I recently needed to replace my hot water heater. I went to the Farmington store found what I wanted, but I needed somebody to install it . The company that I was going that was going to do the installation had a representative call me. He asked for a pertinent in information and had me take pictures of my old heater and the connections and everything it would take to install the new hot water heater. it up.I took pictures of all the fittings, etc. The representative informed me that he didn’t need to come to my house to tell me what the estimate would be so the next day I received a link to view my estimate it was for 2200 and something dollars and that didn’t include the cost of the hot water heater Can you tell me how that’s even a fair price to pay?

We are wanting to redo our counter tops. I picked this from the big display only to find out that they can't get any of these materials anymore. I asked why do you display products that you cannot sell? The answer was "they" won't let us take the display down.
Lowes needs to do better. If you Donnelly something, don't display it!!

I was prepared to purchase a new refrigerator and dishwasher. I had to contact their customer service to get some help with preapproved financing. I had already done the work and had been approved for up to $12,000. all I needed was some information and It was A total waste of my time. The person that answered the phone could not speak English fluently enough to understand what I needed. How the hell does this happen? You are in the United States of America for God sake. Hire some American speaking customer service people. I am actually going to purchase from a local appliance dealership that has been in their family for years. I will never even go into a Lowe's again.

Waited 40 minutes for someone to retrieve 1 sheet and of 1/4 " drywall after our wait we were told to clear the isle so they could retrieve something else. But not our drywall. Don't worry Lowe's I'll never trouble you with another purchase again. Won't be long before this store closes for lack of customer service

I’d like to share some feedback about a disappointing experience my husband and I had at checkout during our recent visit to your store.

We were purchasing several deck blocks, but unfortunately, the ones we selected didn’t have barcodes. The employee at the register, named Jonathan, informed us that there was no way for him to ring them up without a barcode. Rather than offering to find the price or call for assistance, he simply stood by while my husband had to walk all the way to the back of the store to check the price himself — even though there were no other customers at the checkout.

To add to the frustration, when it came time to pay with a gift card, Jonathan again said there was nothing he could do and pointed us to the customer service desk without offering any real help or courtesy.

We understand that issues come up, but we were surprised by the lack of effort to assist us, especially when the store wasn’t busy. We hope this feedback can help improve the level of customer service provided, as we generally enjoy shopping at your store.

Sadly the service in the store at appliances was great . I placed an order for a washer a dryer and a refrigerator.. it was scheduled to arrive on the 12th. I stopped receiving texts for arrival so I called. They let me know, it was rescheduled to the 26th because the dryer was not there from the manufacture. I let them know that was too long of a wait. They told me to call back early on Monday. I called and I was in the phone for 30 mins trying to speak with someone. The customer service lady let me know dryer had arrived. She then put me through to speak with someone. I have been on the phone over thirty min on hold and hung up on and called back. I don’t understand how not even a manager cannot answer a phone call. At this point she took down my number for someone to call me crack, At this point I think I will be getting a refund and purchasing elsewhere.
Nobody called back and it is 4 so I called again and spoke to a manager Sherry and she was rude and had the nerve to say I was yelling at her, which I did not do. She said she couldn’t hear me so I spoke louder. Then she used saying, I was yelling at her to justify her rudeness. And told me dryer was not in yet when this morning said it was. This place is horrible. I just wanted someone to have an answer.

Just the absolute WORST of retail. If this clown show spent half as much on staffing as it does in corner cutting, security cameras, and operational profit shaving, I wouldn't have to check out my own overpriced crap, or wait in lines down the aisles because no one is there. There is just soooo much wrong with this dumpster fire that it defies listing. The store, especially in the lumber end of the store, looks like someone threw a concussion grenade in the thing, crap everywhere except where it should be. Obvious profit grabbing by virtue of the absent/clueless staff, deplorable inventory, chaotic store, hyper-surveillance making one feel like in a prison, horribly "mismanaged", and nonsensical greedy pricing on partitioned items. A 2' precut piece of rebar cost the same as a 10', a 2' section of plywood cost the same as the entire piece IF you can find one or someone to cut one. There is NO competent oversight in the store, no continuity in communication, no due diligence, and every reason for the place to have a 4.1 rating, actually it should be a 3.1. I know this, I hate Home Depot, but after my last depressing experience in there today, this Lowes store just made me a HD regular again. The difference between HD and this clown show is worlds apart, and even Walmart makes me less regretful and depressed to have visit than this Lowes store. What is going on there isn't sustainable and I see this particular Lowes having to close within a year, or at least it should do the city a favor and shut down.

The Customer Service is pathetic here. Waited in line for a while only to be bypassed multiple times by “so called Customer Service” employees. One employee finishes with the person in front of me then precedes to get on the phone. After they hang up they walk away. Other employee finishes with their customer and starts to help another customer from the other side that just walked up. Just left me waiting there. This is sadly not the first time I had this happen to me or have witnessed happen to others.

