The Home Depot - Pocatello, ID

Bought this quick set concrete in bags... Opened them, and half of the bag(s) were already set. Therefore, it is unusable. Tried to get a refund and customer service was awful wouldn't even give us a store credit. Wanted us to haul back the concrete bags even when we had our receipt and picture to prove they came this way...

Lowes would never!!!

Horrible experience with the carpet installation we got from here. They told us they could rip out the carpet and then later on said they didn't but they didn't even contact us, I had to contact them when I realized multiply times when they scheduled to do it that nothing got done cause they wouldn't show up or they would show up for a second do nothing and go home. this persisted for 2 months before it actually got done. but they would not refund us the amount we had to pay someone else to rip out the carpet because they would not follow through with what they said they would do. 100% do not recommend getting any sort of flooring service from them. this all happen at the Chubbuck, ID store.

I have been a home depot super fan since my teenage days. Lately atleast at this one it's going so far down hill. Can't pay cash at self checkout so that means the only check out open is way at the other end at the busy pro desk.

Jill refused to email me a copy of my receipt, she said it can't be done even though I get them emailed all the time.

I have been lied too at this location many times, mostly involving employees being lazy.

Why is home depot forcing people to shop at lowes now, is home opener money not good enough for home depot now?

It's a great friendly place. You can find most of your home DIY supplies. The associates asked us if we were finding everything we needed. They have a better selection of wood. They're wood seems to be of better quality. The boards are straight not bowed.

Exactly what you expect to see at home depot. A huge home improvement store packed with all the right things. Staff know where stuff is and e erything is a great price.

The Home Depot and Idaho State University along with the local Building Contractors Association of Southeast Idaho put on the annual Construction Combine. The support from these 3 entities along with the support of the local National guard is an amazing event. We have been so lucky to have been apart of this since its inseption 7 years ago. wanted to give a big shout out to Home Depot for sponsoring and supporting such a great event.

I have been doing some faucet and shower replacements. While reviewing specifications for my items, Trista came over unsolicited and checked on me. I wanted to only come to the store once if possible so I can get the current project completed. I had the measurements, but wasn’t absolutely certain that the specs were correct. Trista was thorough and knowledgeable enough and consequently, I was able to go check out the items rest assured that they were the correct size. It ended up being a one stop shop experience as the installs fit perfectly and the project completed without needing to go back or make any returns.

Great ppl here always ready to help Ronnie was incredibly helpful finding me everything I needed and answering all my questions will be coming back

This place has most of what you would need for your DIY Adventures my only complaint is sometimes it's very difficult to find an employee if you need help

Won in law bought a Santa for me today. He couldn't fit it in his car so we were planning on picking it up in the morning. They sold the Santa to someone else that came in 7 hours later and then called my son in law and told him that they would refund his money. The point is that it was already sold to us. Receipt in hand. They would not even try to make it right and get another one sent to the store or even call Twin Falls for them to save one for us! Merry Christmas home depot Chibbuck you should be ashamed of your customer service and ethics!!!!!

Your associate Devin went over and above the call of duty…our hotel was in dyer need of a part that was put away for the season..he help me go through boxes to find it…he is a great asset to your company and no monetary reward would be enough for him…don’t not let a employee like that get away..trust me as a manager I know people like that are hard to find

I recently placed an online order for a shed, and had some issues when it couldn’t be found in the store. Ronnie went above and beyond to help solve the issue and had great communication with us till it was found! The shed is great and Ronnie’s customer service was excellent

Tried to get paint on Wednesday at 1:30 (10/9). No one available at desk, customer service called for someone. First call went to a phone the employee left on the counter, she then called over store speaker, still no help. As we were leaving her only comment was "sorry guys, I called". Where is customer service now days?

I am not a home owner anymore, but I enjoy my visits when I find the need to purchase items for our apartment.

Pocatello and Chubbock must have a larger theft problem than what I’m used to in Southern California. Every product over $20 is locked up in this store and it is extremely inconvenient to find someone to help. Just save yourself some time and go to ACE, instead or buy on Amazon.

Ryan was very helpful in finding the traffic cones needed by the Pocatello Marathon. There were plenty on hand and he helped me carry them our to the truck.

Terrible customer service! 1/4 associates I spoke to were helpful. The others could use a serious attitude check, Specially, the associate in customer service. 3/4 of associates treated me as if I were dumb and didn’t know what I was asking, or blind, as if I could not see the product that did not exist on the shelf.

On the Home Depot website, it lists a product that come to find out doesn’t even exist in any of the stores. I went to the plumbing section looking for a 6 inch PVC pipe. The older gentleman in that area said,” Oh, it’s there! You didn’t see it!?” I said,” No, I didn’t see it. I’m not wanting perforated pvc drainage pipes”. He assured me they were there, then walked off and vanished the second later without physically showing me where it is (it wasn’t there or anywhere).

The woman in customer service was the rudest. The customer before me was trying to return something and she was annoyingly telling him they don’t accept returns without the receipt. I doubt that’s the rule because most places will either give an in store credit or look it up based on the card used. That customer walked away upset not able to make a return. Then it was my turn. She spoke down to me and treated me like an idiot, even though I showed her on my phone, on the Home Depot website, the product listed. She kept assuring me that it was the location that I had wrong in my search; that I needed to change the location of the search to Pocatello. I didn’t necessarily care because I just wanted to either order it or find out where locally it was. She muddled some things under her breath and annoyingly typed in the SKU. Five minutes later, I figured out this wasn’t helping either. If you’d like her name, you can contact me Home Depot.

Then, on my way walking out, the front door greeter asked me if I was able to find everything OK. I said no I wasn’t able to. She asked if she could help. So I started to explain and somehow she lost interest and started talking to another customer who just walked in and did not acknowledge anything that I said after. Good thing I go to Lowe’s. What a terrible experience.

If you need help don't go to home Depot they don't know anything! The store has what you need if you have the time to look for it!!

I have given this place sooo much business in the last year. They wouldn't accept my return without a receipt or the card I used today. It was an EXPENSIVE return! Ill take my business elsewhere as much as possible from now on. UPDATE 09/11/2024- idk why I keep coming back to this place! Want to know how to get the home Depot staff to ignore you? Have purple hair! The 2 guys in electrical helped everyone besides me. Talked to everyone besides me. Greeted everyone besides me. I made eye contact and got a 'look' went to a different part of the store and asked the staff where the caulk was and he sent me to the lumber area (when it's unmistakeably on the other side of the store in a huge section. The dude obviously knew where it was and sent me elsewhere. He didn't want to talk to me. Another associate told me "ask someone else" - I know I am in Idaho and a lot of people here don't like people with long hair or purple hair. I often receive flack from the public, but to get it from associates at a store seems to cross the line. The girl at the self checkout was awesome. Only employee in the store that treated me like a human being. from 2 stars to 1.

Pocatello HD is a great place to get pretty much everything you need, & maybe a few you don't, but cannot let a good deal pass you by (always great prices, actually).
If you need assistance, & an employee is available, they do their best to help you to get what is needed, and be in your way.

I love Milwaukee tools and I buy them quite often from here. Home Depot usually has what is needed for your DIY.

Hands down the better home improvement store when compared to the others. Great help and my favorite employee is Dan Erickson!!!
