Drake’s Construction did our new roof a few weeks ago. They did an excellent job and made the entire expensive and stressful process as easy as a big unexpected expense can be. Brian Drake gave us a fair estimate, he was easy to work with, answered all of my many questions and was very communicative.

Aside from a roof replacement they removed and closed off 5 skylights and installed new gutters and downspouts. They did a great job - both inside and out - and we couldn’t be happier! Here are before and after pictures of the roof…it was a hot mess before they did they got here!

His crew is great and they certainly went the extra mile for us. We couldn’t be happier and I’m so glad we went with Drake’s Construction & Restoration!!!

Everyone I've come in contact with at Drake's is a top notch professional and just plain nice. They replaced an old furnace with a central heat and air unit and it could not have gone smoother. I would highly recommend them for any job.

We purchased a home where the cats were peeing into every air vent and return. Drake's crew came and cleaned every inch of the HVAC system in one day. It's terrifying to think we were breathing that stuff they got out of our vents! We are so thankful to not have to worry anymore and the guys were great with our dogs too! Our home smells better and we are all happier.

Drake's Construction did an excellent job demoing two large structures on our property. Brian was excellent to work with and handled everything since we had never had anything demoed before. The price was great and the work was on time and was very fast. The weather came and Brian let us know he’d seed and straw after the storm and even hand-delivered the invoice when we settled up.

Drake’s construction went out of their way for me. After calling other places for a estimate and then just never showing up. I called drakes and they called back in 10 minutes, went and looked at the roof and had a estimate the next day.

I did have to cancel my service but once I called back they went that day and fixed my roof. You can’t beat their customer service and commitment to helping their customers.

We contacted many companies to get quotes for a new roof and gutters, most never replied, one never showed. So I called Drakes, and I received a call back the same day, a quote the next, and a scheduled appointment straight away. On the scheduled day, the crew showed up early and ready to go. They finished the shingles in one day, gutters the next. The foreman for each task was informative, courteous and seemed to have pride in their job. Other than a few missed nails, they cleaned up like they were never there. We are completely happy with the workmanship Drakes team provided. We have had Fred Ernak at Drake’s work on our A/C and Furnace over the last couple of months. He has been absolutely wonderful to work with! He is responsive and has gone above and beyond to take care of us! I highly recommend using Drake’s for any and all HVAC needs! Wonderful company!

This job was a great example of how customer service should be done. They worked with us on the quote to get within our budget and had timely replies to every question we had.

They showed up a day earlier than they had originally anticipated (after making sure that worked for us) and managed to remove all the old shingles, replace a few sheets of plywood, reshingle, and clean up after themselves so well that our place looked better than before they had started all in a little less than 8 hours.

The job foreman was courteous and had a great customer facing demeanor and the crew were like a well-oiled machine. These guys were no joke

When I first contacted them for the damage from the windstorm they came and patched roof temporary till they could come replace it. A week later had another windstorm that lifted more shingles and they came right back and covered that up for me also. Drake’s construction came today and replaced the shingles on my house they did an amazing job! They had the old shingles off and new on in 8 hours.Great company and would recommend them to anyone!

I called multiple companies to get my roof repaired and Drakes was the only one to return my call promptly...Brian gave me his honest opinion on the repair and after some due diligence...i decided to get a full roof installation...pricing was fair...quality work and very professional...i would highly recommend.

Our home AC stopped working on Friday evening. After calling several companies in the area Drake's Construction & Restoration was able to come out TODAY, diagnose and fix the issue and have us operational at a very reasonable cost. Very friendly, efficient, and effective service!!!

After calling several other HVAC service businesses, I chose Drake's because they offered the best value and didn't try to make me sign up for an expensive package/contract. They scheduled the service within the same week and were definitely on time. Chucky, who is knowledgeable and professional, checked and serviced our AC unit and looked over the filter and furnace inside. I was very satisfied with the service and it was as painless as possible.

I can’t say enough positive things about these guys. Their work is outstanding. There crew is polite and on time. I was kept up on everything that they were doing, and consulted on every significant event during the course of their work. I will absolutely use them again.

