We simply wanted to change our door from pickup to delivery. After making 4 phone calls to try to do this and being told the computer wouldn't let them do it, one employee said he would deliver a message to the manager of the door/window dept. and have him fix the problem. The manager had already gone home for the day but he was asked to call us this morning first thing. Lowes opens at 7 am. It's now $9:30am. No CALL!!! SO WE ARE CANCELLING OUR ORDER FOR A FRENCH DOOR. We were going to buy three more doors for our home, but NOT NOW!! WE WILL ALSO BE CANCELLING our Lowe's account. On to any number of your competitors! GOODBYE LOWES

This is the first bad review I have given since reviewing places on Google. I'm so sad it's come to this. Lowe's was our favorite store for over 20 years. This June, we purchased a dryer. We had very high hopes of getting the dryer we wanted. On the first delivery date, the excuse was a payment issue, which turned out to be false because they got their money via credit card. The second week was the same excuse. In the third week, they said that we had purchased 2 dryers. Today, Shawn claimed that they didn't have a delivery driver for over a month. Hum....why wasn't I told this the second or third week? My husband and I are deeply saddened that a corporation this big can't handle customer service better than this. Mike Cutler, the store manager, was supposed to call my husband back about this issue and visit with him but never did. Unfortunately, we will be going to other stores locally instead of this Lowe's from now on. You just lost 2 very good customers.

On July 13th we went Lowes. Had to wait till they opened at 8:00. We went to the patio, bought some bricks and went to checkout. The kid said they didn't open for checkout for a few more hours. Huh? Store was open. Had to push the bricks through the store to checkout. Some guy with big white gages in his ears came over, got the book and scanned the bar code. He just walked away. Not one time did he speak us or end the transaction. What ever happened to customer service snd workers being courteous to the people eho pay their wages?

I want to give a huge shout out to Pocatello Lowes! My fridge/freezer stopped working sat nite I called and was helped with a purchase minutes before closing. They double checked that it was in stock and scheduled delivery for Monday. Then the delivery was great I understand that it was a third party and they said I would receive a link to review(I have not gotten one yet) but they were so quick and nice. Thank you Memphis and Alex!!

DO NOT EVER order appliances at Lowe’s! We have ordered several items recently from Lowe’s and Home Depot. No issues at all with Home Depot, but Lowe’s has been a disaster. Delivered damaged items, deliveries delayed, no communication. The worst is a washer we ordered and paid for two months ago. It still has not been ordered from the store! They are having issues getting the order in apparently. Not my problem. If I buy something I expect to receive it!

On June 19th I bought a riding lawnmower from this Pocatello Lowes. It quickly turned into a nightmare. I needed a key and an owners Manuel for said mower before I could take it home. The employees first argued among themselves about whose job it was to find these items. But after a long while one employee came to me and handed me an owners manual for a different mower and informed me they couldn’t find the keys to it. After waiting for them long enough to know I wasn’t going to be able to take my new mower home because nobody could find the keys or the manual for the mower. I waited long enough! I made them give me a refund, and I went home without the riding mower I came to purchase. I was very frustrated and disappointed at the unprofessional behavior of the people at Pocatello Lowes. When I got home I tried to call the manager (Mike Cutler) to inform him of my experience. But evidently the person who answered the phone at the service counter was the same one I had to deal with to handle my refund, he knew of my frustration. And he must have recognized me. He first ask what this was about. So I told him it was about the riding mower I had just tried to purchase. So instead of putting me threw to the manager, he had one of his coworkers take the call while pretending to be the manager. Evidently to cover his butt. So I ended up talking to his female friend thinking I was talking to the store manager. But Mike Cutler IS NOT A YOUNG FEMALE!! And he probably knows nothing about what happened with my situation. TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE!!!

We went to our local Lowe’s establishment at Pocatello in May for buying washer and dryer setup equipments for our move. This particular store is fabulous and we found that the aisle numbers were listed on their website for ease to locate the items needed. The best part was when I needed some guidance regarding a particular purchase for our dryer. Peyton is a wonderful associate at Lowe’s, Pocatello and he helped me immensely in finding the appropriate item, took me to the right aisle, explained to me the details of the item setup and function, and answered all my additional questions. He was patient, knowledgeable, friendly, easy to approach, kind, and understanding. His every suggestion regarding the purchases worked out perfectly for our purpose. Thank you so very much Peyton for being so efficient and helpful and we (our family) appreciate your assistance and support!! He is definitely an asset for the customer service team and thank you again for this amazingly smooth, hassle-free, and effective shopping experience. Wishing you all the success in life, best regards, Arpita & Family

My husband and I came in to the Pocatello store to buy a garage door opener and had the pleasure of having a nice young man named Nate help with our purchase. Nate was very knowledgeable and had great customer service skills. Thank you for being so friendly and making our shopping experience a positive one.

