It's a great store. I love shopping there. I get great quality things there. But one thing that needs to be improved is the service.But I will always come back and do my business with Home Depot. I would recommend this place to everyone. Thank You Home Depot.

Generally, Home Depot is a pretty decent place, and the people are friendly. My last experience was great until the very end. I ended up purchasing far more than I had anticipated spending, and the young man who handled the cash register seemed perturbed that my cart was full of small items. Many small items. He had no methodology for scanning my items, and he seemed upset that the person behind me was having to wait and made me feel as if I should have patronized another store. Honestly, this is probably the first bad experience I have had at Home Depot, thus I will still give 4 stars, but it would have been an easy 5 if it had not been for the young man working for Home Depot, who made me feel like a burden for spending a lot of money there.

We don't use any other store for our painting projects. Nancy (Nancy.com) is so kind to work with. She color matched our exterior paint and determined that one brand was better than the one we chose. She was right, the color didn't match correctly with the paint brand we had originally chose. Her perfectionist attitude was much appreciated and her eagerness to please was so impressive. What a great asset to Home Depot!!! Thank you, Nancy!!!! May God bless you.

Home Depot is my go-to for everything from home improvement projects to seasonal decor. The store is always well-organized, clean, and stocked with a wide variety of quality products. I especially appreciate the knowledgeable and friendly staff—they’re always ready to help and offer great advice. Whether I’m picking up lumber, browsing paint colors, or grabbing garden supplies, I know I can count on Home Depot for fair prices and excellent service. Highly recommend!

Oh man where to start. I have been a flooring contractor for 20 years. Ordered flooring for a customer was supposed to be here on the 16th never showed up. Then the 27th it was supposed to be here but yet again When I called about my missing flooring home Depot they told me I had to call the shipping company in Georgia. So I call them they said they shipped it to another company that delivered in our area. So I call the next company. They tell me that it's should be with a different shipping company that delivers locally. Well when I call them they have an order number and say it hasn't been delivered to them yet. So I called home Depot and asked them to find the product that the sold me that is now two weeks late. They tell me they will call the shipping company and find it. Well when they called back they tell me it's been shipped to the wrong residential address here. Well they just flat out lied to me definitely didn't call ALL three shipping companies to find my carpet. Then they magically have it in stock and can cut it and delivered the next day.. then they call back and say they can't even do that for another week. Like man get it together worst experience with Home Depot I have ever had and I have spent a lot of money there in 20 yrs. Definitely lost a loyal customer.

You know I probably wouldn't be so upset is I wasn't flat out lied to. That upsets me.

By far the best experience I’ve ever had at a Home Depot! Everyone was super sweet and the manager was a doll!! Helped me load the sandbags into my truck and was overall just an absolute gentleman about it!

My husband is a very loyal customer so am I. Today we went to this Helena Home Depot, we were buying supplies for our house that we are building together. We came there early this morning and realized we forgot some stuff so we went back to purchase more. The second trip to this store, we had an employee come up and accused us of stealing because we came back the same day and he assumed we were going to use our receipt from earlier this morning to convince the cashier that we already paid. Which we were not even buying the same stuff on the receipt from earlier, and we’re not sure why he would think that we were going to be doing that since we were just in the plumping aisle not even close to the front doors or cash registers, and as we had originally planed we paid and such, but his approach and rudeness really didn’t sit well with us. We love this Home Depot and would love to still have business with them but we refuse to keep being accused of stealing when we are loyal and reliable customers to this store. I am just asking that management would talk to their employees about this situation. Thank you much.

Drove 70 miles from Butte to rent a floor sander. The guy in the tool rental shop was so friendly and helpful, and gave a much better experience than the rental store in Butte. It was definitely worth the drive.

Usually can find what I need, this was not one of those days. I had found the lawnmower I wanted on the website and it looked as if it was available at the Helena store. I live 60 miles away, so it was very disappointing that the selection in the store was completely different. No sales people anywhere, it always turns into a ghost town.
I also had my disabled husband with me and no electric carts available. They only have one or two, which is ridiculous. I wasn't happy about him having to wait in the hot car, so between that, no help, and the item not available, I left annoyed and empty handed.
Update: I hate Home Depot. So I went home and ordered a mower, since the store didn't have it and I couldn't get any help. Well, guess what? They sent me the wrong thing and now I have to take the effing thing back to the store where I couldn't get any freaking help! FFS, I'm an ailing old lady with a useless disabled husband and I can't even mow my freaking yard. Thanks a lot, Home Depot.

We've been doing a lot of home projects - from woodworking to carpet cleaning. Home Depot boasts of the best customer service! They were so helpful when I rented a $27 carpet cleaner. They strike that perfect balance of being there to answer questions without hovering too close. Home Depot also has the easiest way to pickup propane tanks - use the app or order inside at checkout. No need to wait around for someone to unlock anything, use the code (from app or checkout reciept) at the kiosk and pick up your propane outside.

My recent experience with Home Depot for a comprehensive home renovation project involving appliance and flooring purchases was profoundly disappointing. Despite paying over $10,000 and providing my address in-store, Home Depot attempted to deliver the purchased items to a previous resident's address, causing significant inconvenience and confusion while I was away for work.

Upon delivery, a third-party contractor, presumably hired by Home Depot, exhibited alarming incompetence and lack of professionalism. They began work without allowing me to inspect the equipment, resulting in damages to my property, including a broken security camera and water flooding the floors. Moreover, they refused to install certain appliances, citing vague policies, despite my payment for installation services.

To compound matters, the promised flooring project timeline was egregiously delayed. Initially assured of completion by May, I was informed by a subcontracted company that the project would extend into June or July, with an unexpected demand for additional fees for tile removal, contradicting the initial assessment conducted by a Home Depot representative. This was particularly frustrating as three separate contractors, whom I consulted, unanimously confirmed that the additional charge for tile removal was unwarranted, suggesting that Home Depot's insistence on this fee was discriminatory.

Frustratingly, Home Depot's response to rectify the situation was inadequate. Instead of addressing the core issues, they attempted to send another team, further eroding trust due to their mishandling of communication and project management.

The repercussions of their negligence extended beyond inconvenience; the mishandling of my refrigerator resulted in significant food spoilage and disruption to my daily life. I had to demand compensation for the losses incurred due to the subcontractor's incompetence.

In conclusion, my experience with Home Depot was a nightmare, marred by poor communication, subpar service, and unresolved issues. I have initiated requests for refunds and will not patronize their services for future projects.

HD consistently reinforces my negative expectations. Ordered a shower stall kit online and waited. Got the call two weeks after the promised delivery date with "we don't know where it is, it's lost in transit." A month later after we'd purchased and installed another stall, got a call from HD informing us that the original order was ready for pick up at the store. This was after we had cancelled the order! This is just one of many examples of my experience with their incompetence. Take a bottle of Tums when you go.

Awesome! Walked in and exchanged online order that was wrong size. No problem, just give them order number and it came up in system. Account was credited and I placed another online order since they did not have what I needed in store. Should be here on Tuesday!