I had section of flat roof that had not been installed properly and subsequently leaked and caused wood rot. Drake’s provided a free estimate, and after my approval promptly replaced and repaired the damaged area. Service was performed timely and in the agreed upon manner.

I had the opportunity to work with Brian Drake today on his business. Obviously, he takes a tremendous amount of pride in taking care of his customers. Plus, he’s a fireman and well-respected in the community. I believe he will take good care of you, your home, or your business.

I can’t say enough about this 5 star business. They came the same day I called to give me a estimate for my furnace and came the next day to fix it.They answered my questions, told me each step and HAD to be there all day and I still only had to pay the original quote. (A lot of people in construction try to add extras)

I will hold my opinion until i see if they ever call me back. I have made several calls and left several messages for Brian Drake to call me regarding issues with our rubber roof and to get him to give us a time when they will finish the job.
Several months ago after they finished the roof on the house Brian said that they would return in 2 weeks to finish the rest of the work and now i cant even get a return call. So i will not rate this company until i see what they are going to do.
I had to pick a rating for this to post but as of right now its a zero but it could go higher depending on what happens

We use Drake's Construction for almost everything, including extensive home remodeling, as well as install of a new furnace. Always friendly, professional exceptional service that we can always count on,

My furnace was not working correctly so I called to talk to someone and Brian called me back within the hour. I told him my issue and he had Chris one of his workers call and talk to me. There was a little miscommunication on their part and I didn't hear back from anyone till the next day after talking with Chris. Chris came and took care of my issue within 30 minutes. He apologized for the miscommunication. He was very nice and professional. Brian called to check and make sure everything was in working order. I will be using Drake's if I have any other issues and will have them do a yearly check/cleaning.

I had an old roof that had been patched up many times before but was now leaking through into the home. Drake’s was quick to provide information along with the quote and even made sure the leak was patched until they had time to do the full replacement.

My air quit working and I called them after close but they were still able to take my call andschedule a call back. Got a call the next morning and they were at my house fixing it before 2pm. Super professional, knowledgeable, and nice.

I would recommend Drakes to anyone, I had Drakes put in a full HVAC system in my house and did away with my old floor furnace. They had the whole system and duct work in very quick. The guys that did it were very knowledgeable and the service was great. Everything looks and works great.

I contacted Drake in September of 2020 to give me an estimate on a roof for a client, I also got several other estimates who all informed me I needed a new roof and Drake’s was the only one that informed my client he did not need a new roof just some patching and chimney work and new gutters. He stayed in contact for the next month asking if we had decided to proceed with the job and his communication and consistency won me over! They were quick and easy to work with and I have recommended him to several friends and will continue to use this business.

I had an older roof with wind damage and a leaking carport that needed replaced. Bryan assisted me with the insurance claim. During the repair process, I was able to communicate with the crew and Bryan about some extra work which they were able to complete with the job. The crew was courteous, efficient, and completed the job with quality workmanship. The work was completed in 2.5 days. I couldn't be happier with the results!

In September 2020 we experienced a fire at our home. After calling and waiting on other companies people told us about and getting nowhere, we called Brian Drake, owner of Drakes Construction and Restoration. Brian was at our home the next day and sent a quote the same day. Drakes rebuilt our garage, installed a new garage door opener, put a new roof on our home and they set up an ozone machine to get the smoke smell out. They also poured a new sidewalk and installed a new window. Brian’s team was timely and efficient. They were also incredibly professional, very neat and respectful of our home. We were very happy with their work and recommend them highly.

Drakes remodeled a bedroom and made an en suite with our bedroom. We are older 80’s and wanted the convenience. Their design was beyond our dreams . 2 closets, washer & Drier, toilet area with door, shower beautiful.marble and they suggested a bench to sit on in the shower. Also marble. We sorta poo pooed the bench and now because of health issues it’s a blessing. We can’t thank Drskes enough for a beautiful en Suite but also the for foresight to cover out needs. Work is excellent and never a mess. Thanks again we love it!

Drake’s is installing a new HVAC system into my home. The process has been amazing and caused no hassle in my daily life

Drake’s replaced our roof. We are very pleased with the outcome. All of the employees were courteous and professional. We would highly recommend this company.

