Menards - Grand Island, NE

I came to Menards looking for a magnetic wristbands. They only had two in stock and they were very reasonablely priced $12.99, as other places like Lowes or Home Depot are priced @$19.99. We don't have a Menards in the great state of Texas like in Nebraska. I like shopping here when I come here. Staff are always friendly and ready to assist you. Sorry no pictures.

It is unquestionably the best store of all the competition in the United States, far surpassing Home Depot in every aspect. Top-quality products and tools.

The guy in the painting department is amazing in grand island Nebraska very helpful and he seems we very passionate.

This store has the best service I have ever had in 20 years of doing business with several lumber stores can't say enough good things about them thank you to James and his staff for making everything so much easier

This is a nice looking Menards, with pretty nice employees, but I am tired of big box stores "internet shaming" me. Duh if I could have completed my order online, I would not have wasted my time in person.

This morning I was wandering around the outside yard lot (pushing a big rolly cart) trying to locate the wood I needed. Thinking it would be an easy task like it is inside. Quickly realized I have no idea what I'm doing or where to go so I continued walking hoping I'll figure it out. (Side note: Menards needs to put a sign on that outside yard door that reads: "Turn back. Get your vehicle")
15 minutes later I figured out that now I don't even how to get back into Menards. Thankfully Julio saw me and asked if I needed help. And help he did! He located everything on my list! So much walking because nothing on my list was remotely close to each other. So again, Thank You Fork lift operator Julio from Columbia!! You were a lifesaver!!

There so greedy. The 11%off is a joke. Unless you plan on spending a couple hundred dollars. Giving the 11% off for and item that it less than a dollar You spend 10 to 20 dollars.
By the time the process the rebate and get it back to you, they have paid somebody that much just for paper work.
That is what I call greed. Anybody else agree

Went to store to purchase a new stove and microwave. Found someone to help she told us this other person would be able to help us. The sale person was very rude also yelled at her coworker. For this reason we left and went to Home Depot. The sale was almost 2000.00

PSA to all Grand Island Menards shoppers - steer clear of the appliances!!! Whirlpool has bought out Amana, Maytag, Kitchen Aide, Hotpoint & JennAir. Once you purchase any brand other than Criterion, you’re at the mercy of Whirlpool’s warranty program after a week. There is one - I repeat, ONE - contracted warranty repair person in the entire area, and he’s an absolute joke. We’ve bought several mid-grade Whirlpool-owned appliances at Menards; it’s all cheap junk & we can never seem to get warranty repair work done. I highly suggest you shop for major appliances elsewhere. Ken’s sells non-Whirlpool-owned brands & has in-store parts & service.

Customer service at this store has (for the most part) been willing to work with us (begrudgingly), but I feel it’s only right that if Menards is selling these brands & washing their hands of the matter after seven days, they need to be more aware of the local warranty situation & possibly be in contact with Whirlpool to contract a larger, more reputable local company to complete warranty repairs.

Best retail experience in months. Looking a for a certain Christmas tree and couldn’t find it. Asked an associate and rather than looking at the empty spot where the tree was supposed to be and telling me they were gone, he went and actually FOUND IT!! Fernando was polite and helpful. Will return to shop here. I had excellent customer service today.

My go to for about everything, cheapest milk in town, clumping cat litter, and you know that they sell building supplies too?! ...but you have to watch what you buy in that area, their cheapest stuff is of low quality and doesn't last. I recommend their middle line stuff, it's affordable and decent quality.

Store itself is great. Trying to get help loading from a forklift driver is another story. To bad management won't go and do something about them hiding in the shade on their phones instead of the job they was hired for. Feel bad for the truckers like the one that was waiting forever before any of them even slowly inched over to them.

Me da decepción saber que cuando compras y te dicen que tiene garantía, no informan que la garantía no la puedes usar con ellos si no con las empresas que crearon el producto , así que no crean en las garantías que ofrecen por que no pues ir a solo cambiar lo que compraste

It's menards. Checkouts usually not super fast but they have good prices and usually in stock. Will continue to visit.

Love the place! Love clearance! So always looking for the red stickers!!! Wish they put all there red sticker (clearance) stuff all in same aisle!

Menards has about everything in stock and about everything you went looking for. On that note you are going to pay a little more strictly for convenience. They offer 11% off on everything in the store but if you want to cash in on this deal don't throw your receipt away and don't forget to stop by the front desk to get your rebate slips. I am although, very disgusted that such a HUGE store only has ONE motorized cart for the elderly and disabled folks, causing a lengthy wait until the ONE cart is free to use and there are no chairs anywhere to sit and wait. The help there from employees is like a circus to chase one down. At the checkout don't feel rushed to get out of there and bag your stuff but they sure do shove the next customer right through so you are practically on top of one another. Would be beneficial to open up more lanes so you are not in the next customers business.

Always happy with my visits here. Friendly service and helpful staff. Always having a great experience each time I go in. I'm greeted with a smile and 9 out of 10 times I'm asked if I need any help.

I had a return for a damaged in box item. Customer service was very good and I was able to get help both loading and unloading the unit. Reason for only 3 stars is that I got a damaged piece to begin with.

I asked for assistance with help with an appliance bulb, got the help I needed, I love the rebates, I use them for laundry soap, dishwasher detergent, & etc

Great place. Was in there today. An employee in hardware helped me load a tool chest. Even told me it was clearance price. Had a nice employee help me load it into my truck. Great employees, very friendly and helpful. Thank you both.
