A month ago, we were shopping for tile to redo our bathroom shower. We were helped by two associates, Hussan and Courtney. They were extremely helpful and even helped us load up our order for us. A big shout out to them for making our shopping a very positive experience.

My wife and I just ordered new carpeting for our 2nd level, which includes a living/media room, bedroom and stairs which go up to the main level. My wife ordered a SPECIFIC style/color and after 2 weeks the installers finally arrived to install it, only to duscover they brought the wrong carpet but told us it was the style she ordered. We spent a lot of time and work emptying out the rooms and timed this whole thing due to out-of-town family coming to visit. We were told if would take another few weeks for them to come back if we opted to return it and have the CORRECT carpet brought back. We also paid $100.00 for furniture removal snd they refused to do the service! My wife was on the phone this morning trying to get compensated for this whole ordeal and she was told there was nothing they would do except give her a menial gift card. It's shameful that Lowe's cares nothing about their customers' satisfaction. Needless to say, we are very upset at this situation and even though my thoughts here won't matter at all, I will say that we will never set foot in a Lowe's again, and we've done business with Lowe's for a very long time. I'm nearly 70 and remember vividly when businesses cared about their customers and did everything possible to satisfy them. This is just awful that Lowe's has no respect for their customers!

I tried calling Lowe’s recently and after getting hung up on I was finally transferred to a very dismissive employee that mentioned he was one of the managers and his name was Matt. While discussing my issue with Matt I was met with a lot of (I don’t know about that). When Matt gave me my “only option” I had to correct him my letting him know your website says the exact opposite. The level of runaround, dismissiveness and unprofessionalism I’ve experienced during this whole process has been nothing short of poor business management. Furthermore, not only has Lowe’s lost me as a customer, but my friends, family, and business will be canceling our lines of credit with Lowe’s as well. Lowe’s prices and product simply aren’t worth the level of unprofessionalism you will certainly be met with at the Owatonna location.

Came in to get some lag bolts. Checked out in the lawn and garden because I had a few plants. The young man checking me out said that the lag bolts I got didn’t come with the washer and nut. I explained yes they do there’s hundreds of 8”, 10” and 12” in the bins with them on there, I can show you or the other man that was just standing there. He then said no I’ve never seen them come like that before. He called for a manager after making me feel like a thief over 4.00. The man that came up was very nice that’s the only good thing that happened. He told him it was right there in the pic of the number I wrote down with the washer and nut. Next time I’ll just go to Ace hardware.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Lowe’s in Owatonna, particularly regarding appliance delivery and installation. I ordered a washer and dryer expecting the process to be straightforward. Unfortunately, it’s been anything but.

First, the delivery was delayed multiple times with little communication. I had to call repeatedly just to get updates, and each time I was given different information. When the delivery finally happened, the crew simply dropped off the units and refused to help with installation—despite this being promised at the time of purchase and included in what I paid for.

I explained that I had selected installation and needed the other one returned but the delivery team said it “wasn’t their job” “I’m not touching the machine” and that I would need to “deal with the store.” When I contacted the store directly, I was met with indifference and blaming a third party service not connected to Lowes directly. This has caused significant delays in our home renovation timeline, as we planned around having functioning appliances.

Adding to the frustration, every attempt to get resolution has been met with a runaround. I’ve spoken to managers, customer service reps, and delivery coordinators, and no one seems willing to take responsibility or help fix the situation. It’s incredibly frustrating to spend a significant amount of money only to be left doing the heavy lifting ourselves—literally.

Lowe’s Owatonna needs to drastically improve its communication, accountability, and follow-through. I expected better from a national retailer. If anyone has recommendations of who to work with in the future please let me know what’s been successful for your home improvements. I did make my purchase with the Lowe’s credit card so I could have a longer return window and I am grateful that I did that because the 48 hour return window appliances really doesn’t give people enough time to test the appliances and then you get stuck with them.

Absolutely terrible customer service.
I ordered appliances and was given a specific delivery date — no one showed up, and not even a courtesy call. I had to chase them down myself, only to be told there’s now a two-week delay. No heads-up, no explanation, just silence until I called. This is just unacceptable and straight-up BS.

