I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Tesuque Stucco was so outstanding that I felt compelled to share. As the owner of a neglected 1973 adobe home, I knew I had a huge project on my hands. The stucco was peeling away, and there was significant water damage – it was well beyond the need for simple repairs; I needed a complete overhaul and fresh stucco.

From my very first meeting with Matt M., the sales contact, I knew I was in good hands. Matt was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and gave me the confidence that Tesuque Stucco was the "show up and get it done" team I wanted. He clearly understood the extensive repairs my home required.

Throughout the entire process, the office team was phenomenal. They were on top of details, coordinating schedules, and keeping me informed.

Then came Felipe and his stucco crew, who truly exceeded my expectations. They were not only great to work with but also moved through the extensive repair and re-stucco process diligently and with incredible skill. They transformed my adobe into something beautiful and structurally sound.

Tesuque Stucco is a wonderful company to work with. We got 3 bids that were all fairly close in price before selecting Tesuque. Our sales rep, Ashton Tarry, sold us on the company. He was great at communicating with us, explaining the process and our options before any work started. He worked with our schedule and was available throughout the job. Tesuque’s office manager Jordan Walls was also great at communicating to me about the job and when the crew would be at the house during the different phases of the job. The crew, headed by the foreman named Benito, got the job done in less time than expected. Benito was responsive to my requests. His crew worked efficiently and neatly for the 5 days they were here. Benito and his men quickly took care of any minor fixes I noticed during our final walkthrough. And once completed, the finished house looks great - it’s only been a few hours and I’ve already gotten compliments from neighbors. If you need stucco work and want to deal with a responsive company, choose Tesuque Stucco.

After a bit of a rocky start, Jordan, Juan, Gethen, Junior and his crew saved our project. And we are SO glad they did because the finished product is absolutely beautiful! Once we established the right point people for communication, everything went very smoothly and we cannot criticize the craftsmanship. These guys know what they are doing and each phase was explained, executed and inspected before the next. We went with a different color, which was a little nerve wracking but Jordan was so helpful and patient in getting us to the perfect shade. The crew worked very hard and were always careful with our home and our dogs. Would definitely recommend.

Tesuque just finished working on our home. They did an excellent job. Their reps communicate better than most other home contractors we have used (and sadly, we have had to use many). They reached out to us regularly at the beginning of workdays and at the end of workdays to assure us that everything was on track and to see if we had questions. They cleaned up nicely each day. No unexpected additional costs or glitches. They honored the schedule we set up with them. In short, all the things about contractors that could annoy you are NOT things that they do. We strongly recommend them.

We got four different stucco estimates before deciding on Tesuque Stucco to re-stucco our home in Tijeras. Although Tesuque was not the lowest bid their degree of detail and attention was far and away better than any other company. Also, they give a 12 year warranty; other companies offer 3 to 5 year warranties.

Our contact person was Ashton Tarry. He's punctual, friendly and knowledgeable with all the detail info when giving a written estimate.

The entire Tesuque team was impressive: Jordan did the phone scheduling with a real effort made to work with her clients to make the experience easier; Javier was the daily stucco team foreman who was personable and ran an efficient team throughout the entire stucco project; Project Mgrs. Juan and Gethen were great at doing any occasional trouble-shooting if weather or other unforeseen events came up; and Junior filled in as an 'acting foreman' when Javier could not be onsite.

We always felt like we were well taken care of, kept informed of progress and expectations, and well listened to. Also, the post stucco work (clean-up) was efficient and thorough.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tesuque to friends and neighbors. Remember when getting estimates: The devil is in the details.

Tuseque Stucco did a great job from start to finish.
Matt Mossman, salesman, was easy to work with and worked hard to help us match colors and prepare us for what was involved.
The foreman, Benito, managed the day to day operations was was a delight as was the project manager, Juan. They made a point to keep the yard as clean as possible & removed their trash every day.
The whole process of re-stuccoing a house is noisy and expensive but Tesuque made the most of the process. In addition, the quality of the material & craftsmanship of the workers made us glad we chose Tuseque.

I, and my partner by FaceTime, met with Matt Mossman today and it was a wonderful and educational experience. He examined our home and then explained the type of stucco on our home, the types and differing qualities of stucco available, the special treatment needed because of the type of roof we have—the type of information we need to make decisions regarding timing of re-stuccoing, price of the job, etc. He was thorough, understanding of our concerns, and did not exert any pressure to “get it done right this minute” which was so welcome. Definitely an asset to Tesuque Stucco Company. Five star employee!

