Good estimate. Able to start job soon after accepting. Crew was polite, professional, and got the job done in less than a day to install: 1) solar powered attic gable fan, 2) blown-in attic insulation, and 3) crawl space bats. Thank you Koala!

I'm delighted with the service I received from Koala. They added in a foot of insulation and a solar-powered fan in our attic crawl space. Koala is the only company I found that offers a fan. Apparently, in the summer, our attic can reach up to 160 degrees F! But now, with the insulation and fan, it should only go up to 110 degrees, making it far, far more efficient to cool (and heat) properly. We noticed an immediate difference, and I am very grateful. Great work! The consultation was scheduled quickly and the consultant was very thorough, knowledgeable, and transparent. The team that came out for insulation and solar vent installation was efficient, they kept me updated about what they found and did, including a photo walkthrough at the end. We had a very challenging project for these guys (a geodesic dome), and when spray foam didn't look like it would work they very quickly shifted gears to a product that would work better. They rescheduled us immediately and had the work done in a day and a half. Very pleased with them helping us tackle this space!

From beginning to end this company has been great to work with. They are organized, reasonable, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. When I asked for a specific date for them to come out, they booked it, reminded me, worked with my electrical installers to make sure everything would be ready, and re-verified everything prior to arrival. When they got here, they explained the process again. They taped everything they didn’t want to get the foam on, including all of the open studs, windows, doors, and floors. They sealed up the opening when they were inside to make sure that no one came in that didn’t belong. They did a great job filling in all of the gaps, and they cleaned up everything when they left. Stellar work, nice crew, excellent price.

Amazing product from professional installers.
Ask lots of questions prior to installation and make sure you have everything understood in advance. Keep in mind dry time when you need to stay somewhere else for 24 hours so build in a vacation and trust them to get everything done.

Koala did a great job of add insulation to my attic. They did the job and left no mess behind. They even alerted me to a small spot in my attic that could allow water in and explained how I could fix it. I liked that they handled all the paperwork for the NM rebate.

The Koala team just rocked out our little project! We enclosed a porch for a second office and noticed it was colder than the rest of the house. After thumping on the ceiling it sounded as hollow as could be. Koala quoted us on a Wednesday afternoon and had a team out Thursday morning and what a difference! The room is finally staying the same temperature as the rest of the house, it's so nice. Glad we found Koala and they even came all they way down to Belen as well!

Danny and Charles arrived on time as scheduled. They assessed the attic areas of our home, and one area was too confined to add insulation. Doing so would compromise adequate ventilation, therefore they recommended not trying to add insulation to that specific area. The two other sections of the attic were fine. They also installed a solar powered attic fan. The install was clean. They then blew in the additional insulation to get our attic to R-60 level. After completing the work, they did a good job of cleaning up the access areas in the house.

Ivan evaluated our insulation needs perfectly and didn't oversell me. Josh did an amazing installation job; insulation and solar vent. On time, courteous, professional, meticulous! Highly recommend Koala.

I have been so impressed with the whole team at Koala Insulation. It’s the little things that add up. I’ll be straight. I wasn’t an easy customer, as a young homeowner I wasn’t always sure of what I wanted done. That’s ok Gabe at Koala patiently answered all my questions and always helped to explain the quoting process. Mind you he first gave me an estimate over 2-years ago. I will say this, not only were they extremely patient with me, they also got back to me, which is more than I can say for many others.

Fast forward to today. We finally figured out what we needed done, and the team showed up early on installation day. Josh and the team went to work right away and really put in the extra effort. They started with helping to install vents in my soffits that I’ve been needing. Then they moved up to the attic and methodically air sealed everything and blew in a great new blanket of insulation.

So far the work has been worth it. I’ll know even more in the coming months as we dial in our comfort levels and take a look at our utility bills. Thank you Koala for all your patience and your help. You guys really went above and beyond!

Joshua was great ! He and the team did a great job . He offered us advice on what we could do to continue home improvement outside of his line of work. absolutely amazing! I am generally a DIY kinda guy, and I could not be happier that we chose to hire Koala for cleaning out and replacing our old insulation! We had some pretty rough and tiny crawl spaces where critters had made quite a mess and stunk the place up. Koala’s guys came out early and got after it! They were very professional and worked their tails off until the job was done. Afterwards, they did a great job cleaning up from the job. We were very impressed and grateful from start to finish.

They were the only ones willing to give me a very rough estimate, so I knew what I was getting into. I called them a few months later for an official estimate. I couldn't afford it at the time. We recently had Koala Insulation insulate the two attics of our house in Albuquerque. They did a great job from start to finish! I want to do a shout out to Koala Insulation for coming to Los Alamos to remove the old insulation from the attic space in the new home I just purchased. Ivan and Josh were kind, friendly and professional. Josh arrived quickly and him and his team did a fantastic job. They even cleaned up after themselves which was amazing. A huge shoutout to Koala Insulation of Albuquerque and Santa Fe. They came to my home in Las Cruces from Albuquerque to remove all the insulation in our attic. Unfortunately, all the insulation had been contaminated by feral cats and a family of raccoons. It took 2 1/2 days and working tirelessly in 93 to 96 degree weather outside so you can only imagine the heat they endured in that smelly attic. They successfully completed this job with no complaints and utmost care & courtesy of our home. We couldn’t be more pleased with a job well done from Koala Insulation.