I paid to have my new appliances installed. I also paid for the extra five year warranty protection plan. When installers came to my home to install new appliances, they told me they could not use the hose hook ups I already have in my home as it would cancel the warranty on my brand new appliances. This was not disclosed to me by the sales associate! This is important information that should be shared with the customer before paying extra money for warranties installation services, and delivery service. I am highly disappointed and very upset that the warranty is now null and void on my new appliances! The delivery drivers stated this is a common problem that happens very often several times a week. That goes to show that there is dishonesty in the sales team at the Owatonna Lowe’s.

I wanted to give this store one star due to the product not being up to standard, but the customer service given to me by Steve from plumbing was worth three stars. He followed up with me three times by phone to help me the best way ever. The product is still disappointing, but STEVE’S customer service needs to be recognized!

Thank you Steve. No thank you Lowe’s.

I went back to buy another sheet of the plywood (maple) I had already bought. They had none and nobody knew if they would be getting more in. They will however cut plywood for you which gets it into my SUV, so that's a plus. Good Labor Day sale, they need more employees, the ones they have are helpful but stretched thin.

My husband and I have purchased several appliances at the Owatonna location over the past four years and have had them delivered. Paul has wonderful customer service when you buy in house and our online ordering has also been great! Our deliveries have ALWAYS been communicated perfectly and timely. We typically have the same guys drop off and they are nice, quick and efficient. Giving 4 stars because the customer service when checking out in the store has been a bit spotty......some people are great and helpful while others really dont seem to care about their customers at all. We will continue giving this Lowe's location our business!

Owatonna -Karen V. and Roberto were EXTREMELY helpful. With a flooding basement, sore back from hauling water and needing a new shop vacuum-I needed one I could connect a hose to pump directly outside. With their help, we picked the one that could have fittings put on to do what I wanted. It was WONDERFUL having their help to problem solve and get home to continue drying out the basement. Thank you ❤️

Horrible service at this store. Multiple incidents in the past two years. Today, Zac Carlson was very condescending and rude regarding a product I purchased with a warranty.

Even though I have purchased the warranty the store and Lowe’s warranty provider state they will not cover the product or their warranty they sold me.

I tested by using the BRIGHT LED on my phone. When i got outside, then i looked at glare and reflexions... they were dim, and no trace of the image after i looked away.

6 people.. 6 PEOPLE STANDING AROUND. while my self checkout indicator is Red. And not a soul comes to help me. This is the norm for this store. Congratulations! You lost a customer for life and I will literally drive 20 miles out of my way to avoid your store. Ever wonder why the Mankato Lowe's didn't make it? Well go to the Owatonna one and you'll find a perfect example!!

Adam in appliances is the best! I deal with extreme anxiety so when my dryer belt broke I rush to Lowe’s understanding they had replacement that works with my dryer. Apon my arrival we both was in confusion the web site said the part was at this location but the package said a different size Adam didn’t give up and we figured it out. Sometime you just need a little more effort the kind I got from him and not from management. Thanks again definitely needs a raise.

Absolutely horrible experience. We bought a washer and dryer spending almost 2 grand. The washer broke less than 24 hrs in. Called them they told me I had to bring it back in and exchange it. Well I can't do that I have no help getting it out. They never offered to come fix it. They said the manager would call the next day. Well 3 days later still have not heard anything. Finally call corporate hopefully they can help me. It just seems like they don't care.

Beware when getting online check to see if really out of stock. Had seasonal item canceled due to out of stock and had a couple on the shelf. Frustrating but awesome deals and great service at desk.

Busy day for shopping, Black Friday, i had planned to buy a new dishwasher, I was there for 2 hours.
It felt like a game, because I had just opened a credit card with Lowes. After doing the math on paper, I made a final decision on a unit & while at the register to pay, i was told, to go home and order it on line. I am a senior, yet tech savvy. 20% off if you use a new card, and free lowes card for the $189.00 installation.
It was stressful and not how i like to do business.

I found a KitchAide dishwasher on market place, $100.00
