So took my tool trailer here that had some breaking issues got it fixed the first time didn't get it resolved and had to put it back in the shop for another week and was able to get it fixed great communication and big thanks to the owner for changing his schedule to get our trailer fixed and out the door will definitely be back in the future

Fantastic experience. Rob called me every step of the way over the course of the 2-3 weeks that my trailer was there for many repairs. I’m a new camper owner, and inherited an old one for free. Rob walked me through a list of items in order of the most important things to accommodate the budget I was on. He left me with some recommendations and further items that he would tackle next to give me some ideas for the future. Will definitely come here again for future needs and questions. Highly recommend.

We had an emergency stop on our way to Burning Man and Rob did a great job replacing the bearings overnight so we can stay on our schedule. Thanks again Tooele RV! You really rescued us!

UPDATE: CUSTOMERS BEWARE and read your reviews! More than mine! I am one of many who unfortunately did not read them before falling into this shady business.

The owner gaslit me for leaving a vague review so here are all the details in broad daylight:

I called this “shop” and asked for a quote on a repair for some crossmembers on my flatbed trailer. Understandably, they could not quote me without seeing the trailer so I took it in. A couple days later I receive a phone call telling me that they looked under the trailer and the damages would be “over $2,000”. No real numbers, no real quote, not even a piece of paper. Unhappy with the price, I went to pick up my trailer unrepaired and was shocked to see that I owed them $90 for “labor”. I understand diagnostic fees for troubleshooting automobiles and other difficult troubleshooting challenges but I told Tooele RV what the problem was, there was zero troubleshooting or even discovering of an issue. They just stuck their head underneath (days later) and confirmed what I already told them. When I contended the bill that I was never told I would have, a manager was contacted and both the desk worker and manager very rudely and abruptly told me I was unintelligent for expecting “free work”. I paid the bogus bill, took my trailer and left.

Rather than write me up a real quote as requested, they chase down my brief one star review on a Saturday while the business is closed and get very upset with me. With all the one star reviews this is probably why it takes so long for them to get to their work.

Unclear on how much they will actually charge you for services. Slow work, overpriced storefront. Abrupt and unkind communication skills. Wouldn't recommend for a good experience.

Wanted propane, 10/8/23 fast service competitive price. Guy pumping propane was super nice! I have always gone here for my propane and trailer stuff, will again.

Rob and Sarah run a pretty tight ship! They got me in and out in good time given how busy they were. They were fair in their pricing and provided quality work. Highly recommend taking your trailer or RV there if you're in the Tooele Valley, and even if you're not.

Rob and his wife are wonderful people. Very helpful and very informative. They get straight to the point and tell it how it is. The customer service was great, and I left feeling like a valued and appreciated customer. Definitely recommend Tooele RV for all your RV repair and supplies needs.

Will NEVER go here again. Charged me 3.5 hours of labor, $525 just to install a stabilizer hitch that I already own! A few bolts that State Trailer said they could install and level in 1 hour ($169). Don’t go here! You’ll pay $135/hr for incompetent, lazy labor. The “technician” had to keep asking how to do his job and was on his phone three times in the 30 minutes I was there instead of actively working, but running up the labor clock just the same. The owner says about my concerns, “Then, you should’ve gone to State Trailer.”

A great little locally owned business. They try hard and do their level best to deliver quality products and services. A little out of the way, while being right in the middle of everything. Many don't even know they exist. I had been buying welding supplies and gases there, but unfortunately, they have stopped handling them now. They do have a few welding items left, so drop in and get some good sale items. Full selection of RV, campers with spare parts, as well as service and repairs. Right across the street from Ace Hardware.

I Bought a propane Regulator from Tooele RV took it home and installed it it was bad out of the package returned it the next day because they closed and they told me to return it to the factory because they do not have warranty on their parts. They did not inform me at the time of purchase nor was there any signs. It’s Elder abuse

Fantastic service and super friendly staff. They were so professional and even stayed late on a Friday night to make sure our Rv was ready to go—which was huge because we were on our way to national parks! Highly recommend!

We were traveling through the area when we had a wheel bearing heat up. We called and talked to Rob who said they could help us out. They did a great job getting us right in and starting the repair. It took 2 days because of the damage to the axle. They did a great job taking care to keep us advised of the progress. Thank you so much for the great service. I would highly recommend them for your service needs.

RV had to replace axel driving through. Helped us by phone and then guided us to the shop by one of their employees who was driving home. He volunteered to get us there and went above and beyond working on a Saturday to get the job done.great thanks to the whole family and got us back on the road in 2 days.

They were awesome!!! I'm from out of town was on a camping trip and forgot to fill my freshwater tank, they let me feel my tank up. Lifesaver what could have been a terrible trip wound up being wonderful because of this company!!!

Tooele RV Repair is an awesome company to work with for all RV repairs. We've owned 2 different toy haulers now and have had Rob do mayjor electrical repairs and upgrades to both. He does get busy but is willing to talk to you over the phone and help with troubleshooting before you need to take your trailer to him. They also carry a large selection of parts so you dont have to run into Salt Lake.

