We needed to make an exchange but lost our receipt. Sondra was so good to help us! She located the receipt in their system and walked us through the process. Even spent time showing us how to use the app to track our receipts. Thank you Sondra! You are awesome!

Conveniently located. External lumberyard pickup was well marked and staffed with courteous, helpful representatives. It was worth the trip to obtain the products I needed. Thank you

Dan A. in the paint department was extremely helpful for my roommates and I when deciding on paint color, coverage, and sheen for our interior. This was our first college house and he walked us through each step and was extremely patient and fun throughout the process. Thanks again Dan! We will be back!

Found the items that I needed with help from their nice & polite staff. The trip was in & out quickly as I didn't have much time. I would return to buy more stuff that is sold in their store when time permits impressive staff, great prices, and a huge selection of items sold there. It is a win in my book .

We came 4/23/24 for multiple items and you got to love the 11% rebate! Staff was excellent in helping answer any questions and directions we needed, we don't get a chance to come Menards very often so when we do it can be overwhelming trying to find the things we need, also shout out to Zane told us he was new to the check out registers but he did great, and anything he didn't know he asked from someone who did thank you Zane keep it up your doing great! Menards we hope to continue with great experiences in the future! thanks!!

I ordered delivery of mulch scheduled for today. I got up at 7am. I called at 10am to see if I could determine time for delivery. Left a message and received a text indicating delivery between 10am and 3pm. It is now 3pm and I called and was told one more delivery before mine. What a waste of my time.

I will not shop at this store nor any other store for that matter in Lawrence I forgot the day outlawed plastic bags. Oh yes they'll provide a cart to get your items out to your car. Do you know how much hassle it is once I get home and hope that the paper bags do not rip and everything falls all over the ground. I can see them thinking that plastic bags are not good for the environment that's all fine and dandy but look at energy is used to make a paper bag. Plastic bags are not the only plastic item made for general consumers why don't you ban plastic bottles Lawrence? How about plastic jugs for motor oil? Why did you only ban plastic bags? If you're going to ban plastic items you should ban all of them

I came into Menards to get 8 bags of heavy deer corn. I knew it was going to be hard for me to lift and transport the bags to my truck, so I asked Austin (at the Lawrence location) to help me. Without hesitation he picked up a cart, went and grabbed all 8 bags of corns, brought them to my car, and lifted them into my car. He was so willing to help and was so kind about it. Thank you Menards for hiring such helpful and kind employees!

Menard's is the Walmart of big box hardware stores! Outside of that double price list due to the ongoing rebate sale, you can actually get some good quality for a reasonable price.
I have been in three different ones, and they are all laid out pretty much the same way. They all never quite have enough people working the floor as well, lol. But that little odd thing for a reasonable price, they have it. I also like checking out the seasonal indoor plants. Typically happens from spring to fall. I think have had only one die and it was more my fault that anything else!
Check them out, they are worth the side trip.

I love this store it always has what I need and more! and while I was shopping today I needed some help finding the paint department because the store is so big it’s
easy to get turned around. But the cashier Teaunna was standing at the edge of her lane willing to help! she was so nice and cheerful company’s need more employees like her! great job menards!

I went to Home Depot first for tile, and Jeremy at this Menards made sure I’ll never make that mistake again. He was extremely helpful and I wish there was more I could do in return than this one review!

I just purchased my first home and it’s has been crazy for me. I really wanted a certain flooring and Lawrence Menards was the place that had it! I spoke to Jeremy and he helped me navigate and was so helpful even with a little struggle from the bank. All of this is new to me and it was so relieving to talk to someone so helpful and kind. Thank you Jeremy! And Lawrence Menards.

I love Menards and appreciate the rebate. I recently got a credit card with them and made some online purchases. I wish the rebate could be printed at the store for those, as I had an issue where I didn't receive a confirmation email for one of them. I went to the store to ask about it yesterday (after trying several times to get someone on the phone and trying to find answers online) and still couldn't get it taken care of. I went today and talked to the young man working in the order fill section in the back (I didn't catch his name but he was there today (6/30/23) around 5:15pm). He spent quite a while trying to help me figure it out and then came up with a solution. I appreciate the kindness and patience he showed in helping me save a few bucks.

Desired item only available online for pick up at the store. Expected a receipt when I picked it up but that was not available. Only available through email and print it off. I don't have a printer. He told me to go to the library. I do not have transportation. They still insist the only way is through email. He didn't offer help at all. . I've now found there's a kiosk at the store to get any receipt that you need there but the manager did not offer me that. I also had to order online it says only way is available. They show they have it in stock today. They charge a fee to pick up at the store and I paid it when they had that item in stock at the store today same day I picked it up. This is terrible customer service. I went to the store because I want to purchase at a store I do not want to purchase products online. You know there's something wrong with a store that big has only one way to get in and one way to get out. Do not recommend this ver horrible customer service w store. Why offer a brick-and-mortar store when you don't have customer service to go with it.

