The Home Depot - Tooele, UT

I ordered my Counter tops from Home Depot and the customer service Girl who wrote up my order was a 5-star HOWEVER after that I give a 2-STAR. Go someplace were the people you buy from also install the product. The Installers installed things and everything went smooth right up till I had a small little issue and then it was the blame game and no one wanted to come look at the issue and fix it. Since Home Depot Hires out installers and plumbers etc. The customer ends up having to call multiple people and trying to find someone to help to the point we had to fix ot out self. SO WHY PAY for Install if your going to have to fix things yourself if a problem comes up. BUY FROM A COMPANY that does all the work and save yourself the hassle.

Sad thing is I should have known better as I Bought my Appliances from Home Depot also a year ago and the Installers Messed up The cabinets at my home and also Broke the Stove Top. I just got the stove top replaced last Month as it took me over a year to save for a new one.

Living In TOOELE with no real options its just easy to go to Home Depot BUT NEVER AGAIN I WILL DRIVE TO THE VALLEY !!!!!!

OR call the Manufacturer's of the product and buy Direct skipping the stores, I did that with my double oven and it went 100% perfect.

What is it with customer service these days ??? I get a responce from Homedepot asking me to fill out a form about the issue I had ? WHY do I have to spend more time on this ? If you want to know then have a customer service HUMAN call me and ask stop making ME do the WORK

Wendy was absolutely amazing! She was so patient with us and our very large purchase. She seemed to be the only one with all the answers! We will always look for her now when shopping at Home Depot! Give her a raise!!

Customer service was awesome we had questions about plants and how many to plant together. Would it take over a flowery bed if put in pots. And we won't forget someone who dressed for.

This location is great. Wonderful staff (who get to know you after you come in as often as I do), always willing to help. Recently had an online order I had to return and exchange and they were as professional as always. Their discount program for military AND spouses is pretty cool too. If you’re military, have your spouse sign up so you can double the amount you can save in a year. This is great if you are constantly doing house projects like we are!

We came for new appliances and were lucky to be helped my Scott. He is very informative and a great guy!

Today I went home depot - 4:00PM to get some materials for my project, I was helping my husband put the heavy materials into the shopping cart and Brian, an employee, saw us and immediately jumped into action. He then helped us put it into the vehicle. Thank you Brian, for your genuine interest in helping and providing Excellent Customer service.

I'm usually very happy with home depot, but today we had a very rude employees. We were trying to walk and they were behind us, pushing their way and almost knocked us down. When my husband said excuse me, they just turned around and laughed and had these smug looks on their faces, so my husband called them out and told them they were being rude. Their manager was there and told my husband to shut up and not to talk to her employees that way. I think she's a vendor that works for home. Depot, they had the aisles all blocked and acted like they were put out . I know when I see her there. She just always sanding around talking and laughing and not doing anything I didn't know.That's what you got paid for. You need to remember your customers are the one coming in and buying things. That's what keeps you in a job. I hope you turn things around. I know a lot of people aren't happy with you anymore. That's why more and more people are buying online.

It's just about the only place to walk around with the kids', besides walmart. We love looking at the seasonal stuff. Always helpful when we need help in any department

Went to buy firing strips it was marked a 1.97 per strip they tried to charge me 57.00 dollars for 3 strips I told that’s what the tag said she went back looked at it and she agreed she went back up to register and told me that’s the price she is going to charge which was 57.00 dollars so of course never payed it and walked out she wasn’t good at customer service . Be careful look at price before you pay.

I’ve been a loyal Home Depot customer for years, spending thousands of dollars on products for home improvement projects. However, my experience a few weeks ago has completely changed my opinion of this company.

While using the self-checkout, I accidentally forgot to scan a $10 bucket that I had placed my other items in. It was an honest mistake, but instead of handling the situation with understanding or professionalism, the store’s security staff pulled me into a back room and banned me from the store for three years.

I offered to pay for the bucket or even a fine, but they refused to let me resolve the issue. It’s appalling that Home Depot would treat a long-time, high-spending customer this way over such a minor oversight.

Because of this experience, I will now be taking my business to Lowe’s. Over a $10 bucket, Home Depot has lost thousands of dollars in future sales, and I will be sharing this story with others. This level of disrespect and inflexibility is unacceptable, and I urge others to think twice before supporting a company that values rules over customer relationships.

The local Home Depot is always good. Great, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. They’re late hours have saved my projects more than once.

Customer service is usually pretty good. It is clear that this store is attempting to rebuild its customer service reputation and I appreciate that!

