A few months ago, I called this company just to get some advice on an issue I was dealing with, and that’s when I first spoke with Michele Foulger. From the very beginning, she was incredibly helpful and quick to respond. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working with her on my project, and she’s truly gone above and beyond. Michele has patiently answered all my questions and done everything she can to make the process as smooth as possible. While the actual rebuild has taken longer than expected, Michele has consistently checked in and offered her help at every turn. Honestly, if it weren’t for Michele’s outstanding support and care, I’m not sure I would have moved forward with the project. She’s been an absolute bright spot throughout this experience! I am satisfied with the restoration Nick did on my house. Everything was completed like the original before my accident. He was easy to work with and understood how I wanted things back to normal. .He treated the restoration like it was his home and my experience was good. I know that sometimes having the wrong contractors to do the jobs makes for more problems. Nick's choice in contractor was good and anything that needed to make the project correct was completed to my satisfaction

Amy and the crew at Paul Davis were very responsive through the entire process. A small fire carried soot everywhere and they came in and cleaned, removed damaged items and pretty much anything we needed! Any concerns were addressed immediately. Words cannot express the gratitude my family has for Paul Restoration of Richmond. In short suspense, Mrs. Amy Dixon and her upmost professional crew members Page, Jamal, Riddel, Roster and Mikele, relieved me of the stress that I honestly thought couldn’t get done in such a short time. Mrs. Amy consistently stay in communication with me to arrange times and dates for the mediation team and the restoration team to come restore a wall and carpet that was badly damaged by water from a water main break. The consideration and respect they showed for my home and items in my home was nothing less than phenomenal. They moved the items out, repaired and replaced the damaged concerns, then moved my items back into place exactly where I had them originally. I did not have to lift one finger and yet I am beyond satisfied and amazed at the results. I wholeheartedly recommend this outstanding and professional supportive team to any one that needs their home to feel like their home again after a tragedy has happened.

I live in an apartment building and the unit directly below us had a small deck fire that left us with smoke damaged items. Paul Davis did a wonderful job getting all of our recoverable items smelling as if they were brand new. They even got a stain out that I had given up on prior to this incident! Once we had the items removed we were still smelling a smoke odor coming from the carpet and they held our items so that we could easily have the carpet replaced. Overall 10/10. Thank you Angel for you and your crews help you all really made this seem like a simple fix!

Due to the water being turned off an turned back on in most of Richmond I experienced an unexpected toilet back up and I was so lost and confused ….but I can’t say enough great things about Dwight and Allen at Paul Davis Restoration of Greater Richmond. From the moment they arrived, they were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire process so much easier. It’s never fun dealing with damage to your property, but Dwight and Allen immediately put me at ease with their confidence and expertise.

1/9/2025: Straightforward, timely, polite, and humorous. They got in, addressed the problem, and began mitigation directly. They got the scariest parts of the water damage squared away and I'd say they absolutely helped to prevent further water damage from occurring.

I had Dwight, Allen, Lamont, and Jamal! They were amazing! So great, in fact, that I asked my insurance company to continue with them for restoration as well.

1/16/2025: Update on Mitigation! Finally got all of the water thoroughly out of my house. I just wanted to say, these guys are really on it. Dwight, Allen, and Lamont are really great! After days of hearing the fans going and sucking up all of the water, it's kind of a blessing to hear the quiet, but I could swear there's still the ghostly whir of a fan going in my mind, haha.

They did accidentally leave one fan behind, but it barely took up any room for any time - they came and got it out of my way lickety split! It really drove home that they're aiming for professionalism and white glove service. :)

1/20/2025: Update on the in-between! Mitigation has been done so I've just been waiting through the weekend to chat with these helpful people, though I did get the impression they might work through weekends, too (as damages don't exactly have a schedule). Had a wonderful time chatting with Kameka and Nicholas Richmond, getting questions answered, contracts signed, and work permitted. I'm awaiting word from a project manager, but I wanted to make sure that I gave 'em both a shout out given they're politeness and enthusiasm when answering my questions and helping me out.

Great guys! Great customer service! Lamont, Dwight, and Allen. They came in and got all the water up and made sure they explained everything they were doing from start to finish.

Wonderful company gentleman came out to my unit in regards to a mold issue . Lee took the extra mile in looking through the walls which located the mold he even gave me info on why the mold was accumulating I really appreciated that . I would definitely recommend the company and ask for Lee.

Paul Davis Restoration was very quick and efficient and Jaliq made the process so seamless. He was extremely helpful and offered other solutions not even given to us by our Home Warranty company. As a customer, I'm extremely disappointed with Paul Davis of Greater Richmond for not having Clark Livingston on their team. Clark's expertise and professionalism were the primary reasons I chose this company. Without him, the service quality and reliability have significantly declined. It's a huge oversight on their part not to retain such a valuable employee, and it reflects poorly on their ability to retain talent and satisfy customers' needs.

Update 07/2024
Hey it only took a year and 6 months but they came and finished all the work and got paid.
They did some serious restructuring in the company, down to the new receptionist and all previous project managers gone. Honestly did good work with the flooring and the crawlspace beams to support the joist that a structural enginner passed as up to code.
I am actually really satisfied with the floor it actually looks amazing and level.
Learning experince, to just check all the nooks and cranies before giving that final payment.
For actually coming though and doing a great job I am giving them another star but woudlnt reccomend their work to a friend.

I cannot express my dissatisfaction for using them for a flood that happened due to frozen pipes over Christmas of 2022.
Yes it is July of 2023 and they still refuse to come and finish work and continue to bill be and add overcharges for non payment due to the fact that they have not finished their work.
My home insurance agent reccomended me to use them, and I have never been led astray in a worse way.
Absolutley non responsive and do terrible work with little supervision. Recently was contacted that the project manger and worker that did my 'restorating' were fired...and they didnt not return to fix the uncompleted work and continue to bill me.

Priorities...not with customer concerns and doing the best restoration. More like do the bare minimum and hope the home owner doesnt notice.
Double check their work always!! Every corner and detail.
Or better yet dont ever call them or trust anything they say