Felipe and his hard working crew did a beautiful job on our home. They arrived on time every day, were very good communicators, left the property picked up and neat at the end of each day and cleaned the dust and debris off windows and sills at the end of the job. Our salesperson, Matt, did a very good job explaining the Tesuque process and we never felt pressured to accept the bid. Matt also continued to check in with us while the work was being done and we were impressed by that.Other members of the Tesuque team checked in with us frequently as well, Jordan from the office and Gethen from the field team. Tesuque did a fantastic stucco job on our 16 year old house and we couldn’t be more pleased. We were worried about how they would handle the parapets and the cracks on our free standing privacy walls and sitting walls which were in bad shape. Omar and Juan explained the process and how they used mesh, a water proof material and a Dryvit synthetic stucco to provide superior stucco job. We were also nervous about them matching the original color before it had faded. The samples looked right but when they first applied it the color was too yellow and did not match the sample. The whole team made sure they got the color right and they did! Everyone was professional and a pleasure to work with. I may not remember everyone’s name, but the team included Omar, Alphonso, Junior, Juan, Gethen and Jordan.
We’ve gotten so many compliments on our stucco job and would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a superior stucco job that you will be proud of for years to come. Thank you Tesuque for making our house beautiful again!

A pleasant, professional experience, we couldn't be more pleased with the process and the result! We consulted with Ashton to begin; he was thorough in explaining how it would all work, gave us an estimate, helped us with color options so we could finalize our choice, and set us up with working dates. We were very pleased with the results of the restuccoing job on our house and courtyard wall. Anthony explained the process to us clearly and answered many of our questions before we asked them. They even smooothed out some uneven spots in the garden walls left over from a botched repair years ago. Our experience with Tesuque was top-notch. Ashton initially met with us to review their process, products, and costs. Victor and his team are some of the most hardworking individuals we have ever seen. They toughed out our stucco job in near 100-degree heat, finishing the stucco application with beautiful results. They even returned and power-washed the job site for cleanup and touch-ups! You often can judge a company in how it reacts to customer concerns. Tesuque rallied from a less than ideal initial treatment, and at their expense sent a team to reapply a color that better matched expectations. We chose them based on the quality of work; their work applied to our home 10 years ago looks like it was applied yesterday. When our latest job didn't have the color we expected, their service stepped up to match the quality of their craft. We recommend TSC very highly — their work is lasting, and their service is textbook professionalism.

Ashton took a look at a water intrusion problem we were having with windows. We weren't sure if it was even necessary to re-stucco our house. After a walk around the house and a good, unhurried conversation, we felt Ashton assessed the situation honestly and clearly. He helped us to understand the condition and we decided not to re-stucco. However, we are strongly inclined to use Tesuque Stucco when we do, because of our interaction with Ashton. I really believe that good relations make for good marketing for businesses and in this case it really paid off.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire process. I met with Ashton who explained everything and was very professional and pleasant. Jordan went above and beyond to get my project scheduled in a reasonable timeframe. Felipe and his crew were amazing! They’re very hard workers, cleaned up at the end of the day, and in the end left my yard better than I had it. The total service was outstanding. We just had our house in Rio Rancho completed by Tesuque Stucco. The process was very professional along the way, and they worked within our limited schedule. The entire crew led by Omar was very efficient and carried out their work cleanly and quickly. They cleaned up after each day keeping the house from looking like a construction site. Wow, what an amazing finished product. The entire team is engaged, and has been there with us through this rather stressful project. It didn't matter what day, time or who we called, Jordan and Ashton were answering our questions/calls, or calling us back within minutes. The team that prepped my home led by Junior was on point. They protected my property and addressed all of my concerns and made my home ready for the artists that followed. When I thought I was lost, out of the horizon arrives Juan, the project manager, to walk me through some of my project concerns and questions, which were all minimal in reality. Our re-stucco experience was informative, efficient, satisfying and enlightening. From the beginning with Matt explaining the entire process and what specifics to ask potential bidders, to Juan coordinating change orders, and Javier and his crew responding to questions and requests. While Tesuque was not the least expensive bid we solicited, their workmanship was far beyond what the others quoted to do. Daily interaction with the crew was reassuring of the progress and the cleanup afterwards was exceptional. We miss all the daily activity but truly can appreciate the peace of mind with the final results.

