1. I'm really disappointed in that i didn't confirm what was included on replacing a glass door on my Leer caper shell. When they say "everything gets replaced" doesn't mean everything. 2. Now it's an additional $250 to have a plastic piece replaced. 3. The ovalall attitude is less than friendly, not rude, just not friendly. 4. They we 35 minutes late for a 1:00 appointment.

These guys are AWESOME. We ordered our AF 1140 and we were ready to go 2 weeks later- including a hitch upgrade to accommodate a stinger for our sxs trailer. Kent knows this business and is so easy to work with. The pricing is fair, the work is solid and the whole experience was above and beyond. 10/10 operation

Walked into the shop this afternoon, great shop. Well displayed, they had the decked bed slide I wanted to buy, also smart caps. Hands down great selection.

But the customer service was the part that got me. I had to ask for help with 3 employees at the register, the one customer was leaving.

Asked about the smart cap, how much, he said $4,295 and continued sitting down. Didn’t ask me if I had questions, any accessories I wanted to add. I

Left pretty disappointed. I will be headed to Reno I guess to get a smart cap, decked bed organizer, front bumper, winch, leds.

As a business owner please greet everyone. Never judge a book by its cover please. Referrals are key to success.

I came in with the Colorado, at 2:45 Thursday, April 3rd. The gentleman employee chatting with an old timer, gave the customer 4 items. He said please give us a good review.

In closing I was going to spend well over 10k with a smile on my face, left very disappointed.

We’ve been using Custom Truck of Carson City for 5 1/2 years now with great results! We brought our Ram 1500 in today to diagnose that one of my electric retractable running boards was not going up but stuck in the down position. When I dropped it off I told them you’ll probably have to replace the electric motor. They diagnosed it very quickly, then called me and said it was done and when I went to get it they told me it was a bad wiring connection and fixed it. They said it was no charge, they could have taken advantage of me by selling me a brand new motor and labor to install it but didn’t! These guys are very honest and did the job quickly, I would highly recommend them! Mike

When I called to get a quote to install a trailer hitch, I was asked if this was for a bike rack or trailer. I stupidly assumed the point of this question was if you said trailer, they knew you needed the electrical wires installed as well. I went to pick it up today and no wires. Now I have to waste time going somewhere else to get this added.

My wife and I were shopping for truck campers and we landed at Custom Truck Accessories due to their large inventory, variety and quality brand names. We ended up working with Kent and the experience was 5 star from start to finish. He patiently answered all of our questions without being pushy at all, had a great feel for what our needs were and even showed us other options we had not previously thought of. This turned out to be a great move because we ended up purchasing something that we weren’t previously considering, but something that checked more of the boxes we were looking to fill. The out the door price was less than we were expecting to spend, which gave us a little more freedom for some add ons. Lastly, the communication has been great, even after completing the purchase. I would definitely put Custom Truck Accessories high on your list if you’re looking for a new camper.

I live in Sparks. I picked up a 2023 wolf creek 890 from them. Now I have them working on my truck doing a 6 inch lift. I could get that done right down the street. They have been good to me, so worth the trip. High five to Kent!

Wow - absolutely great service, help and advice! We’ve been looking at campers for a while and saw a Wolf Creek at CTA that we’ve never been in so we took a 5+ hr trip and were sold in the camper and CTA; especially with Kent.

They not only worked with us on pricing of the camper but had very reasonable pricing for the accessories and work on the truck.

Custom truck installed a receiver hitch and brake controller on my Palisade. The install and product is much better than what we had gotten with U-haul with our last vehicle. Since the install, the brake controller unit malfunctioned randomly and they replaced with a new unit, no charge. Recently we needed our ball replaced on the weight distribution hitch as we couldn’t get it off and they were able to do this for us on a whim, no charge. Overall, these guys are super easy to work with, will get the job done, and go above and beyond.

My family has purchased all of our custom truck accessories for from Custom Truck in Carson City. The technicians always do a fantastic job. I have purchased a lift kit, new exhaust, a light bar and new black taillights. Everything I have purchase is high quality truck parts. They don’t sell knock off parts. setup, that's my man get In there and see Dan. I had no idea which tires would work best with my lift without rubbing. And he had all the info.