I purchased a home that had been completely renovated by Drakes Construction. With the purchase came a one year warranty, which as a single mother was supposed to be peace of mind.

Within the one year, multiple issues were discovered, some of which were addressed while other things were swept under the rug as they just wait for you to stop calling and never get you on their schedule.
Before the one year warranty was up, Brian Drake (the owner) eventually came to my home to go over my concerns that I kept calling and emailing about. A list was discussed and agreed upon in person and was sent to Jess, the secretary, in an email as a follow up. Most of those items to this day have never been addressed and now they just say “it’s outside of the warranty.” However, and this was included in email correspondence as mentioned above, one of the issues was simply painted over instead of determining what was actually going on. Brian Drake said “I give you my word that if there is an issue and a leak reappears, we will come in and cut into the ceiling to see what’s going on and fix it.” Concerned with this “band aid” and my warranty running out, I questioned it. He again said “You have my word. We’ll fix it if something is wrong regardless if it is outside of the warranty.” I believed him. But, I also put it in the email follow up to be sure there was record of it.

Something is definitely (still) wrong. But, I call and call with no attempt to address continued leaking/water damage to my dining room ceiling. They act as though they have no idea what I’m talking about now.

I had issues with both HVAC units, too. One caused leaking and ductwork full of water in my basement because of their construction errors and would also not regulate because the wiring had not been completed or done correctly (this was addressed within the one year and worked fine afterwards). The other unit in the attic was never looked at, even though concerns were discussed with the owner in the above mentioned visit and was supposed to be looked at before the warranty ended. But they are notorious for not getting you scheduled or following up. Then, this year, that unit that was never looked at finally caused damage because the condensation tray was not adequate for the unit, was not placed correctly under the unit nor was it leveled and condensation apparently had no way of properly escaping before overflowing onto the attic floor. I called and someone eventually did come. This gentleman stated that the installation of the unit had been done poorly and pointed out multiple things that should have been done differently. He leveled things out, placed the tray where it should have been all along and ran a condensation tube to the exterior. However, during that process, a “kink” was left in the line by leaving the condensation tube hanging in a loop from a rafter over night in my attic. This resulted in MORE water damage to my ceilings and wall that has yet to be addressed or repaired either. I was told they would paint it but nobody ever returns my calls or gets me on their schedule.

This is all damage caused by and created by this company and their errors yet I’m just left hanging.

If you read some of their other reviews on Facebook, Google, or look them up on Better Business Bureau’s site, you’ll see consistency within the complaints. You’ll also notice that there is usually a comment/reply from the company added to the negative reviews, giving an excuse or attempting to dismiss the complaints of the customers. I’m sure I’ll get a reply about them being too busy to respond or schedule me. But, if you have been a previous disappointed customer of Drakes Construction, you’ll know the complaints are legitimate and consistent with your own experiences.

Because of my own personal experience with Drakes Construction, I would never recommend this company to anyone. Ever. Their work is subpar and then you have to deal with repairs because of the poor quality of their work. They are unreliable. They are unprofessional. And their word means absolutely nothing.

I called to see about getting my outside unit turned from a different heating and cooling company installation. The position of the unit was letting the water draining off of it allowing it to run along the foundation going into my utility room that caused the baseboard to rot. They returned the call and was suppose to look at it and never called back. I called again asking for that person and was told they would call me back and never got a call.

I had roof repairs done mid March. I still had a leak and Drake’s roofer returned approx April 20th and determined unrepaired damage in different area was still attributing to SAME leaking area and would discuss with owner. I had paid $1400 for March repairs...which I “assumed” was to be a resolution of my roof leak. Drake’s owner NEVER returned my requests for information but told receptionist it was different damage. It is EXACTLY In the SAME LARGE LEAK AREA. I am 70 yr old widow, retired claim processor for State Farm Insurance. I obviously tossed $1400 down the drain and have contacted a different roofer!!!!!

Was here same day I called, and repairs done the next day. I was given two options since our income is limited. I'm grateful for the kindness from everyone I spoke with, and would highly recommend these folks for any roof repairs or replacement. They're quick, and they're good.
Heavy rain 6/21 caused a leak around a ceiling light. They have an answering service, I was called that night, he was here the next day, I got the estimate, and the repairs are now done on 6/23. I would still highly recommend this company.

