Some of the people who work here are great and other people are just there doing their 9 to 5. When you go there and find someone who really knows what they're talking about, it's a wonderful experience. When you go there and no one there knows what they're talking about, it is a a nightmare and you might as well just go to somewhere like Walmart. It's really a mixed bag. I have stood at the desk out front while the person there just did some mundane job and ignored me. The customer. They offer a military discount, but you have to register for it online and sometimes you get it and sometimes you don't.

I will give this place zero stars. I have never been treated so horribly for shopping somewhere and spending $1000's. After my husband and I had just purchased paint for the outside of our home among other things I needed a few other items so we parted ways and I went to grab what I needed as I'm shopping in the plant section a man comes up to me who says he is the manager there is a group of people standing right by me chatting and he singles me out and tells me to get out of his store right now almost yelling this at me. I was pretty caught off guard by this as I was doing nothing wrong and asked him why am I being kicked out sir to what she said I had tried to leave the building twice already which makes absolutely no sense at all if I had tried to leave twice why would I still be in there he had just made up a lie and couldn't think of something smart enough I guess in such a quick amount of time so I told him show me that on video sir he says he doesn't have to do anything I said I want to speak with your manager he said I am the manager and told me I have to leave right now so I got my things paid for them even though I really didn't want to after that rude treatment. I will never be going back to that store again mind you we just remodeled our house and bought everything from home Depot but yes I'm a thief right check your facts first buddy. He did not like me for whatever reason and decided to kick me out which is being racist or profiling or whatever he's doing he needs to be fired I will make sure that none of my friends or family or anyone ever visit your store again. How embarrassing

My only problem I have with Home Depot is there is so much to see, that I wander about for hours! LOL

Racist Home Depot. My adopted brother was harassed and followed because of the color of his skin. He's a veteran that served his country but that doesn't matter to This Racist Home Depot. Doesn't even matter to corporate because they gave the most benign corporate response ever. Thank you for bringing it to our attention we will handle it internally. Which means we're not going to do squat. I was a loyal customer of Home Depot until this but I will not support racism. As a combat veteran myself I find it repugnant. Certainly never had an issue like that with Lowe's

I want to give a sincere shout out to Tony Mason, the Lead Sales Associate at the Aberdeen, WA Home Depot. Tony has consistently gone above and beyond in every interaction we have had helping me do my remodeling. He always greets me personally with a "Hello" and "How can I help you". A small gesture that truly sets a welcoming tone. Tony has helped me with several online orders including the most recent order #WN22849706, which I picked up on June 20, 2025, and always makes a point to assist with loading large purchases into my truck. His friendly, outgoing demeanor is over the top in the best way. It's clear he genuinely enjoys helping customers and takes pride in his role. Home Depot is lucky to have someone like Tony on their team.

My husband Rick and I recently built a house in Ocean Shores and we had purchased a dryer. Well our house wasn’t ready to move in quite yet and the dryer that was delivered was a gas dryer. We needed an electric dryer. Needless to say we didn’t catch the mistake until over a month after we received it. Deanna and Amy managers from the store let us bring the gas dryer back. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ♥️ Thank You!

We came in needing plumbing. How do you sort through all of it. Thankfully we had a list and the greatest help was Rick. He hung in there with us while we looked endlessly for fittings and PVC pipe. Thank you Rick, we would have been there till morning without you!!!

The staff here are generally friendly and kind, which makes shopping a pleasant experience. One thing to note...at self-checkout, a worker now has to ring up your items for you, which kind of defeats the purpose of having self-checkout in the first place. It might be more efficient to open additional regular registers instead.

While this location doesn’t have the same wide selection as some of the bigger city Home Depots, it’s still a solid choice for most basic home improvement needs.

The store is clean and organized, and they always have what I need. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I also want to thank Ewald extensively for the several times he has given me spot on advice for my various plumbing issues. I’ve replaced nearly every water dispensing appliance in my house, and he has been able to tell me exactly what parts and tools I need every single time.

We purchased a new range, microwave, and dishwasher. We told the sales person we were replacing a downdraft with the new one. We were told the delivery, installation, and removal of the old range was included.
When everything was delivered, only 1 person barely spoke English. They said they were not allowed to remove or take away a downdraft range. They wouldn't even help me move it so they could install the new one. I ended up hiring a person to remove the old one, put it in the yard, and install the new range.

I should have been informed of any issues in the store. Instead I was told they would handle everything and there would be no problems.

I will never go to this store again.

