I wish I could give zero stars. Ordered a new washer and dryer...they delivered and installed both...the dryer would not turn on...they left with our working dryer...now we won't get anything for another week. It's an absolute joke how we were treated. I would never get another appliance from Home Depot ever again

We ordered a GE fridge from Home Depot and were told it would be delivered in 3 days. On the delivery day, they gave us a large delivery window, so we rearranged our morning and waited. At 9:18 AM, we received a call saying it would be another hour and a half. We waited until 11:55 AM — no fridge, no follow-up call. When I reached out, they claimed they couldn’t deliver due to “street access,” which is completely false. Our street is wide open with no obstructions.

I contacted the store and the best they could offer was to delay it another 2 days — leaving us without a fridge even longer. This is the third time we’ve had a similar experience. Same excuses, same lack of accountability.

Shame on Home Depot for continuing to operate with such poor logistics and customer service. We will not be shopping here again. You’ve lost a customer for good.

Popped in today with my daughter to pick up some seeds for my herb garden, have to say, everyone we crossed was super nice. The gentleman who checked us out at the garden center was very patient and knowledgeable.

Madelyn in appliances was a excellent employee personable knowledgeable she helped us to buy our dishwasher and our refrigerator today it was actually a pleasure to purchase these items. The manager of the store actually shook out hand after we bought a refrigerator I definitely will be back to the store thank you so much.

St Augustine #6334, 18 July 2025 I called and they had a Toro z Mower for rent. I drove 15 miles, went through the complex verification process and got approved. Went to load mower and it wouldn't start. Employee tried to start it and noticed the ignition switch was broke. Since the switch was broke, I couldn't rent the mower. Yes, I was pissed because Rental dept didn't know mower was inopp. Lack of maintenance and not servicing equipment. Rental dept supervisor displayed lack of knowledge and said "they didn't know". I will not rent from home depot again and will tell others.

The price was great. The employees that we dealt with seemed clueless, they wanted to make a sale but did not care how the product made it to you. I bought a show room refrigerator the manager on at that time had no clue how to get it to the front of store, so he slide it through the entire store breaking the wheels, damaging the store floor and then had no clue how to get in truck. Poor customer service felt like twilight zone. My husband had to use a store dolly to show 5 employees how to load a refrigerator.

If I could leave it at 0 stars I would. I am here to review the store, and the lack of care and help Home depot has as a whole after they took my money. Bought the dryer about a month ago. It never worked. It would not dry. I contacted the store, they said to go to the manufacturer because after 48 hours of delivery I am basically SOL. I contacted LG. They sent out a repair person who had to order parts to come fix my dryer. When he got to my home, the parts he ordered were not the issue. As it turned out, the person that Home Depot sent to install the gas line clogged my dryer with putty. I called Home Depot to explain and the first thing they said was: "contact LG because after 48 hours we can't do anything. so I went to the store to talk to someone. At this point we are at 3 weeks of no dryer and no one owning up to anything. Home Depot then responds with "Yes sir it seems we have to do something so we have schedule an install check for you. You will get a call to confirm the appointment on 7/12/2025. The day before the appointment arrived. it's 4pm and no call. so I decided to check on it myslef. to my surprise, someone at Home Depot cancelled the appointment because APPARENTLY Lg now deemed my unit unsafe and they were going to replace it. That did not happen I called LG on 7/14/2025 and to my suspicion, there was no record of home depot calling LG to request a replacement. I called Home Depot once more to end up with another silly appointment for an LG tech to come fix a random issue with random parts that I have no clue what they are. Is there anyone that can actually help me here? I am at a loss. This post is also going on google because home depot and LG SUCKKKKKKKK and I am contacting Home depot corporate as well. I just want the product I paid to work

Friendly and helpful staff. Well stocked and well maintained shelfs and isles. Most of them are pretty much open all year round except for on Thanksgiving and Christmas day, they are closed. They have a wide variety of items, so expect a large selection of items to choose from. They even offer FREE DIY workshops in their stores: Do-it-yourself, Do-it-herself and they even offer kids workshops too. Their website online also has a ton of valuable information on it as well, other than the variety of in-store items. If you place an order online for stuff to pick up, they will put your items into a locker in the front of the store. You can then pick up your items by entering a code they supply to you, and it doesn't have to be the exact same day you order, they actually give you like a week to come get it!

Let me start off by saying usually the employees at Home Depot are helpful but the jerk I encountered in the garden department yesterday around 4 PM was so unbelievably rude. It took me by great surprise.
My husband and I were trying to load some 16 x 16 walking paver stones into our basket in the garden department on the very last aisle where all the pavers and landscaping stones are located all of a sudden this rude guy followed by somebody in one of those motorized machines came up behind us Grabbed a broken stone and put it in our basket and told us to move on. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing in Hearing. I removed the broken stone that we did not want or pick out so that my husband could pick out a stone without any defects. This guy had the nerve to tell us. They’re all broken. Just take this one and move on. I wish I had thought to get his name so I could call him out publicly

Waited For Someone To Help In The Rental Department. After Waiting Awhile I Went To Grab A Few Things I Needed. When I Returned To The Rental Department I Was Helped And Was A Smooth Exit. 4 Stars Only Because Nobody Could Help Me Or Knew How To Help Since The Rental Employee Wasn't Available. I Will Still Return.