The lady that answers the phone is terrible! She is VERY rude, has no idea what she is talking about, nor does she know what kind of service they provide! She also states that someone will call you back and no one ever does. This is very sad and disappointing because they do a good job IF you can ever get a hold of anyone. This type of service is what closes businesses down.

WOW! What can I say!
Brian Drake went above and beyond in our time of crisis! Truly a stand up guy, who treats his customers with care and respect! And expects nothing less from his employees!
We had a terrible wind storm in early August. We had 9 trees down, and one of the trees, (70’ Pine tree) went through our roof and upstairs ceiling, and rain water was infiltrating the floor joists, soaking the downstairs bedrooms, as well! The trees ripped off gutters and soffit/fascia, tore off a porch awning, smashed porch railings, smashed patio furniture and BBQ grills, broke sidewalks and also damaged brick and masonry. Our house looked like a War Zone!
Within an hour of getting the call from our insurance agent, he and his crew were here to remove the debris from our roof and secure a tarp! ( On a Friday evening at 6:30 pm , mind you, after working a long hard week themselves!) Then they brought in huge fans and dehumidifiers to dry everything out.
Mr. Drake submitted a repair quote to us and our Insurance Adjuster, which was accepted. (But as to be expected, there’s were bumps in the road.) The Insurance Adjuster had missed many things in his estimate, Mr. Drake diligently negotiated, on our behalf, for the overlooked damage to several more roof rafters and additional gutters as well as interior drywall repair. (And that means a lot to an overwhelmed homeowner that just wants their home back!!!)
Upon the commencement of starting the repair to our home, Brian was always communicative! Letting us know what was going on with every step of the process! If I had questions or concerns, within minutes there was a return call, text or email. And most importantly, follow through!!!! He did what he said he would do!!! (Hard to find people like that!)
Every crew member at Drake’s Construction and Restoration that came to our home were always respectful, polite and hard working! (No trash talking or playing games!) They cleaned up after themselves every day, communicated with us upon their findings and process and were just in general, a great bunch of people!

Brian Drake along with his crew, did a beautiful job for me on Gran Azteca building. Brian went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right. Top rate operation!!

We called Drake's due to a flooding in our basement, & considering the amount of work that had to be done & knowing that we were not the only ones needing his services, it was really done in a timely manner. Whenever an issue came up, they always took care of it. We are very happy with our new basement.

Drakes is construction a 600 sqft extension on our house. Started end of Nov 2018 and in April 2019 still working to get to dry. They get you to sign by promising a quick start, but after they have started they'll put a skeleton crew on it. For example siding a house will take a full months.
They don't have a good overview of what still needs to be done and what is completed. In order to show progress they will do things in the wrong order causing double or even triple work.
So if you are looking for a quick start, but are willing to except that it will take long and you are willing to micromanage their work, Drake's your team

I woke up at 7 am with no heat. I called Drakes heating and cooling and they had Mike come out and fix it the same day. Mike was very informative and gave me an education session on every step that he was doing. Within the hour I had heat again! I highly recommend and they are lowest price around. Other companies want double the price for what they charge.

Had them come look at my roof after a hail storm. Younger gentleman examined the roof and said that there really was very little, if any damage. So nice to get an honest answer and not just someone looking to make a quick sale. Very trustworthy!

Called to inquire about an estimate on my leaking skylight and kitchen ceiling that was crumbling onto my floor. Spoke to a lady who advised no one would be able to come to my house that particular day but the owner would contact me in a little while so we could set something up.I never received a call back. It's been THREE WEEKS! Obviously I’m going with someone else.

Edit after reply from Drake's(which was later removed): I can certainly understand how the company might be busy! However I was advised I would receive a call but the owner was out of the office. It would have been a more professional choice to simply state my particular job was not of interest or it was something that was not able to be done due to an already busy schedule. I did receive a voicemail today (after my post) proving that my phone number was still on file and simply neglected. Respectfully, I do not wish to speak further on the matter. Simply putting my experience out there.