I go get my items.I scan them out.The lady checks my receipt.Give me a break she just stands around and does nothing.. From now on, my carts will sit in the parking lot.Where my vehicle is you guys can go get them tell the lady that stands around the registers to go do it..PS . I hope I never Injure myself scanning stuff out.Cause I was never trained..

The staff here are very helpful and pleasant. The store is always clean and organized. I just love how even if a staff member is busy doing something, if you say excuse me and ask for help... they immediately forget whatever they were doing and eagerly assist you.

We ordered Patio furniture and had Lowe’s assemble. It was ready exactly when they said it would be. Q and Chuck made the check-in and pickup so easy. During the short wait time at least 4 people stopped to ask if I needed help. This store has great service.

First off, there are no carts anywhere. All the carts are being used by employees so there are none available for customers. Then, self check out slaps you across the face and you have to process your own transaction. Fine, I'll do your job. But then the three employees standing there watching me suddenly accused me of theft and said I didn't scan a toilet, which I didn't even have. Then a lady grabbed a faucet and said I was trying to steal it. I had scanned that first and she insisted I didn't and I was attempting to steal it. I showed her on the screen where it was already scanned. She said she didn't see it. She never apologized and they stood there hovering over me until I finished because they were certain I was a thief. I spent $640 this trip and guess what? I paid for all of it. If you don't trust your customers how about you open a register. And when you make a mistake try apologizing. It was almost as bad as Walmart and I quit going there 7 years ago. Maybe it's time to start using Hone Depot. Lowe's has gone down hill fast and after today I'm done. It was the worst experience I've had shopping since Walmart, 7 years ago.

Very dirty store.. Nothing is organized. The place smelled of stale cigarettes. On top of it all, they sold us a freezer, which was online for $300 less. Tried to get a hold of the Manager. That didn't happen, they kept hanging up on us. We called the corporate offices, they did not help us out at all, despite being there, "Low Price Guarantee.". I think we will be going to Home Depot in the future...

I have never been so disappointed, I purchased freezer with help of customer service clerk because couldn't get answer in appliances, all went well and was promised delivery today 12/28/24. When I called to ask approximate time my date was 'modified to 1/8/25, no explanation, what I was told were a lot of conflicting stories. I could never speak with a manager, I eventually canceled and purchased somewhere else and was hung up on when asked for a confirmation #. I truly believe I will never grace their door again and my rewards card is shredded

My husband and I bought a washer and dryer from Lowe's, and paid for installation. They were delivered and set up. Washer was never leveled. Was apparent immediately. Called Lowe's approximately 2 weeks later, associate said he would schedule someone to come and adjust, and would call me back. No call back. Called Lowe's in follow-up a week later. Spent over 30 minutes trying to reach a manager -- call rung on, then on hold, then dropped. Repeatedly. Finally spoke to "Troy". He wasn't very sympathetic, to say the least. Said they contract with third parties to delay/install, so not Lowe's fault. Told him, they contract with them, thus, they represent Lowe's. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Will never do business with this Lowe's again.

So disappointed in our local Lowes. I had no help, or was not offered help. One gentleman near plumbing looked at my list and told me to go outside to garden, which wasn't at all what I needed. Everything i needed was in plumbing. I had about a handful of guys go past me a few times and was not offered help.

Maybe you wouldn't have so many angry customers that you have to put up a sign about treating your associates with respect at your Paint section if you would just have people respond to the button when called and not make them wait 30 minutes especially with 7 associates just standing at the self check out staring at you not helping if you need 7 associates to watch the check outs like everyone is thrives get rid of self check out

An employee of Lowe's needs highest commendations. She was very helpful and knew much more than we did on the item we were needing. She was very patient with us and answered all our questions. She was very calm and clear on making sure we knew just about everything of importance on our item. I commend her on her pure customer service skills. She may have had other things to attend to but took time to make our visit more comfortable.

First of all. A family friend had their car hit in the Lowes parking lot, it’s Farmington NM so obviously the driver left without giving any info. My friend asked lowes if they could look at the security footage to see who hit them, and Lowe's refused to help. So I guess that means Lowe’s is pro hit and run, and anti consumer. So sad.

