Lowe's Home Improvement - Parkersburg, WV

Look like a good Lowe's store with decent parking. Went in for a super wide snow shovel, but seems like the widest they had was 18", which is the norm.

Where dreams. Come true. From fixing an issue quickly to making that project you have to have or buys tools and equipment. They really should add a small mancave bar on the side to give guys a few more reasons to shop.

It's your typical lowes with anything and everything you need from a cold soda and munchies , lawn and garden equipment and supplies to building materials

Dumbest thing I've seen from management in a long time employees all had a management meeting right in the main aisle blocking both directions so you had to actually ask them to move so you could get over to the registers who the hell is thinking this stuff up I'm a paying customer you don't block paying customers from getting to the registers or getting to where they need to go

My rating is actually a ZERO! I had a very bad experience with the appliance associate by the name of Amy from store #2246 located in 2 Walton Dr Parkersburg WV 26101. I went to purchase a washer and dryer and was refuse service for no reason with a very negative attitude. Confused and upset about the situation I proceeded to seek for a manager on duty to put the complaint. However, the managers seem not to care and NEVER did I received an apology. I truly believe ALL CUSTOMERS should be treated with RESPECT. The unprofessionalism from these associates SHOULD NOT be acceptable never the less tolerated. I will not recommend shopping at this store.

I purchased a washer and dryer from lowes. I decided to purchase an additional protection plan to cover these for the first 3 years just to be safe. Well both have failed and I can say the protection plan is a joke. DO NOT BUY. I've been waiting 3 months for both my washer and dryer to be fixed and l just get a run around. The service company they have contracted to do the repair is awful. They don't answer the phone, they don't call back. When you call the number to speak to someone about the protection plan you get a call center over seas that tells you sorry you need to contact the service provided despite me telling them the service provider won't call me back and I want a different one. Absolute waste of my time and money. I've call the store manager twice at the lowes we purchased these from and still can't get help. Absolutely awful

Understaffed like everyone else, had to leave and go to another location because we couldn't find anyone to help us. We did buy a paint sample when we went to check out we had to walk to the commercial sales department because we "will not use" the self-checkout, we found three employees standing around gossiping, so guess they had free time. The lady in the paint department was really nice. Only go to this location if you have no other choice
Update: I didn't think it was possible, but this location has gotten worse.

Lowe's is awesome. They gave everything. And if they don't have it on hand they can order it for you. They are very knowledgeable. Of course there are some that have more knowledge than others. Don't be afraid to ask anyone anything.

Jason in the Electrical aisle assisted me with a double 50 Amp Breaker. He went above and beyond to help me locate that and several other items. BEST customer service I’ve had in quite awhile. 5 Stars.

I don't like having to be a Lowes employee and not get paid for it. I don't go to a store to shop and the also be my own cashier. Absolutely ridiculous. Mostly why I would rather drive 30 miles to Menards. I don't have to act like an employee. Self checkout is a joke and I hope you forcing this on customers makes you lose many of them. Customer service is not a priority as you will claim.

Excellent service, lots of plants/supplies in the garden center, employees do their best to help with your needs & the store is clean and spacious

Lowes is a great place to go and a lovely opportunity for work. I've been going to this lowes since I was a little girl and its only gotten better under new management.

Didn't have what my hubby was looking for. Maybe next time.

Looking for a brown door. Since it needs to be ordered, it's $60 more than white. (Rolling my eyes)

They were very busy & it took a long time to get waited (reason for the 4 stars) BUT after the guys loaded up my vehicle, they apologized for it taking so long - very nice gentlemen. (Forgot to get their names, though.) I appreciated them making a special effort to compensate for the long wait.