Kaden was our superstar. Kaden was working in the lumberyard outside and he helped us find and load about $500 worth of heavy treated lumber. He volunteered to go get the last 12 that were upstairs inside for us, those are so hard to get. I'm an old lady and he was so polite and fast and helpful. Give Kaden a bonus because he saved the day.

Good selection of items and some staff was very helpful. No customer service after the sale on the door I bought there. They said that I would have to contact the manufacturer.

I went to purchase electric fence material. Menard did not have everything I needed but did have a few items. I looked at tractor supply website and TSC did have the same material for less, just a different brand. When I asked if Menards would price match, they said no because the brand was not the same. Two things are kind of funny. One, the items at Menards were on clearance. Two, the brands are made by the same company, just different names. I know this because I did my research. For an approximate 13 dollars Menards in Lawrence KS has now lost a customer. BTW, it was a manager who made the decision. I wish I would have gotten her name.

Well stocked and friendly customer service. I was going to buy topsoil, but it was frozen solid as a rock! Not their fault but I thought it was funny.

I ordered furniture and it’s a week late. I called to ask questions about my order & the front manager has no idea what’s going on in their own store, when I talked to the department they told me it should probably get here in a week maybe but we’re not sure….. They act like they really could care less about customers & have terrible customer relation skills. I guess that’s what you get when you order furniture on sale or from mernards I’m not sure but hopefully one day I will see what I paid for.

I love their deals & how nice the employees are! They’re ALWAYS willing to go the extra mile to help me. They sell a little of EVERYTHING so it’s very convenient too.

I needed help with the machine kiosk that prints out receipts and the person working the front desk was not pleased that he needed to help me. Other than that my experience there today was good.

The store is good, a lot of workers if you need to find one and it was as cleaner than you expect. A definite go to... IF you can find it.

I used Google maps I hardly knew I had arrived. There was a Home Depot sign welcoming me... and far far away from the curb line hidden by a tree was the Menards sign blending in. Plenty of empty space in front of the Menards building for a sign to tell me where you are but I guess if the business isn't needed? I can promise a better sign or even some banner flyers you'd increase traffic. I mean I almost went to Home Depot and I had Menards on the mind...

Sondra at the return center went above and beyond. Also, a very helpful gentleman who's name I did not get helped me find everything on my list, without having to grab other associates, which helped with my time so much. Thanks, Menard's folks!

Great experience. They had what I wanted, in a convienent location and it was on sale! They had most everything set up in such a way I could compare different brands side by side, out of the box. I could compare size as well as weight and how they feel in the hand easily. Menards runs tons of sales, and often also has rebate programs. If you go in person, they have a new vehicle giveaway you can register for every month.

They had the replacement mailbox lock I was looking for, and at a good price.
They also had the landscape block adhesive in stock at a lower price than our local hardware store. Summer hats were a good price, so I picked up a couple that I liked. Every staff member asked if we needed help finding anything or help with something.

Solid place to shop for home improvement. I also worked here in the paint department for about 1 year while in college and that was great experience. After spending so much time here I can honestly say they have fair and competitive prices. They might not have the top name brands like Milwaukee, Dewalt, etc. but their customer service and what they have to offer as a company sets them apart. They even have a small grocery section with tons of unique snacks. Great place for a one-stop shop!

Had what we wanted, got in, got out. Was not crowded and was clean . They have decent prices .

They have great prices on bird food. Still have great people. Had 1 of the 2 items we needed. May buy a new washer and dryer from them if we can get right size and good prices for both. They had light for under counter when home depot didn't.

A really good home improvement store. Well stocked shelves, good values, good clerks, and a clean site in general. You sometimes have to look a bit for a clerk but once you find one they can get you the assistance you need. It is now the season for outdoor projects and planting. They have an excellent selection of plants and materials. Your outdoors can be dressed up or down as much as you want with things from Menards!

Nice, full service home improvement store. Some great deals, but also some a bit more than other place on some items. Their 11% rebates are great and never expire!

I only had a conversation with Clark at the checkout lane. Friendly and Courtesy to the buyers. They had everything that we were looking for in stock.

Great prices. And great selection. And they sell Dog food, too. I really like the 11% rebate offer as well. Nice to have especially when prices don't seem to be going down any time soon.