I am really impressed with guys at Custom Truck Accessories. I bought my Leer Camper Shell from them 5 years ago. Had a problem with it. They called up Leer, and sent my shell away for some warranty work. Leer is also impressing me with there follow through.

Oh man I can't say enough good about this shop and their staff. Even though my truck is not the newest Dan the manager knew all about it. It's already lifted and I didn't do the lift so wasn't sure where to start upgrading and what would fit steering gear and suspension wise. Dan knew exactly what I needed with one quick inspection and sold me all the correct fitting stuff I needed. Will be back here every time I need aftermarket accessories for my truck!!!

I was at the car wash down the street from custom trucks here in Carson City and after finishing with my car wash decided to stop in and see what they have since I had never been in the store previously. Im a girl and didn’t know exactly what direction to go with my 1st truck style wise for a lift and wheels and tires and such so i ended up here with Dan at custom truck accessories. Came in with a friend for some help with his truck build and ended up getting some great ideas from Dan (the manager I believe) for my own truck. Ended up buying a couple of the NEBO rechargeable LED flashlights and making plans for some other work on, and accessories for, my truck to be installed. GREAT place tons of stuff to choose from and Dan had some great ideas for upgrades to my truck also!! Great experience and super knowledgeable staff!! 3 thumbs-up from me!!!

This shop provided me with great customer service and product! I ordered window and hood wind deflectors for my F350. Once installed, I really didn't like the look of the window wind deflectors. So, I explained this to the manager (Dan) and without hesitation, he ordred a different set for me and had them replaced the next day. The replacements are just what I wanted - I coudn't be more delighted. Also, I asked about two issues I was having with different needs around my existing Andersen weight distribution hitch and Thule bike rack. Between Dan and Bill, they provided solutions that worked for both issues - WOW, that is great customer service!

Had an issue with my retractable amp steps. Custom truck knew what to do and was able to acquire a new motor for the amp step in a very short time. These guys also keep you up to date during the repair to let you know how things are going. Definitely love taking my truck here for all my custom truck needs. HORRIBLE. They messed up everything they touched on my truck. I had to go back twice for them to fix it and it was still done poorly. The quote they gave me for a lift was a joke. Got the same install done for half the price at a better facility. I will never go back.

Had a 3 1/4 Suspension Lift installed on my Jeep TJ. Friendly, knowledgeable staff assisted with product selection. Competitive prices on quality products.

DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR TRUCK. Paid $13000 for a lift kit, after 2 months lift kit started falling off. Drag link broke, lost all steering. Bolts came off traction bars. Asked them to fix my headlights and trailer harness. Did not tell me it wasn't fixed untill I already paid. Guess they dont know much about cars. Then don't tell someone your going fix it. Got random ticks and noises ive never heard before. This place is a complete joke

I had a small gouge in my spray in bed liner. I somehow gouged it but they warranted it and were very happy to stand behind their work!

Had a hidden winch installed and they did a great job. My first time here and will be back for more custom modifications.

I had some suspension work done and a replacement trailer plug installed. Made an appointment and Kent was ready to go when we got there! Estimated about 2.5 hours but ended up just short of 2 hours. Everything appeared to be working properly when we left to go back to our RV in South Lake Tahoe. The next day, when we hooked up our RV, we noticed that the right turn and brake light was not operational on the RV. A quick call to them and we pulled the RV to their store where everything was sorted out quickly. They even found a blown fuse in the trailer braking system and replaced that at no extra charge! Kent and Wes are stars! If you have need for truck accessories or a new RV, be sure to visit them first!

Cool Operation Here, I came by to pickup a will call order and was taken care of with everything ready to go, and also helped me with parts estimate for our New Car Dept.

The service was outstanding and the staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to take care of their customers. We were in Lake Tahoe for 5 days vacay and stopped by the Custom Truck Accessories to inquire about my husband's truck tonneau cover when they told us that they can bring it from their other location In Reno and install it they very next day.

Kent and the entire team of experienced installation techs are incredible to work with. We recently had quite a bit of suspension work and accessories completed and we were truly impressed with the attention to detail and timeliness of all that was done. There are many challenges these days with supply constraints and skilled staff but these guys rise above it in every way possible and we really appreciate working with them.
