Menards - Manhattan, KS

The Personnel here is very welcoming. Menards has a lot more than I had initially anticipated. Per my usual, I love the way it smells. I give it a solid 5 s.
They have a lot of inventory for the fur-babies and a great organization section, tools with cost effective discounts on the daily.!
There's always a variety of quality clearance items too. I'm definitely impressed all around.

A note for the manager: I was at Menards picking up 16ft sheets of siding in the back. I asked the girl at the gate if I could get some help bringing the siding to the outdoor saw so i can cut them and get everything in my truck. She said she'd make sure someone was back there. Once I got there I saw 2 forklift drivers zooming around outside. I waited a bit and no one came to help so I started pulling the sheets several hundred ft over to the saw area. One of the forklift drivers saw me and just ignored the fact I was pulling several hundred pounds of siding and didn't offer to help. It was very frustrating.

Can you please make sure the people who work in the back prioritize customer service? Thanks!

One of the cleanest and most organized stores I have ever been to. Everything is always well stocked and the employees always check to see if there is anything they can help you find.

Great store to shop! Huge selection of indoor and outdoor home improvement items.
Menards also offers a small selection of grocery items, books, greeting cards and holiday decor.
The employees are very responsive and friendly.
The exterior parking lot is clean, as is the interior of the store.
The employees at the check-out are ready to help, super friendly, andthe entire transaction process is quick!

I have to give a shout out to Ms Ann at this location! She always remembers me and my husband and is so sweet to us every time we come in. Thank you for allowing your team to have that friendly, family oriented relationship with their customers. It is interactions like this that keep us coming back every single week, whether we need to or not, lol.

You know what you’re getting when you go to Menards. But did they have a good selection of storm doors and hosta! The helper of the storm door was incredibly helpful (can’t remember his name, he had fun glasses)! Thanks Menards for having what I needed!

Really huge place with just about everything household. The store is so clean and organized. And every department has a friendly staff member to help you with just about any question you may have. It took forever to get from one end to the other but it was really an awesome experience. Fast, friendly service and not to mention, they even have groceries! Yea, totally worth going to. I will be going back!

Everything is always pretty good shopping here in person but the online ordering is a different game. I ordered online 1x4x8 and I guess those are inside the store, which you would think getting them ready for pickup is a lot easier. When I get there to pickup my order that was said to be ready through email, it was in fact not ready. I still had to personally go in and get it myself. Complete waste of time. It’s not really a “pickup” when I have to stop what I’m doing to go in and do it myself, that’s just me shopping in person.

Purchased some flooring from them and it was another horrible experience. You can't place anything on this flooring. It leaves marks and tears all over it. We had to cut pieces like a puzzle to try to hide damage places. Brought carpet from them and it was a horrible experience also. The carpet matted and looked like it was installed since the 80's. Never again money wasted. Will try to post pictures.

First time in this store. Excellent service. Decent prices. Representative Cooper was an exceptional help in locating items his associate David was also very helpful but A+ for Cooper. Excellent job! Found exactly what we needed. He took us right where we wanted to go and helped us get the exact items we were looking for! It's wonderful to see young people providing service. It's very much lacking these days. I would give this store a big thumbs up and if somebody from the store is reading this, give Cooper a raise!

Ordered siding took almost an extra week to arrive then took them almost two hours to find it when I went to pick it up. The employees are friendly but an I’m sorry about that doesn’t really cut it at this point. I’m sorry but I don’t think I’ll shop here again.

What a store. I visited in November 2023 to check out places in preparation for my K-State education next year, and this store has everything. I can’t believe we don’t have these in Colorado.

They didn’t have what I needed, But they were very helpful in helping me look for what I did need . Manhattan has a nice store , employees are very knowledgeable

Great customer service. I would pass a Home Depot and ACE just to shop at mennards in Manhattan. Keep up the great work.

Sometimes I don’t even buy anything, just because I like to walk around the store and see what there is. When I do buy stuff, everyone is very nice and has an answer to all my questions. I built a TV stand out of a 1x12 and 4’ pieces of stair tread that I cut at the self service saw. They helped me get started and it was actually really fun.

You need it? They have it. If they don’t have it then you don’t need it. If you do need it and they don’t have it, then you are wrong.

They will cut your project wood pieces down to size on site. Menard doesn't do that. Home Depot for the Win.

The Associates are always friendly and we love the 11% off! They have a lot of choices and the sales Associates are very knowledgeable.

I have no idea how your staff/management feels that it's appropriate to attempt to search a vehicle when they are picking up an online order. Going forward I'll take my business to Home Depot, who apparently is willing to spend money on a Loss Protection Team vs blanketly attempting to search paying customers vehicles.

As a matter of fact as i think about it i have never had a complaint about menards ever....and they give u ur money back in rebates.....lol if they sold milwaukee tools i would never shop anywhere else

My home away from home Definitely out-do the competitors in awesome customer service and more of a variety of products! The online deals get me every time
