This store is absurd. We ordered a lawnmower that was to be delivered, 30 minutes before scheduled delivery they cancel because they can't, in fact, deliver the lawn mower with their current set of trucks. However the delivery team pushes delivery out 2 months for some reason, we decide to switch to in store pickup. Called about 5 different times to confirm lawnmower would be assembled, including a purchased mulch kit, about 3 days later. We show up as discussed, wait for about 3 hours in town while they fulfill the order. No mulch kit installed. Wait additional 45 minutes while they track down the manual and spare key. My husband is now several hours into installing mulch kit. I estimate we've lost about a full day of work (8hrs) because of their abysmal business practices. 1 star because the lawn mower was reasonably priced. Do not recommend.

Jeni is great, it'd be better if management actually staffed the store so that she isn't the only person with keys and running the paint desk on a Monday afternoon. Props to Jeni making the best of a bad situation she was given but management should probably time their meetings when the store is less busy, your customers would appreciate being able to get their items in a timely manner and one person can't run the whole store. She reached out many times to get some help, but there was nobody available. Staff your store!

Customers need to be aware that after your 90 days, Lowe’s will not help you out at all even if you have a faulty device. They tell you just to contact the manufacturer. They say they have no exchange policy on an item that is defective after the 90 days buyers beware.

It was a learning curve! Had to wait for associates to quit arguing and notice me! Shortly afterwards they finally addressed me and didn’t seem to know procedure. They finally showed me where I needed to be near kiosk. That to was not easy as it cycled over and over. Finally a gentleman flagged me and had my order ready for loading. That’s when it started to get better and the associate knew what to do and made it better immediately. He was patient and knowledgeable.

This morning in the garden center as my cheerful, elderly mother was going through the checkout, she cheerily made a comment about the weather and how it was a good day to smile. Who knew that was such an insult! Your checkout girl replied, “It’s too hard to smile” to which my mom simply raised her hand slightly as a gesture of understanding, and “no need to explain”. To which the checkout girl spouts “DONT TOUCH ME!” as though my 75 year old mother had any intention of touching her or hurting her in ANY way. I was floored. I chose not to escalate further despite my shock and anger. I have no clue what this woman is going through- but this behavior was insane and unnecessary. Please train your staff to save their personal issues for the therapist.

So my husband and I always shop at Lowe’s when I say always I mean maybe like 4-6 times a week. Today I approach to costumer service to ask 1 Question. Cindy was there she gave me a horrible attitude. This is the 2nd time I don’t think this is fair when you’re a costumer at Lowe’s she should be nice and polite specially when you spend soo much money there.

This is my favorite home improvement/hardware store in town and mainly because they seem to always have what I want and or need in stock. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the store is always clean, well organized and that everyone who works here is super friendly. Granted, I typically shop here with my border collie and she loves the fact that the staff always seem to have treats for her. If there is down side to this store, it's that every check stand up front is self-checkout and I really do hate that. But, that's pretty much the case everywhere these days and it's a shame. Fortunately, there's usually someone there to quickly help out as needed and if you really want a person to assist you, checking out at the Pro/Lumber yard or through the garden center is where to go. Speaking of the garden center, they typically have a decent selection during the summer months but over the winter, the most you'll find are empty tables. The house plant section inside is full of stuff though. I see this store has gotten a few negative reviews but I think that you'll find that most are in regards to services Lowe's offers. For me, I've used them to buy flooring and appliances and each time was spot on. But, maybe I just got lucky. Either way, I enjoy shopping here and for the reasons stated.

I received an email from Lowe’s protection plan regarding an LG refrigerator that we ended up having to cancel delivery on. I did not cancel the warranty at the time so I was glad that they sent me an email reminding me. I went to the warranty website and started looking at all the other protection plans I had, which I did not order!!. I had four plans that I DID NOT ORDER!! I did not purchase those items! The only reason I gave this review one star is because it was easy to cancel all of these policies and get my money back. The policies (four of which I did not instigate) came to $578.53. Some of these policies went on for three or four years. How did these policies get put on these items? The only one I’ve ever done is the LG refrigerator. And furthermore all of them had an old address that we haven’t lived at in nine months in a different state! If you have a Lowe’s warranty check on it and see if you have other warranties that you may have and not know about. You may be surprised to see what you have and the money you have coming back!

People see you coming to ask the question on where a product is and they run the other way. Finally you find all the stuff you need. I had about two grand worth of product.five people working at the self check out watching you check it out. I left all the product there, and walked out. I will never shop there again.

Hello I'm writing you in regards to one of your employees at the Carson City Nevada store.

My wife and I were in today on Sunday December 8th. My wife was shopping for house plants as I went up to a young blonde employee in your garden center and asked her where to locate lava rock. She looked up on her hand held and said isle 26 and walked away. I walked to isle 26 and it was BBQ stuff. I walked up to her again and said that was the wrong isle and she rolled her eyes and said "then we're out" over her shoulder as she walked by. At this point her complete lack of customer service and rudeness caught me by surprise.  I walked to the garden center, looked for the bags of soil and found the pallet full of lava rock. While we did find it on our own a simple bit of guidence and attention from your employee would have been greatly appreciated. Her rudeness at this point irritated me but figured she would like to be informed where the product was in her own department for future customers.