I want to give a big thank you to Robert Brown, Manager at Lowe’s in Pocatello, ID, for his outstanding customer service. We needed help with a dryer vent issue, and Robert went above and beyond. Not only was he knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful—he actually finished his shift at Lowe’s and then came to our house to help resolve the issue in person. It’s incredibly rare to find that level of dedication and professionalism these days. Thank you again, Robert—you turned a stressful situation into a great experience!

The last three major purchases we’ve had have been an absolute nightmare. A kitchen remodel took over TWO YEARS to complete and the workmanship was poor—missing moldings, cabinet doors that are already cracking at the corners, and poor paint finish quality. I would NEVER use Lowe’s or KraftMaid for cabinets again. Our latest problem involved the delivery of two separate orders of appliances. The delivery drivers were great but the non-stop text messaging prior to delivery asking the same question repeatedly (and answered repeatedly), the incorrect delivery time window provided the night before and the lack of any communication on the second delivery were frustrating and time consuming. We provided delivery instructions at the time of the order (does anyone bother to read anymore?). Arrangements made to meet drivers were turned upside down with no notice when the confirmed delivery window from the night before was completely changed the day of delivery with no notice, and the staff at the store was less than helpful when called about the texts and lack of communication—basically not there problem as an outside company handles the dispatching. One employees was quite rude. Whose problem is it if not the company we are doing business with? We will never use Lowe’s for major purchases again. They used to be good but not any more. Buyer Beware!

Lowe's has improved there in store customer service from years past with employees actually asking you if you need help. I use the pro desk as much as possible being a contractor because of the individuals working there. Kavin, Jim and Stephanie have gone above and beyond to make sure I get the supplies I need. It's great to see the turn around from years past.

Today we found finding an employee to assist frustratingly difficult - the one representative I finally spotted nearby and attempted to approach with my couple questions, at first appeared to try ignoring me while he continued striding away, intently attending to his phone. But after I persisted, following, while asking "Oh hi, hello...oh hi, excuse me, can you by any chance help?" etc, he did eventually pause and look up, and then he did indeed cheerfully point us in the right direction for finding the two products we came in seeking. But then, way over in that correct aisle, we found few suitable possibilities in stock and many blank spaces.

Recently I shopped at the Lowe’s in Pocatello and had a very disappointing experience with their customer service. While the store had the products I wanted, the trouble started when I went to pay off my Lowe’s credit card. I didn’t have the physical card with me but had all the information on the app.
The employee at the customer service desk made the whole process unnecessarily awkward. He sighed heavily multiple times while I was explaining what I needed, making me feel like I was a nuisance just for trying to pay my bill. I’m not sure if he was having a bad day or if this is typical, but it left me feeling really uncomfortable. It was discouraging to feel like using the card—something Lowe’s promotes—was such an inconvenience.
This kind of customer service makes me hesitant to shop at this location again, let alone use the Lowe’s card in the future. Very poor experience overall.

I went through Lowe’s in hopes I could get my back and front exterior doors replaced. I got a quote, signed up for the credit card, and was assured it would be done 1 month, 2 months tops. Not only did it take 6 MONTHS to get anything at all into the store, everyone apparently didn’t know how to use a phone and never communicated. I’d have to call the store who knew nothing, and told me to call the installers. Call the installers, they didn’t know what was happening. Then I would call customer service and it seemed they were the only ones that ever knew what was going on. Still, I would always get told the door was taking longer. Finally the doors come in, they are going to be installed. After a half a year of waiting, I am so excited and relieved. The day starts off with them telling me they apparently don’t have my backdoor (even though it’s just a basic stock back door). Okay, fine, at least install the front door. They come, start to take apart my doorframe and then realize they can’t do it because of a structural thing. They need to order yet another door. At this point, I’m in tears. I’m so angry and so disappointed. They promise me they will be on it, this will be different, but even with my husband hounding them once a week, it’s still a month and nothing is in, nothing has changed. I call and completely cancel my order. Thank God the refund process only took a month. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life, and the only way you could ever get me to go through Lowe’s again is if you held a gun to my head.

Seriously, for your own sanity and well being, find some other contractor and get the materials yourself. I guarantee it will be done faster, cheaper, and probably better than anything Lowe’s was going to give you anyway.