Good place, has everything you need. I just wanted to share something. I was in the tools isle looking at some rachet extenders and other various things when I another customer walks up the isle with a employee, I'm assuming someone who watches self check out. The employee was a dude, brown shaggy hair, didn't get his name. Anyway I'm looking at this rachet extender kit and they walk up to it. Apparently the customer bought the same thing I was looking at because the price tag said it was 20$(that's an estimate) and thought it was a good deal. But after he paid for it he looked at his receipt and it said 40$(also an estimate). So the customer is proving to this cashier dude that that's what the price says while I'm checking it out, and the cashier looks at me, races to pull the price tag off the wall, then says to me with a smirk on his face "Once I pull the tag off, the price is what ever it rings up as" then he just stares at me waiting for me to say something. The customer then said "Well. now it's free" lightening the mood a little, the customer was a cool guy. But the cashier watcher dude was seemingly unnecessarily confrontational, like dude. Are you really gonna rip the tag off and say that to someone who is obviously looking at it? Maybe I'm being sensitive but that whole thing rubbed me the wrong way. Except the customer, he was a mega chad lol Anyway after reading some of the other reviews it's clear that a portion of the employees are not fit for their position. And to me it, the employee I interacted with was incredibly unpleasant fitting with the norm unfortunately. Not to say other employees are like him, but I think I'm gonna go to arrow lumber for my tools and wood from now on. Probably doesn't mean anything to homedepots bottom line, but I'm just here sharing my experience. Anyway whoever reads this, keep on keepin on and don't let the shitty employees get you down. You be you, and have a fantastic day

The employees don't go out of their way to help you. They don't welcome you in, it is difficult to get someone to help. I was struggling to loads sheets plywood from the stack onto cart, which kept rolling away from me. Four employees were standing 20 ft away talking about things unrelated to work, while they watched me struggle to pull off ten pieces of plywood and load them onto my cart. I heard several groups of employees throughout the store, talking about other employees and what they are doing outside of work, while ignoring other customers. Not a good way to run a business. Also the prices here are unreasonably High.

This review is well-deserved for Kengo M. and Tony M. at the Aberdeen, WA Home Depot.

Our adventure began on the 28th when we purchased a Home Decor vanity and sink combo. After bringing it home, we discovered the sink was cracked. I made the 30-minute drive back to the store to exchange it. We checked the replacement sink at the store, and it looked fine, so I headed home. Unfortunately, when we opened the box, we found the cabinet was cracked all over.

Back to Home Depot we went. At this point, we decided we were done with the Home Decor line and selected a different vanity. Tony asked another associate to help retrieve it, but that person seemed uninterested. Instead of assisting, he wandered off to load merchandise onto a cart elsewhere.

After spending hours of my anniversary weekend dealing with this, I was ready to walk out. I left behind the caulk and drinks I had picked up and started heading for the exit. That’s when Kengo stepped in. Calm, kind, and professional, he reassured us that he would handle it personally.

Kengo and Tony guided us back to the vanities. Kengo operated the lift, retrieved the vanity, and together they loaded it onto a cart and helped us secure it in our truck. On top of that, they offered us a discount, which I truly appreciated after all the hassle.

I was incredibly frustrated when I encountered Kengo, but his patience and excellent customer service completely turned the experience around. I was ready to swear off Home Depot, but thanks to Kengo and Tony, they won me back.

I do think Home Depot should reconsider carrying the Home Decor line, as the quality has been disappointing. However, their ability to hire outstanding employees like Kengo and Tony makes all the difference.

Thank you both for your kindness and dedication!

The only reason I have it a 4 instead of a f5 is because I can rarely find workers in the aisles.

I’ve been trying for 2 days to order a refrigerator. I couldn’t get an associate that knew how to accomplish a simple order. Most items on their website are out of stock. And my Home Depot card was declined twice! I have an $8000 dollar credit limit. How they didn’t go out of business during the COVID is beyond me! I will never do this again!

Came in on a sunny Friday to get a couple gallons of paint. The paint section was PACKED. About 8 people were in line waiting for paint and one guy was getting 15 DIFFERENT gallons. I was almost dead last in line. The home depot team pulled together and got everyone's orders ready extremely fast and had me out within 10-15 minutes. Love the team work there!

Went to look for an item listed as "See an Associate" in the app's Store Mode. I found Shana, who diligently tracked it down to where it was stored up top and then fetched someone to get it down for me. She was great to work with and I appreciate her efforts!
UPDATE: Had to come back woth a shout-out to Brian at the paint counter for patiently and knowledgeably answering my many, many questions about how to paint my concrete goose.

Stopped by to get started plants. There was not much variety compared to past years. I asked an employee where the pansies were. He pointed me to the vegetables. I looked all over. Never did find any pansies. Lots of petunias, some violas, calliebrachoa, Gerber daisies and shrubs. But no pansies.

Only place with in 60 miles. Has most all a home owner would need. Prices are very high and if you have the time, you can find it cheaper online

Service questions

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