Do NOT buy anything from their flooring department. Stay as far away from it! It’s not worth dealing with all the troubles. The first order I did with them was a total nightmare and still is even several months later. The flooring arrived damaged and it was totally missed and noticed while they were installing the new floor. I had to contact Home Depot and western states. It took several weeks to get new wood floors. I had no floor for about a month, my dog actually hurt herself because the job wasn’t done. Once it was finished, they did such a crap job they had to come back and fix what they just did. Well that another 3 weeks. I’m suppose to get 10% off because of the nightmare, about a month in a half later.. still don’t have it. No one updates me about it.
Second order: we unfortunately had to order more flooring to match.. paid extra to have it delivered. Yeah they delivered it alright.. next to the side walk. Thanks for making me pay more to do it myself! I’m sure the second order will have problems so I will update as it gets installed Monday. I’ve included pictures of all the screw ups this far. I also included how the floor was left a month because of the damage flooring.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place was nothing but a joke to deal with. We have always shopped with Home Depot but will definitely no longer be shopping here. We bought blinds from them and had them installed. One was defective so we had to reschedule another time for the install team to go out and install the new blind. Because of this the manager offered a reimbursement for the inconvenience. I called after the install was complete to get refunded for my measurement fee and reimbursement offered from the manager. They told me their system was updating and they would be able to do it tomorrow. I called back the next day then they told me the system was broke and they needed to call IT. Called the next day same excuse. Called a week later and the same excuse at this point I had talked to every manager, Taylor (original one to offer the reimbursement), Bill and Trinity. I called a week later to talk to the store manager to see how we can resolve this at this point it’s been weeks. Trinity answered the phone and gave me nothing but attitude and started to yell telling me there is nothing they can do because the system is “broken”. When all I did was ask to talk to the store manager. I decided to call corporate because there is no way their system is broken for a month straight, they just didn’t want to follow through on the refund. After calling corporate the Store manager was able to write me a check. after a couple days of the issue being ongoing they should’ve done this in the first place. Do not shop as this store they are a nightmare.

Had a great experience with Zachary Leyer at the paint desk. We were trying to do a paint match after our kiddo thought peeling paint was a fun activity and made a large hole in our red accent wall! This is not a typical accent wall and would be. 2-4 day project if we couldn’t find a match. We had come in once to do a paint match and it was very much too purple! So we brought it in again and Zachary took the time to really hear us and did a match. He even took it outside with our sample and checked it in the sunlight. Helped us with the gloss match and it was a perfect match! Super helpful, professional and friendly! Thank you Zachary Leyer! You are awesome:)

Home Depot has a good selection of a lot of useful products for making my home just the way I want it. 3 star rating for the completely useless people who work there. They are either too old or too young to be of any help.

3 of them watched me struggling to load a piece of plywood onto my cart. When I turned around and saw them watching, they scattered. No one wants to work anymore.

I was looking for water softeners at Home Depot. I selected the one I wanted and inquired about an installation through Home Depot. An employee set me up and said a representative from “Superior Air and Water” would be contacting me as this is who they recommend and partner with.

I assumed an installer would be assessing the job and quoting a price. Instead a salesman came to my home to sell me a completely different, much higher priced system…one that Home Depot doesn't carry! He had no reservation in telling me how substandard the softeners Home Depot sells are and how Superior Air and Water would be hard pressed to install such low quality equipment. This is who Home Depot contracts with to represent them? Perhaps they should rethink their partnership.

Such a disappointing bait and switch from such an otherwise reputable company. Had I wanted a salesman to come out, I would have called one. I have completely lost confidence in my favorite home improvement store and would like to know why this is a standard business practice? Below is a quote for the LEAST expensive unit…installed.

How horrible you go to go shopping and you can’t even get into a handicap spot because of the carts jammed in the spots . How hard is it to bring the carts daily so this doesn’t happen. What do you want the handicap people to do besides i know ots illegal to block those spots

This place is definitely not contractor friendly, takes them 30 min to load a pallet when you’re the only one waiting at 6:00 am. They decide to do all their loading first before taking care of a paying customer. Manger shrugged it off as she didn’t know what was going on.

Tooele needs a Lowe’s or somewhere with helpful people. If you’re the only store like this in an area, hire enough people to actually work the busy departments.
Sat on hold with the machine rental department for 21minutes only to be hung up on. Stood in line for longer to try and rent a trencher only to be told “whelp I hope you’ve got gas at home because we don’t have any to fill it with.”

This is my go to for home improvement stuff. Most of the staff members are great. I really like the online ordering saves time.

We went in for some basic supplies for a plumbing repair and were helped by Bryon. He was by far the most helpful employee we’ve Ever worked with at this location. He went above and beyond to make sure that all of our questions were answered and that we had the necessary supplies to complete the job. Thank you, Bryon!

I was helped by Justin and was extremely impressed with the level of customer service. I just had some questions on some tools and needed a tool chest that was on top of the shelving rack. He said it was not a problem for them to get it down (though I know it was an inconvenience). He and the others that helped were cheerful and I was impressed! Thank you Home Depot!