My family and I have been coming here for automotive work for the last 11 years. They are very well educated and can do almost anything involving engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, ect. I have been very pleased with the work they have provided to us over the last decade. They have saved us thousands of dollars of unnecessary car repairs. They are very efficient and honest about everything they do, which is the biggest reason I've been going to them. A lot of other mechanics will lie and scam others but they are so opened and honest about the work they do. I definitely recommend them to anyone.

I recently bought a used trailer and began living in it , I have had multiple things that needed repair , I have been able to get the parts that I needed at a fair price and am grateful for their courteous service , Recommend them to everyone.

I always try to keep my business local but save your time and money , after taking my rv here my entire exhaust system was stole and the property/business has not only no intention to help you , they instruct their insurance to turn you away , even though they are in Possession of your camper , worst experience you could think of

I took my trailer down to have the awning removed as it will need to be replaced. They were able to get me in and taken care of. My daughter lost the bearings on her horse trailer on her way to a rodeo. Tooele RV was able to get her in and get her back on the road the same day!

UPDATE: owner isn’t as nice as I thought. Instead of calling and apologizing for his employees poor workmanship and asking how he could fix it, he called and insulted me and suggested that the reason we disputed the charges wasn’t because of the poor quality of their work, but because we bought a trailer that we can’t afford, and that we actually disputed the charges because we were “broke”. Rob is a narcissist, and instead of asking what he can do to make it right, he tried justifying his $120 an hour labor rates which he claims are posted at their shop. I never stepped foot inside his shop until I picked up the trailer, and if I was made aware of their rates, I would have easily gone somewhere else.

UPDATE and response to owner. To prove slander, you’d have to prove that I’m lying about your work. I guess it’s good that I took pictures as well…

Owner was really nice and friendly, but I was so speechless when he gave me the total that I didn’t even know what to say, so I paid and went on my way. It wasn’t until I got home that the shock wore off and I looked at the receipt and realized they had charged me $120 an hour for trailer wiring…. I’m a computer programmer and charge $100 an hour… and what RV shop doesn’t have an Andersen hitch adapter to move a trailer around?? They charged me $60 (one half hour) to remove and reinstall the Andersen coupler because they didn’t have an adapter. I would have been okay if it was $30, but $60????

Total bill was $400…. For two and a half hours of work.

Anyway… Had my trailer wired for a 7-way to pull doubles and when I got home, I walked in the house and came back outside and looked down the driveway and two of the electrical wires were hanging so low to the ground under the trailer that I’m surprised they’ll or didn’t get snagged and torn from under the trailer on my way home. So, I grabbed the electrical tape and taped up the excess. When I looked at the exposed portion of the harness, I was a little bothered that they used RED electrical tape to wrap it. Black bumper, black hitch, RED exposed electrical… yep. Makes sense. And there was a separate line item on the invoice for electrical tape. $15, for red electrical tape….

I gotta say, I’m a little worried about this holding up based on the rest of the workmanship, and for the price I paid, I expect a LOT higher quality work….

It’s too bad, because I love supporting local, but this was a trip to the proctologist without lubrication. I won’t be back again.

My refrigerator display showed a code for a communication problem. When I picked up my rv I was told that the same display that showed me the code was bad. It was changed out with an inferior audible display. The old display i was given back had a broken LCD screen and a different format. The owner assured me that it was mine. It was not!

Tooele RV was spot-on of the diagnosis of the electrical problem that I was having on my motorhome.
Had exactly what I needed and gave me just the right amount of advice so that I could do most of the work myself.

I got an rv shower faucet and didn't have to drive to SLC. They were very helpful and had what I needed in stock.

We traveled from Lava Hot Springs, ID just to have our travel trailer maintenance and service performed. This is the 2nd time we’ve come here and it’s well worth the trip. They give such good service and we trust their work. Highly recommended!

Fun place this xamp site is a little out of way of the main mountain. Which make it a lot quieter. But you can get quickly to all the trails. Great fun but unwind at night

I've been going to Tooele RV and Auto Repair for years. They're very honest and good people. The mechanic's are very knowledgeable.

My Dometic refrigerator circuit board fried today. Drove to Tooele RV & Auto Repair and they had a new one in stock. Replaced it on the spot and got everything back to working order within an hour. Couldn't be happier with the service - thanks guys!

I was so impressed with Tooele RV and Auto repair that I wanted to share my experience. As a new boat owner I was warned and warned about the potential costs associated with boat ownership. The first day out on the lake I discovered an oil leak. After doing some research I realized I was over my head and contacted Tooele RV. They helped me rule out the worst case scenario and requested some pictures and a video of what was going on. They had me try a few things myself and eventually I decided I needed to take it in and have them fix what I thought was wrong. I was expecting it to take a couple weeks and cost quite a bit of money. They called me less than a week later and told me it was fixed. It was much less than I thought it was going to be and much faster than I thought it was going to be. It is so nice to have an honest mechanic in the Tooele Valley.

I had a pretty poor experience here. Mainly I noted that there was no changes for covid, the inside of this place was CROWDED. Beyond that.. the counter guy didn't really answer my questions, just basically argued semantics for how I phrased my questions about what batteries they carry. Also... the prices are high. Really high. In some products as much as double what they're worth.

If you're new to RVs/Trailers, just drive to Salt Lake for your questions, as the service here is terrible.