We had a thanksgiving emergency this year! The night before, the oven and stove just up and quit. It was 9:15 pm, and a 30 minute drive to Lowes. We called Debbie on the way, and she said she would be waiting for us. We arrived 15 minutes before closing, and she helped us get just the right stove/oven. We even stayed a little late and they closed, but kept helping us. They loaded it up onto our trailer, and Thanksgiving was saved! Thanks Debbie! Thanks Lowes! Many of the team helped us that day -- thanks to all of you!

Visiting from out of town. The staff are friendly and the store well stocked. Unfortunately anything I liked about this store went away at check out. How many millions does this store make in a year? Not sure, but they are apparently near bankruptcy because they cannot afford to pay a cashier anymore so the the self theft out machines are the only option here. Unfortunately, I had to pick up two seperate orders for the company I am working with locally so I couldn't just walk out. There was a lady posted to make sure I don't steal anything, who could have rang up items on a register and she was pleasant. As I read through all of the text on a 20 something inch screen to make sure I didn't make any mistakes that would have me accused of anything she offered help. Unfortunately, if she makes a mistake on that machine it's legally my fault so I told her no and that if I am forced to use these damn things I will figure it out. I also let her know this kind of absurd theft of service is the reason I have started using Amazon as much as possible now. If you can't py a person to handle the most basic part of your business then drown in your greed at bankruptcy court. I may have to come back at some point this week, but it absolutely will not be to pick up any of the items I was looking at for myself and I will try to avoid it by going elsewhere. Again, the locals here seem friendly, but none of them seem to be able to get a job at a cash register. Congrats to Lowes though, you figured out how to raise your stock value by eliminating jobs and make the customer enjoy having basic service stolen from them so they risk their future with potential theft accusations. People do seem to hate people for some reason now though. Thats only been my personal experience, but it seems to be fueling this anti-people and pro-machine movement around the world. For me personally, I travel constantly and miss the days where a friendly face was there to talk to when visiting stores, the hotel life gets lonesome and miserable after a decade so I'm not naturally prone to enjoy cold and miserable shopping "experiences". Regardless, I pay you as a retailer for the items after agreeing to your price. If you learned how to manage your business properly you could afford to maintain these jobs as a service the community and still offer the "convenience" of self theft out for those who want to get pesky humans removed from the stores where they shop. I think it would be easy enough to replace customer service with a kiosk and a direct line to the store manager if issues cannot be resolved. After that, we could convert the store to a front only and utilize an automatic picking and binning system. This eliminates the need for more of the stocker jobs and all of the lower level management with the exception of one of two per shift. Then we could build a call center with bots to handle the calls from customer service, get rid of the store manager and then just go completely people-less. That should really satisfy shoppers and shareholder. Anyway good start so far...

My uncle is an amputee. He has anxiety and depression and ventured out to get some things for a project and a young lady at the store helped him get some lumber purchased and delivered. She was so kind and not only put him at ease but made him smile too. Thank you from a grateful niece.

I will definitely be going here from now on. I had three employees offer to help me find things within the first five minutes of being there. And all 3 knew exactly where the items I was looking for were. At Home Depot it took 5 minutes to find someone to help me.

Picked up an item from them today. Half the top of the box was torn and missing. Went to pick up the box and the whole top came off and the contents falling out. Also the box was covered in dirt and bird feces. Must save these items for online orders. Would have just returned it, but I needed the item and I had already stood in line for over 20 minutes waiting to be helped while employees stood around doing nothing!! This is the second time I’ve had a similar issue. Last time I ordered anything from them online again!

There is an older gentleman in the electrical section. He can help you with any problem you have. He is always kind and helpful and I just love seeing him come around to help me whenever I'm in Lowe's.

Also, some generic message from a year ago trying to be all PC. No, you messed up, and I did give you another chance. Either improve and do better, or don't. If you won't, your stupid little apology does nothing more than make me want to shop less at your store. You haven't made right what you did a year ago, and you keep declining. Your apology means less than snot to me at this point, and I'm telling everyone I know about your low grade customer satisfaction I possibly can. Gross, you are gross.

In and out fairly quickly, the staff was offering to help around most corners today...
Found some items that we'll have to order online to match our needs... Likely from Lowes website.
Got the stuff

If you want to feel like a child begging for help shop here. Along with the fact that employees will down talk to you. I wouldn't recommend shopping here. Nor do I understand how they are still in this area. Product is always damaged and they expect full price. Pack sand lowes.
