The Home Depot - Elko, NV

We had a great experience at the Elko Home Depot recently. We were looking for large totes for storage and wasn’t sure where to look. Dillon saw us and asked if we needed help and when we said yes, immediately took us to where we needed to be! They had plenty of size options which was great. Awesome customer service and streamlined experience!

I'm not overly impressed with Home Depot in Elko, Nv.
The store says installation of appliances is available. Well not exactly. The store, located in Elko, Nevada, tells me the company that delivers the appliances, doesn't install dishwashers. When I asked why I couldn't get a reason.
Well if that's the case, The Home Depot needs to put a disclaimer on the Elko Store page. When I asked for the name of the company that delivers the appliances, the store employee had to ask a manager for the name.
They gave me the name, and I tried to search for a review on t them, Wifi service and wifi service inside the store is no good.
To be fair, they gave me 3 names of people who can install dishwashers. So now I have to set an appointment to have it installed.

Again Home Depot needs to be transparent.
Each store needs to list what 3rd party Final Mile Delivery and installers they use.

Love our Elko Home Depot. The people that work there are more than happy to help you with anything and they are all so pleasant.

As a contractor, this store has been so crucial in the success of my business. The staff is always prompt, knowledgeable, and super friendly. I’m super thankful for this store.

With brother in law for an on-site construction project, we needed to get a few items that were needed to take complete the project.

I bought a A live Christmas tree from Home Depot this year it was $85. I thought it was a reasonable price two weeks after I bought it. It’s so dry. I don’t dare turn on my lights. I watered it every day. Had the bottom cut off so it was fresh and now I can’t enjoy my Christmas tree on Christmas Day because I can’t turn on the lights because it’s too dry The absolute last time I’ll shop at Home Depot

This place is a freaking joke to deliver to. You have to have an appointment to unload but yet they tell you another truck raises priority and they will unload you when they get time.

Only one start cause i can’t give a negative star for the crappy attitude i was given when i checked in

Did my countertop install they worked with me through precision countertop and what a nightmare samples at Home Depot def don’t match what’s installed at all . So unfortunately I would not recommend . Down $1600 through Home Depot and now have to go pay someone else to not only remove the work they did but redo it so it will likely cost even more than if I had just gone with someone else in the first place. You’d think a big chain like this would care about satisfaction but they did absolutely nothing for an unhappy customer paying so much. Not only that but $300 of that was thrown down for no reason just to meet their minimum payment. Go somewhere else If you want an accurate sample of what will get installed. It was really bad …

I bought a refrigerator recently and it quit in less then 4 months. It was under manufacturer warranty so had to wait for repair man. The manager Caleb in Elko is a stand up guy and made things right.

This is a great store, the people who work there are always so friendly and so helpful, and they know where items are in the store when you ask them, I really enjoy shopping at this store.

What an awesome Home Depot! We had to go there several times while trying to clean out my mother-in-laws house. Honestly, everyone we encountered, each time, was wonderful, we were greeted, asked if we need help finding anything and everyone had a positive attitude. My husband had a part he needed and couldn’t find, Caleb, the Operations Manager, searched the store and online to help find a solution, he probably spent 30 minutes with us. Absolutely a great experience that we wish we had here in Kerrville. Elko’s Home Depot could put together a training manual on what it takes to provide great Customer Service and give it all other Home Depot’s.

What can I really say. This is you run of the mill Home Depot. They keep a decent selection of items. Can't always trust the mobile app though, the stock levels are usually off. It's best to call the store for item availability.

Caleb, Katie, Will, and the delivery truck driver are the best!!! Great staff very professional, great customer service, and good prices.

Carlos Moreno was our delivery person. Very respectful and helpful was on time and helped out with removal and installation of new washer. Great guy

It's exactly the same as every other Home Depot I have ever been in.
Admittedly, their garden section looked healthier than most.

Carol goes above and beyond. She should be recognized today and every day. I am so impressed with her customer service. 5 stars!!!!!

I wish this wasn't a bit scathing however I'm $2800 put on a brand new washer drier combo machine. The machine doesn't perform at all as it's supposed to and I was never informed that home depot is simply the middle man. I can not return it and while at the help desk the employee became argumentative about the situation stating that a 90 day warranty shouldn't be assumed as common. (They have a 48 hour return policy) I'm just bummed you can buy a brand new machine and while it's not broken, it just does not perform as advertised.(doesn't wash well and doesn't dry at all) Not even close. I can't even exchange it for another or different unit.

I absolutely love this Home Depot store! It's clean, well stocked, organized and has an outstanding team member, Susan (manager) who is always there to help in providing the best in customer service. Susan, you ensure my Elko Home Depot shopping experiences are positive and happy! I sincerely appreciate your efforts on my behalf. Thank you!

Today I had the best experience with Chrys in the electrical department! She knew everything that I needed for the installation on my hot tub project! Home Depot is lucky to have her!❤️

I had a great experience with DJ today at the service desk. He went above and beyond to help my husband and I get our dryer situation handled. He took time out of his busy day to make sure the dryer was working for us by the end of the day. He had a great attitude the whole time!!

I can't say enough good about this store. This is our second remodel and Katie is amazing. She also goes above and beyond. Home Depot is lucky to have these two on their side. Katie ( pro desk ) and DJ ( service desk)

My husband and I did a total remodel on our home. Katie and her assistant Josh were more than helpful, they were awesome!!

This has to be the most friendly and helpful Home Depot I've ever shopped at; and I've shopped alot at Home Depot.

I've been going to this Home Depot for 2 years and the garden center is always great to see! It has become one of my "stress relief" areas to go browse in.
The home supplies are awesome and there is a good amount of clearance items for those that enjoy their savings.
The employees are super friendly and focus on their jobs and customers throughout the day.
10/10 would recommend.

The people that work here really make the difference, have been really nice and helpful (Not the most knowledgeable all the time), but are willing to try and figure it out with you. I have been here many times for all kinds of projects and got the same results. That is what sets this apart from any other Home Depots

Changes in the store keep me on my toes. Never know where things might be or something fun to buy in the isles

Mary H and Toni G are incredible employees. I have lost too many gloves at work and Mary H gave me her glove clip. As a fellow retail employee, thank you. This was a blessing during the holidays. Thank you Toni G for helping assist with this.

The cashier staff is top notch. Kaylee helped me today and made sure I got the correct matching light switches and showed me the differences between the options. Thank you for the nice experience today Kaylee

Its Home Depot. This visit I received a pleasant surprise of excellent customer service I was pulling $1,000 worth of treated wood and someone thought it would be a good idea to put a huge load of drywall in front of all yes that's correct all treated wood was very difficult to pull as you only had about 2 ft clearance between the drywall and the middle of the aisle and the wood that needed to be pulled. A very helpful employee from shipping and receiving was the only person to ask if they could help and proceeded to help me pick my order. Very pleasant employee and very helpful. Unfortunately this is very uncommon and again I am very delighted thank you!

Some things are hard to find because our store is usually out of stock. Only thing I don’t recommend is going to Mary at the customer service desk. I have NEVER had such bad customer service with somebody. If you hate your job, find a different one. On multiple occasions she’s been rude, disrespectful, and has yelled at my daughter.