That happened a few years ago which I thought was BS, but yesterday I went into Lowe’s at 4 in the afternoon. Apparently that was nap time for the entire staff since no one was around to offer any help. I had to go to the self checkout There was an older lady there and a young girl there (unfortunately I didn’t get their names) the young girl obviously did everything she could to avoid eye contact with me in hopes she wouldn’t have to do her job. When I was about 2 feet away from her she finally looked at me. I said “I need help to find this part” she asked where I would be in the store. I told her I had already looked for 30 minutes and couldn’t find it so I have no idea. She called for help…. This is when things went from bad to worse. Marcus with the woo tang clan “W” tattoo on his neck, aka the rudest person to ever have a customer service job walked up to me. Without actually helping he just pointed to a side of the store and said it’s over there. I went, looked, it wasn’t there. I went back to the no eye contact girl tried to get her to do any amount of work, she called rude woo tang clan neck tattoo having, unprofessional, and unhelpful Marcus back. After waiting 5 minutes for him to slothly walk 10 feet he gave me a rude look then pointed in a different part of the store I had already looked at for the first 30 minutes. So ultimately I wasted my time since they didn’t have the part, I interrupted their nap time since the few people working acted like I, the customer, was inconveniencing them, and I left in a terrible mood. There were four people I talked to yesterday. Marcus, the young native girl at the self check out at 4:30, and older lady at the self checkout yesterday, and a guy named Bob. Bob and the older lady at least had a decent sense of customer service and should be kept on the staff. The other two, Marcus with woo tang clan “w” on his neck, and the young girl at the self check out either need to be written up, get training on how to be a decent human being or customer service, or just be fired. They looked like they wanted to fight me the whole time which I think was extremely unprofessional.

My husband spends a lot of time and money at the Farmington Lowe’s. Today we visited the store in search of a new dishwasher. We were greeted by associate John Meadows who was extremely friendly and helpful. Ultimately we ended up deciding to order the dishwasher online because the online price for the exact model was $70 less when ordering it online vs the store. Even though he knew we were opting to order online, he did everything he could to assist us and answer all of our questions. It is disappointing that we could not complete the order with such a competent and valuable employee as John.

Carly, a store manager, was such a wonderful help today! She assisted us in selecting outdoor furniture for Masada House, a nonprofit home in Farmington for women in recovery. Carly helped us stretch our small budget by showing us furniture that was marked down and still managed to have exactly what we needed to provide a nice outdoor space for the residents. She went above and beyond to help us and we appreciate the excellent customer service.

Terrible online ordering and pickup service. This isn’t the first time I’ve waited over an hour for my order. They can’t find it then there’s not enough employees then whatever other excuses they can give. It would have saved time to just go into the store myself. Do not use the online pickup it’s not convenient and doesn’t save time.

Haven't actually been to this store (I live 100 miles away...), but ordered from them on-line. Plenty of email and text updates on my order status, and they delivered on as promised within their specified time window.

Will never order online again. I ordered because it said ready in less than 3 hours. My boss was going to pick it up for me. Almost 8 hours later still not ready and now no way to pick it up. It's false advertising. Call to talk to a manager and they don't answer after being transfered. I opted out of delivery after it said same day then changed to almost a week later after I chose that option. And it didn't take the same day delivery charge off. Again false advertising.

Had a 12 pm delivery from Colorado DC. My trailer was floor loaded so I checked in around 0930 to try and help them get it unloaded earlier bc it was floor loaded and the manager cleared some space and let me dock an hr latter. Excellent experience delivering. No one bothered me while I parked over night on lumber side entrance along guard rail. Thank you all for the great job. The recieving manager Cheryl and her team are awesome, this is the type of team that deserves recognition. Thanks again for the fast and friendly service. I can't believe how far down customer service fell in 5 years. I rate this place 0.025 today. For 17 minutes, I waited for Marty to get off the phone to assist me. Not once did he acknowledge my presence. Maybe because I am an elderly handicapped Native American, I was so rudely ignored. At the end, another pro-sales specialist came up but started assisting another customer that was behind me and another gentleman. We both left. Management needs to look into this. But of course, customers complain nothing happens. No follow-up, no apologies.

This review only applies to the appliance department. Unfortunately, it reflects on Lowe's as a whole. I have purchased a washer and dryer at this Lowe's, and recently purchased a set of pedestals for them. On both occasions promises were made at the point of sale that were not kept--on the second, the pedestals it started out being about installation being part of the delivery cost. It wasn't. Since I first addressed this issue I have called more times than I care to count--no one from the appliance department has ever called me, in spite of multiple promises to do just that. They have given times and names but have never one time followed through.That is inexcusable. If they can't do it, they shouldn't make promises.

What they HAVE done: One poor lady at the far end of Customer Service did call me, though she never made any promises. She relayed all of the great things a manager said he would do--including contacting me. The manager didn't contact me, however somebody refunded the delivery cost and took a discount off the product price. The total will not cover my cost of installation.

Sadly, this means I just can't take their word for anything. If it isn't in writing, it doesn't count. I haven't had to deal with Lowe's this way in the past, and as a veteran I appreciate the special treatment they give vets--so I hate leaving this review, but I also hate empty promises.

I have not seen any indication they are taking any action to remedy this problem, even though they are apparently aware of it and have been for some time. It isn't only me.