As I went to check out, I found her by the self check out lines talking with another employee. I told her that we found the lava rock and before I could finish my sentence she barked at me "it's on isle 26". I told her no it wasn't, and since she didn't help my husband, she should know where it was. She then cut me off again yelling at me that "it's not my problem and she was helpful." I repeated she was not and she rolled her eyes and cut me off again saying "whatever" as she walked away on us for the 3rd time. I then called out loudly "what is your name" She glanced over her shoulder, gave me a dirty look and mumbled something to the effect of "Embry or Debra"but again, I could not verify as she was walking away.

I understand that employees can have a bad day but to be so blatantly rude, unhelpful and disrespectful on the sales floor in front of a lot of people and other employees was unacceptable. I don't know what your training protocol entails but I would assume that her behavior is not approved.

Now on the other hand, your self check out employee "Meda" I believe, was absolutely lovely. She was super helpful, pleasant and friendly. You should have her teach customer service to your less than lacking employees and give her a raise.

Due to this frustrating experience, even with the temptation of a military account, I do not think we will be using your company from this point on.

Worst purchasing experience of my life, bought a dishwasher for delivery and haul away, stayed home on scheduled day, they showed, realized the unit was broken, and rescheduled for following Tuesday, I stay home, they call on Tuesday and tell me it’s out of stock, they will call to reschedule when it comes in, 3 weeks later I get notified they canceled my delivery and haul away and it’s waiting at the store to be picked up, refused to make it right, cancelled order will not deal with them again.

There service is the worst ,no one to help most every single time, also one one in Carson city ever answers the phone try hiring staff to answer
My issue not one manager ever called me back at the store on Fairview or at corporate.they say they will but they lie many times I called corporate and no manager ever is available they insist one will call that never happened they Said the actual store manager would call that was a lie to and since they never responded to my
Damage claim a small sum but the principal of the be matter I can't get a resolution they just are the most unprofessional group of people I've ever encountered I gave up but I won't ever shop there oh and andreaasdt manager had in the beginning heard my complaint and said she'll call back she did not she was even as I spoke one single word her body language said and her tone that she did not give a damn ,she made excuses
She and all the levels of management are atrocious I'm done with these clowns there 3rd rate failures I shop at other places like home depot .
Hope they go brokebi no ever got a refund

Went to Lowes for new carpet in July, went over the seam placements with their staff as I wanted my seams placed in a certain location. Went thru many days for measuring, estimate, etc. Scheduled my installation around a surgical procedure my husband was having as I wanted it installed beforehand. Well, came out to install the carpet and did not have the correct amount of carpet for the seam placement that I chose and did not have the correct drawing or pad. This is after my husband and I, who are elderly, by the way, had moved out all of our furniture from the house. So, had to re-order the carpet and pad, had to wait for it to come in, and to get it installed. Now, after approximately 3 weeks after it was to be installed originally, I am still waiting for my carpet to be installed. Every time I call the flooring Dept at the Lowe's in Carson City no one answers, ever.
Thank goodness for the professional people at Keller who contract with Lowe's to install the carpet. They have been wonderful and so helpful. I think Lowes couldn't care less.
I will no longer do business with Lowes. I think Home Depot will appreciate by business more.

This morning I went to purchase some lumber that I needed cut down to size. I spoke to two employees; one said that he would call for some one to assist me; the other (Isaac?) said that he would help me in a couple of minutes, but then went outdoors to move items with a fork lift and never returned. After 15 minutes had passed I went to the Pro Service desk to complain. Eric at the service desk was also rude and tried to ignore me. But another man at the service desk finally agreed to help me. Very poor customer service at this Lowes. Since they do not value their customers it will be very easy for me to try Home Depot for my future needs.

Went to lowes to purchase an air conditioner and a vacuum. I asked at customer service if they had someone to help with the air conditioner. The young man said he would call someone. We waited 20 to 30 minutes. In that time I looked up Home Depot and they had what we wanted. I told the young man that no one had come to help us and we were going to Home Depot. He just shrugged and said ok. They lost an $800.00 dollar sale.

The only reason I'm giving 5 stars is because of Michael that was working in the paint department today. He has excellent customer service skill, he is completely knowledgeable of the products in the store and he went above and beyond today. Customer service and curbside is completely lacking. They stand there and let the phone ring. Order pickers need a manager to check their work after each order has been picked. After curbside and going back to the store twice, Michael from the paint department got my curbside order correct. Took 3 1/2 hours. Complete waste of my time. Do better guys!!

I have shopped here for years since it is the closest hardware store to my house but I will not be back and I have cut my Lowe’s pro card up. I was emailed a coupon by Lowe’s so I went and tried to use it, it didn’t work. The cocky manager scanned her own coupon, while being condescending to the cashier, and said we were good to go so I trusted it. I got to the truck and loaded up, then looked at the receipt and the coupon was not applied. I walked right back in to the pro desk and they told me I needed to speak with customer service so I went over there and the line was to the door. I walked back to the pro desk and the employees were too busy talking amongst themselves to acknowledge me. I used what I absolutely needed that day and returned the rest of the items. I will drive the few extra miles to one of the 2 Home Depots in town just to avoid this place. Years ago, I used to call it Blowes and yesterday I was reminded why.

Update after Lowe’s response: Still awful. I went in there to buy 3 bags of sand because I was in the shopping center already. There was 1 person in line in front of me. 15 minutes later I was still in line being watched by other employees not helping the one cashier. At least Blowes stays consistent over the years.
