST.AUGUSTINE, FLORIDA.JEEP was booked all week and offered me no help.staying at the HILTON HOTEL I shared my problem with the GENERAL MANAGER.HE quickly pulled out his phone and said OBI AUTOMOTIVE will get you in.all the locals know EDDIE OBI..So I called OBI AUTOMOTIVE spoke to the owner EDDIE who offered to pick up the jeep and drop it back off.I drove my jeep to THE OBI SHOP wanting to see the garage for myself.WOW THE OBI garage was neat clean very professional looking.I met the shop Mechanic well spoken easy to understand his description of the auto breakdown.EDDIE OBI does not mark up prices for parts and still only charges 100 per hour for work performed..EDDIE drove me back to the HOTEL and picked me up when the jeep was ready that SAME DAY.it was like he flip a switch and the car drove perfectly again.THANK YOU FOR YOUR HONESTY .I WOULD RECOMMEND OBI AUTOMOTIVE TO EVERYONE.

So far, I've used Obi Automotive probably 3 or 4 times and I've never had to take my vehicle back to him yet, except for new problems. He definitely has an amazing beautiful shop And very professional.

We can not say enough great things about Eddie Obi and Josh. First they are super nice guys. Professional, knowledgeable and hard workers. Eddie knows his stuff. Last year, Eddie came out when our black water valve was leaking and stayed into the dark to make sure it was fixed and had no leaks. This year he came out regarding a slide awning. While he was correcting it. He noticed that our travel trailer's roof needed to be resealed. He brought it to our attention and he said he wanted to make sure we were aware. No pressure to hire him to fix it. But we did and it looks brand new. He showed us before and after pictures. Problems with your RV? EDDIE OBIE IS YOUR GUY.

Honest and reliable! Obi went ABOVE and beyond to help me on a Sunday when other companies turned me away. He had my car repaired and ready by Monday. Did not over charge for parts and his labor cost were very reasonable. He called around to find the best price on parts and honored the lowest quote. 5 star service all around! Very friendly, professional and reasonably priced. I had a busted stabilizer on my motor home and Called Obi automotive. To my surprise he showed up within a few hours and quickly diagnosed the problem. Although he didn’t have a stabilizer to replace my busted one he filled the hydraulic tank and reassured us we could back to Georgia to the dealer. I hope I never have problems again but if I do and I’m close to St Augustine I would not hesitate to call them. Good people

As newer RVers, we had several issues with our RV. Called Obi, he came out the next day and fixed all issues. He also spent time helping us learn how to maintain the RV. Great service!

Our slide-out stopped working. Eddie and his crew came to our campground the same day, after dark. He was able to manually extend the slide-out, and he showed us the part we needed on Amazon. The part (reasonably priced) was delivered Friday, and Eddie's crew installed it Monday. Great guy and crew! He knows his business and doesn't take advantage of people in distress.

Edi is super responsive, works quickly and efficiently! He explains things well and doesn’t try to get you to spend extra money unnecessarily.

Pulled into our campsite and one of our slides would not open. Called Obi. They were there the same day just after lunch. By 5:00, they had opened the slide, had it working temporarily, ordered a replacement motor, and made an appointment to install the new motor when it arrived. Beginning of the week, they installed the new motor and works wonderful. All at 1/3 the price charged by a major camping center to replace a different slide motor on the same trailer.
I recommend Obi very highly.

Thanks Eddie for the first class service and professional repairs on my F150 when I needed it the most. Eddie responded to my call and came to the campground at 8 pm to evaluate repairs needed on my pickup truck. Very responsive service. The pickup was towed to Eddie’s garage (clean and well organized) the morning after. Eddie found time to make the urgent and appropriate repairs so I can drive back safely at home. Very professional! Way to go Eddie!

Very good service took care of my issue with my Truck great oil change at a fair and honest price

1st thing I noticed was how spotless thier auto shop was. Then, it just went uphill from there. The 2 owners are efficient, have an enormous amount of hands on experience [my brother was a 'auto macanic addict', so I know one when I see one--and these guys fit the bill].
They did a very difficult job to perfection, and were done the exact time they said they would be. They paid attention to detail [which reflects professionalism] and were HALF the price of the dealership!!
They are extremely friendly [the kind of guys you'd probably have a beer with at the end of the day...], and they are passionate about thier work--and it shows.
Because it is THIER business, they obviously take pride in the task they are hired to do.
Therefore, in this world that doesn't always put integrity for the customer 1st anymore, it was refreshing to see that it still exists...

My truck overheated and I pulled over in St. Augustine after I got towed to Obi automotive they found the problem replace the part pressure checked the system replenished and test drove the truck. I didn’t get to his place of business till About 5 pm and by 2:00 pm the next it was done at a fair price. Quality work..Would recommend their services professional and courteous.

Eddy came out on short notice. I was quoted upwards of $1,000 to replace the converter. Eddy came out. Took it out, bench tested and determined it was ok. He cleaned up around it fixed all the connections and it’s working great again. His honesty is above reproach. Thank you Eddy.

Met both Eddie and Josh and was very impressed. Great customer service! Both of my cars are older and needed TLC. Very nice gentleman, great shop and fair prices.

I had my car in for a timing sensor replacement and Obi called me and explained how bad my starter looked and since he had to remove it for this service he suggested to replace it to avoid it going out in the near future and having to pay for the labor again..He didn’t have to make the call but he always says he is on your side.

A good friend of mine recommended that I call Eddie Obi if ever needed an excellent, trustworthy mechanic. My in-laws’ SUV started making a strange noise that was getting louder and louder, and I couldn’t figure out what it was, but it didn’t feel safe to drive, so I called Eddie and he set me up with an appointment for the next day. The strange noise turned out to be something that could have turned into a huge, possibly even tragic problem if we hadn’t brought the car to him when we did. Eddie was a real pleasure to do business with. He has gained our trust, future business, and sincere recommendation. We’re very happy to have found our new, honest, mechanic!

RV mobile service. Diagnosed serious diesel problem requiring certified Cummins dealer for repair. No charge by Obi since he couldn't fix it.

Just as we got to our RV spot for a week at the beach, we blew a hydraulic hose on the self-leveling jacks. We contacted Obi Automotive and they had the hose repaired the next day! Very professional and reasonably priced for mobile service. Thank you Obi for your quick response!

Great service. My alternator died on 95 as we were driving thru Florida late Sunday. I called O'Reilly's and they quoted a price for the part and suggested OBI. I called them and even tho they were closed the owner met us at the shop and drove us to a hotel. After the repair the next morning. They picked us up. They didn't over charge even saved me $20 from what I was quoted and were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend. Plus the shop was beautifully painted on the inside!

I was stranded in a classically terrible Florida afternoon rainstorm on a Sunday afternoon with 4 young boys. The auto parts store nearby recommended Obi Automotive and my phone call was answered on the first ring. He offered to take my kids to a hotel nearby without hesitation. His network extends from the tow driver to the auto shop employees to local hotels. I’m very thankful. Switching out the alternator was going to take some time. This team was knowledgeable and efficient! We were back on the road Monday afternoon! Highly recommended!

I can't say enough good things about this company. I had a water leak in the RV (fifth wheel) and I had no idea what was causing it. Obi was recommended by the Koa St Augustine beach and they came out the same day (7pm). The owner Eddie and the technician were professional and courteous when they arrived as scheduled. They promptly located the issue, fixed it and even replaced another part that was not quite up to code. I would highly recommend them to any RV owner in St Augustine. We live in our camper and travel but if I have an issue, and I'm close, I will call Eddie. Kudos and thanks.