Tesuque Stucco is by far the best stucco company in New Mexico! Quality work and quality staff. Working with Juan and Victor was a joy. They made us feel comfortable and assured throughout the project.

Every worker is a seasoned professional with decades of experience – talk about overkill! When they worked on my property, they left it so pristine daily, it almost seemed like no one was there. But, who needs that? A little mess never hurt anyone, right?

Their communication is another thing they’ve got all wrong. Clear, concise, and always on point – they kept me too well informed about every step of the process. Honestly, it's much more thrilling to be kept in the dark, guessing what might happen next. And then, the final product – a house that became the envy of the neighborhood. Imagine that! Now I have to deal with endless compliments and pesky neighbors asking for referrals.

Oh, and let’s not forget the overkill of their 12-year warranty. Tesuque Stucco actually believes in standing behind their work for over a decade. Can you imagine? In a world where next year's model is just around the corner, they are committing to a product that lasts. This is utterly impractical for those who thrive on the thrill of frequent repairs and the charm of unpredictability. So, if you're someone who prefers living on the edge with your home maintenance, this excessive assurance of quality is definitely not for you. Why settle for peace of mind when you can have the excitement of uncertainty, right?

In conclusion, if you're looking for a way to spend a fortune on a flawless stucco finish that will make your house stand out, Tesuque Stucco is your go-to. However, if you prefer a contractor who does not take such unnecessary pride in their work, uses inexperienced workers, leaves a mess, hardly communicates, and ensures your house remains perfectly average, you definitely should look elsewhere. Keep those standards low and watch your savings grow – or, at least, not diminish quite so quickly!

Do yourself a favor and Call another Stucco company in Albuquerque, I am having quotes that are literally half the price with the same star reviews. Always get several quotes, don't get involved in the hype of their commercials. Don't let their sales person tell you an hour worth of info. on synthetic verses traditional. ALL stucco companies offer synthetic. Tesuque Please dont use the same excuse of a response that your not sure if I called the correct company. I am validating I did call the correct company Tesuque. You offer this crazy warranty for many years that you price into the job but if your company goes out of business it wont apply. Just like the Solar companies and roof companies offering 10-25year warranties.Stop luring people in with this type of sale tactic. Not impressed!

Ashton Tarry came out to our home to evaluate I we had a need for new stucco. He was amazing! He pointed out areas of concern and advised me that we may have 3 to 5 years left. We felt he was very professional and honest with us. I would definitely recommend Tesuque Stucco Co.

Our parapets were so damaged that the roof leaked but after repairing them, NO MORE LEAKS. Shout out to Ashton & Marten as well. They were very attentive as well. Marten came to the site several times to check on our progress. I know it was a challenge working around the winter weather but we are so happy to have it done! Thanks guys!

From the very beginning, Matt Mossman was extremely helpful and friendly to include being well versed in the process that I should expect and what kind of product they would be applying to stucco. To include Ramona at the front desk keeping me updated with schedule and what I should expect from arrival to finish. Once Tesuque started applying sealant to finish stucco coat. Foreman Omar and his crew worked throughout the day and kept the area clean and tidy and paid attention to every detail and very genuine in making sure my wife and I were satisfied, I am very happy with the final product. Initially we spoke with Ashton and his knowledge about stucco work was incredible. He was upfront and honest that once one wall in particular was power washed there may be an additional charge as this particular wall showed more damage than the rest of the house. We appreciated his being upfront so there were no surprises when the pre-stucco work was done. Amy went out of her way to decide the best alternative for us to approve the color once it was mixed as I had parent teacher conferences and was unable to run home to approve color and I appreciate how hard she worked to keep me informed and finding resolutions to the matter of color match and throughout the project. Ramona also provided on time information as there was a delay due to the rain we had received. Xavier and his crew did an amazing job both with how they completed the project and cleaned up after as well as reattaching lighting that had to be removed during the stucco project. They were very respectful in all dealings with them personally as well as how they treated our property during the project. Our home has a beautiful new look and we couldn't be happier.

Tesuque did an excellent job on my house and it now looks brand new. The old stucco was in bad shape and needed significant repairs. Ashton gave me an estimate and provided great information about what was needed and answered all my follow up questions. The office staff was good about keeping me up to date on the scheduled work. Eleazar and his crew did an amazing job from start to finish which involved rebuilding the parapets and then applying a new base and stucco finish to the whole house. I’m very pleased with the work by Tesuque stucco in refinishing the exterior of our house. I think we had a fairly large job and it was complicated by the replacement of six windows and exposed support beams on two separate patios. The overall results were of good quality, looks fantastic and I think we have a coating that will last for a long time.

