Customer feedback is mixed regarding Lowe's, with some praising the helpfulness and professionalism of staff while others express frustration with delivery services and in-store assistance. Many reviews highlight the positive interactions with employees who go above and beyond to assist customers. However, there is a significant number of complaints about poor communication, inadequate staffing, and issues with third-party delivery services. These serious concerns regarding customer service and logistics overshadow the positive experiences for some customers, leading to a cautious overall sentiment.
- Jerry is very understanding, professional and wasted no time in resolving my pickup and return back to the Lowe’s store.
- Sabrina at the paint counter is extremely kind and helpful!
- The staff will help you find anything you need.
- Employees offered to help me find what I was looking for and went above and beyond to do so!
- A Lowe's employee went above and beyond her duties to assist us in buying outdoor blinds.
- The delivery experience was a complete nightmare, and it ruined what should have been a smooth transition into my new house.
- No one ever shows up until we’re almost finished.
- They seemed like they didn’t care about my complaint.
- Customer service is severely lacking in most departments.
- My order is never complete or correct as well as what looks like culled lumber being put on customers orders.

I want to thank Jerry a manager at the Christiansburg store on two major items I ordered online. Unfortunately they both came in damaged. Jerry is very understanding, professional and wasted no time in resolving my pickup and return back to the Lowe’s store. His quick actions and respect towards customers makes Lowe’s a truly great store with proven professionalism.

I had a great experience at my local Lowe’s store especially with the appliance specialist who helped me choose everything I needed for my new home. Unfortunately, the delivery experience was a complete nightmare, and it ruined what should have been a smooth transition into my new house.
Lowe’s used TOP DOLLARS TRUCKING LLC as their third-party delivery service, and I would strongly caution others about using them. They delivered my appliances the day after I closed on my brand-new home, and their handling of the delivery was careless and unacceptable.
They scratched up my walls and scuffed my baseboards while forcing the fridge into place.
While carrying the washer upstairs, they dropped it causing a pipe to burst and flooding my laundry room.
When I filed a damage claim, I waited weeks only to be told it was denied. They blamed Samsung for the burst pipe, completely deflecting responsibility.
This kind of finger-pointing is incredibly frustrating, especially when the damage clearly happened during delivery. TOP DOLLAR TRUCKING LLC showed a complete lack of professionalism and accountability.
I highly recommend Lowe’s re-evaluate their partnership with this company. If you're considering a large appliance delivery from Lowe’s, make sure you know who is doing the delivery or be prepared to deal with unnecessary damage and stress.
TOP DOLLAR TRUCKING LLC THE WORST

After spending 3 hours in Lowe’s getting materials for a client project, over $5k spent in materials and all we asked for was an extra hand in loading all the materials. Waited for 30 minutes before my husband & I decided to do it all ourselves because we’re on a time schedule. No one ever shows up until we’re almost finished. 2 young boys pull up to get a few pieces of plywood and 2 employees basically trip over their on feet to help them out. Employee in the picture sees us and turns his back on us. Even though they had already finished loading their order, he could’ve helped us but I guess decided we wasn’t worth his time. Guess we’ll have to start taking our business to Home Depot from now on.

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