Had a desk and cabinets installed by Home Depot.
We told the salesman we wanted everything finished.
He assured us this would be the case, it was not ,
they installed it with panels that had over 30 drill holes on the inside panel.When I complained I was told this is closet pressed wood and this is how they do the install. I will never use them again, when you see the desk the first thing you see are all the holes.

Lately I have experienced an inprovement with employees eager to help customers with general questions which is very welcoming help to shop at the store.
However custumer service Management needs improvement. Recently I purchased a large package of AA Duracell batteries, opened the package at home and found that many had corroded positive terminals. Drove 20 minutes to the store and requestedvto speak to the manager. Bob Town the Assistant manager agreed with the corrodend terminals and suggested I call or write to Duracell so maybe they give me something, really? I said I am your customer, you buy from them not me, he said I can't help you but I will refund your purchase. I knew that! I wasvexpecting something like " Sorry and thank you for making us aware ofbthis, we will check the rest on the shelves to make sure another customer don't get the same.
Well he left and the lady at the counter couldn't be more appologitic and said "he is terrible and he is one of the managers"
Put yourself on my shoes, in this competitive business next time would you return to Home Depot or visit Lowel's around the corner? Good management is top to bottom and not the other way around!

I purchased an electric Ryobi edger today (April 7, 2025) at the St Augustine location and I would like to express my gratitude to those that helped me purchase the item. It was the only one in stock and at the very top of the shelves which required a forklift. Even though the leaders were in a meeting, the floor personnel were on top of it! Thank you all! :)

Nice clean store with everything for any project you need to start or complete. Plenty of help on the floor to assist or answer questions. Hit the sale today and got a nice blower at $20 off! They never seem to be out of anything at all. The only complaint is that I don’t do self checkout and there is usually only one or two registers open. Nice large parking lot with easy access to US1 or 312. If your local hardware store doesn’t have your item, you can get it here. Home Depot is Veteran friendly with a 10% discount! Florida Man Approved!

Large variety of home improvement merchandise. Most of their employees have worked at jobs that are related to the departments they work in. The employees are very helpful and if you ask them about how to do something they can usually tell you how to do it.

Purchased 3 new appliances and that process was normal and easy...Paid to have the items delivered to our home and that is where it all went sideways. TEMCO the delivery company IS OWNED by Home Depot. They did arrive within the 4 hour window that they provided at 8pm the night before.

Don't be fooled these are NOT professional delivery people they hire, these are bodies that fill positions within a company.

They got the refrigerator into the front door with a dolly, placed the appliance on the floor in an extremely hard manner, pushed the dolly off to the side and proceeded to SPIN the refrigerator, that is only meant to roll backwards and forwards and put very large dents and gouges in our heart pine flooring.

The other 2 appliances were done in an OK manner.

And to top the delivery off they left all the packaging material with us too!

As the industry says all prior experiences can be ruined by the last mile of service, in this case it was obliterated.

Looking forward to the nicely worded canned response from customer service about how they are sorry that they did not meet our expectations, we'll look into this, We appreciate your feedback. This helps us improve your experience in our stores.

On several calls to get a simple window estimate they made me wait on hold for 25 minutes after calling me to set up window install for whole home renovation. After 3 calls and more than an hour of phone calls in total still cannot get an estimate. It is like they do not want to do business at all.

1 call to Lowe's and estimate was done same day. Never a manager available. Hung up on multiple times. Not sure how they stay in business. Call Lowe's. Whole process, 10 minutes, including the transfer from the operator to the window department which I still have not been able to reach at home depot.

I recently visited this Home Depot location, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I had hoped for a smooth and helpful shopping experience, but the staff here was not as accommodating or knowledgeable as the team at the nearby Durbin location.

Upon arrival, I was in search of specific tools and materials for a home improvement project. I went to ask a staff member for assistance, but they appeared uninterested and gave minimal attention to my questions. Unlike my visits to Durbin, where employees are eager to help and go the extra mile to guide me to the right products, here I felt like I was more of an inconvenience. When I was directed to certain aisles, I still struggled to find the exact items I needed and ended up wandering around for much longer than expected.

I also noticed the overall atmosphere was more disorganized compared to the Durbin location. Items weren’t as neatly stocked, and some shelves seemed understocked entirely. The lack of enthusiasm from the employees only added to the frustration. I understand that every store can have off days, but this visit stood in stark contrast to the consistently great service I've experienced elsewhere.

I will likely stick to the Durbin Home Depot going forward, where the staff is more engaged and the shopping experience is much smoother.

Best experience ever! I am a supervisor in a large box franchise, what I experienced with Caroline was A+. She helped my husband and I buy a husky tool bench in December. The first tool bench we were given was damaged so my husband and I picked out another one. Caroine helped us with the sale and with taking it apart so we could fit it in our suv which took a very long time to do because the people who attached the backboard to the bench put the screws in so tight that no one could take it a part. Three of the screws were stripped but Caroline didn't give up! She helped us until the end - two hours later we were on our way home! Thank you Caroline and I hope home office contacts your manager to let you know about this 5 star review on you!!!

When employees see a customer they run the other way! Or make believe they don't hear Yu!

This location seems to be very different than other home Depots The employees go out of their way to greet Yu & try to help Yu locate what you need!