The job started with estimating and I can’t say enough good things about Jesse, who handled our job. He responded quickly when we requested an estimate, did a very thorough job of measuring and checking the condition of our existing stucco and then sat down with us that very same day to review the estimate and recommended coating products. He was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions and concerns. While I knew Tesuque had a good reputation, it was really the impression Jesse made that sealed the deal. Note we got three estimates and Tesuque was the highest, although they were all relatively close and cost difference was not a significant factor.

But what I really appreciated was that Jesse was proactive in staying in contact with us throughout the job. He was very helpful and patient in the color selection process and very attentive to all of our questions, concerns and requests. There was no doubt in my mind that he wanted us to be happy with the job and would do what it took to achieve that. Although my interface with the project manager Juan and others on the office staff such as Amy was more limited, they were very friendly and I was impressed with their professionalism. For example, I always had advance notice of when crews were scheduled and they always came when promised. Anyone who has been through a big job can attest to how rare that is!

The bulk of the work on the job was completed by Omar’s crew. They repaired the stucco for all the replaced windows (which was a big job in itself), applied waterproofing on the parapets, window thresholds and canale splash zones, applied the primer and then the actual color coating. There were some very long days for the team and they were always attentive and a pleasure to work with. Omar in particular did a great job of keeping me informed, seeking feedback and taking care of my concerns. I also appreciate how well he took care of his team, especially on hot days. He’s a strong leader for his crew!

The only part of the job not handled by Omar was the repair of stucco where the exposed beams were replaced on the patios. This was handled by Victor’s crew and they did an outstanding job. The bullnose where the stucco meets the beam is highly visible and you want it to look clean and neat. I couldn’t be happier with the results!

Another thing worth mentioning. I had two other contractors working on the windows and beam replacement. This caused scheduling headaches and Tesuque had to put the stucco job on hold while the beams were replaced and then they had to come back more than a month after the job was finished to repair the stucco for a final window and then complete the color coating on the respective wall. I really appreciate that they were so flexible in working with me and completed all of the work without a single complaint.

We’ve been living with the completed work for some time now and really like how the stucco looks. We used Dryvit stucco and I was initially concerned with how rough it appeared compared to Sto. There also seems to be more void spaces where the surface doesn’t coalesce during application and I thought it might trap more dirt. But I’ve really come to like the look and so far the dirt easily washes off.

Again, we’re very pleased and highly recommend Tesuque stucco!

Let’s face it. Stucco jobs are a whole lot of work and might be the most expensive repairs one can make to their house. That was certainly our case in buying a Santa Fe property with stucco that had been poorly executed when new and after more than 20 years of neglect, needed deep and extensive repairs along with a new finish. After interviewing four or five vendors, including a couple that came highly recommended, we were very happy to work with Tesuque Stucco to seal, repair and resurface our new-to-us home.

We recently asked them to bid on repairing or replacing the stucco on our home. They sent out Ashton, who spent about an hour evaluating and explaining our situation. He was professional, knowledgeable and both listened and explained well. While he could have tried to sell us a complete stucco job, he was honest and told us we only needed some repairs. When we eventually do need a complete redo, we'll call these guys first.

When I needed to get my stucco redone I went to several companies/contractors throughout the city, and Tesuque stood out the most. Most contractors took about 20 to 30 mins to give me an estimate some with no warranty. Bryan spent 1.5hrs reviewing the property and educating me on areas of concern that needed immediate attention and areas where I would eventually need to replace. The explanation of products and them not outsourcing the work was good to know. The workers who worked under Juan and Eleazar crew were professional, on time, communicative, and just reassuring of what they would be doing. They left my new home better than when they arrived. When it came to paying the final payment Amy was so professional and patient with me when trying to transfer the money. Lastly I never thought the owner Martin would stop by during the initial startup to the final inspection and he did! That shows that owner truly cares about the reputation of his company and if I had any concerns it would be addressed. I may have paid more however you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend them! They also appreciated my service in the military. It’s the little things that put the cherry on top. When deciding a huge project please conduct research and ask questions on the products, reputation, plus they are local!
