I encountered significantly less satisfactory customer service at a different establishment. An employee named Angel was unable to assist me in determining the difference between the sale price of an item that occurred a few days after my purchase. She repeatedly stated, “I can’t do that,” as if she was unwilling to help. She indicated that the online sale price on Lowe’s.com could not be honored. I informed her that the price was the same in the appliance section, but she remained uncooperative. Subsequently, I requested a manager, who confirmed that the transaction could be processed by canceling the previous purchase and re-ringing it up. I was frustrated and left, as the refund was not worth the inconvenience due to the employee’s refusal to assist. I will not return to this establishment and will instead visit Home Depot or Lowe’s at Quincy. What happened to good customer service? This lady was opposite from customer service.

Had what I needed for project, did have to drive 23 mins to another store than my store, but at least I could get it and the price was comparable to other stores. Overall good job Lowe's

Shopping is easy. Checking out is a terrible experience. No one to check you out had to go to customer service to check out. 2 boys by self check out talking to each other we asked one of them to check us out they said they couldn't. This is not the first time this has happened.

Lowe's in Hannibal use to be a great place to shop 10 years ago. It's been going downhill for years. Very few of their regular employees are helpful or friendly. Management is even worse.

I've had several bad experiences just in the last year. A lady cashier in lumber made a mistake & blamed it on me, a department manager got an attitude because I asked her where a certain tile was located, & a purchaser in lumber got an attitude with a new employee for asking a simple question.

In response to your response. You don't need to share my feedback with your Hannibal store because they already know how I feel by all the surveys I take & by the overall bad scores the Hannibal store gets on those surveys (it's posted at the front of the store). If your company prided itself on professional & reliable services as you claim something would have been done about the bad customer service years ago. This isn't just a problem that has popped up overnight. It has been an ongoing problem at the Hannibal location for years.

I continue to shop at the Hannibal store because it's the cheapest option in Hannibal. I have no problem with your products & services . I have a problem with your rude managers & employees. I usually keep my mouth shut & don't give bad feedback. But have had far too many bad experiences in Hannibal Lowe's in the past few years to keep my mouth shut on this one. So I will continue to shop here & give the store bad reviews on the surveys until I see improvement in the attitudes of management & employees. Doubt it will happen though.

Just tried to spend a few hundred dollars in gift cards at the Hannibal store.
I wont be back. Your customer service desk clerk needs to look up what customer service actually means.
The cards were having an issue going through being swiped.
Of coarse there are no actual cashiers, all self checkout except for the “lookout cashier” standing by, she goes to the service desk clerk.
I called the number on cards to verify amounts and pin numbers were good. Yes, all good.
Service clerk comes around and says, I cant verify these, they arent Lowes gift cards. Yes, I know, that is why I called and verified them myself.
Then she says, Well there is nothing I can do for you then.
Oh, Okay. If she hadnt been so rude, I would have suggested typing the cards in manually. But nevermind, your rude ass can put my items back, you can do that for me.
I will spend my money somewhere else.
P.S. I spent nearly $200 at Joanns Fabrics with those same gift cards, I know they work.

It's always clean but always hard to get someone to help you or know where something is. Much easier to go in and look up on app on phone to locate items and shop.

Called asking about piping for a water main. I was told they had the blue poly, when I got there I was told they only had plex. The man who helped us was miserable, he didn't have a good attitude at all. I went to counter to ask if I could talk to the person I talked to on the phone and the woman behind the counter said "I don't know." Not a helpful trip at all.

I've been with Lowes because of the military discount for about 15 years. I recently signed up for the Pro Account and it was not explained to me about and losing the military discount. I have contacted them locally and the corporate office. I told them to take me off of the Pro Account to get military discount. They could not change my status to receive the military discount. I have been going to the Menards and Home Depot in Quincy and the Home Store since this started and the employees are very helpful and polite. Lowes lost about $1,500.00 in sales since this started and will lose more to the Home Depot and Menards in Quincy IL and the the Home Store in Hannibal MO Home Depot gives me the militay discount. I guess this shows how much Lowes cares about veterans and their customers. I hope enough veterans read this and are careful if they sign up for a Pro Account and do so with a knowledgeable employee helping them through the process.

Clean store. Spacious isles and loved the inside lumber yard. Picked up another cabinet and was checking out in the lumber yard for the load out area under the canopy when we found a lumber cull pack by the door do we took that home with us as well. $370 in lumber for $99 some great value still a lot of good use will get my brooder area built and then some.

I went to lowes to get a stove. I had to oder one because they don't carry none in stock and refused to sell me one off the floor. They next day when the delivered it, the delivery guys stopped out on the street instead of pulling in my driveway. They asked me to drive my truck up to them so we cd t it into my truck which they did. Expecting them to follow me to help unload it, as I got to my house I realized the guys had already left. So here I am with this brand new stove that not in a box or package of any kid to unload myself in the pouring down rain.. in the store there was two employees, richard and Hayley that were very helpful and pleasant to work with but the delivery of the stove was a complete joke. The stove was left out in the rain while I had to call someone to come help unload it.

Holli (the appliance manager) and Steve (our appliance salesman) are both terrible with customer service. When selling the washer and dryer it seemed like we were an inconvenience for Steve. The order was placed on 28th and delivery scheduled for the first available day for this store, December 8th. On the 7th when a reminder call for delivery was not received we called the store. Steve and Holli were both not in but a very nice lady in customer service (Misty) told us the delivery now showed 22nd of December. How does a delivery date change and the customer not be informed? We called to talk to Holli but she is absolutely no help at all when she will answer the phone (we called and were transferred 6 times to her desk because she would not answer calls or pages) before we went to the store. She was absolutely no help in store and was un empathetic for the situation. A month without a washer or dryer is ridiculous and Holli just does not care. Now it’s out of stock in store and in the warehouse because Hannibal Lowes oversold what they had in stock after we left. What will this store do to make the situation right? I honestly hope neither get commission from this sale. By reading a past review it clearly is not the first time Holli has shown face and how she really should not be a manager or in customer service.

Workers aren't very friendly. I've had several issues with them trying to sell broken/missing pieces at full price, when they offer a discount for stuff like that (like $1 busted bags of cement). One lady signed me up for a preloaded card that never worked and the manager told me it was my loss even though I had the receipt. Seems like poor careless management.

In the day and age where customer service is non-existent, Tristan helped me out not only in his department but in various departments that I was searching in. He was courteous and helpful. Hannibal Lowe's is my go to. Thank you.

Lowes corporate or local management need to pull their heads out of the butts and come back to reality. People don't want to check themselves out while they watch a lowes employee stand at the self check outs playing on her phone. Stood in line at the pro counter for 10 mins asking with the 10 other people standing in line while one lowes employee checked customers out. If we wanted self check out we would just order from Amazon! There are 10 registers in this store. Lowes would rather pay people to stand around playing in a phone then earning their dollar while customers pay ridiculous prices and check themselves out. Ridiculous!

I cannot recommend this store to anyone. Possibly the worst customer service I've ever had (although the Quincy store is in the running:

1. Belligerent staff. When I went to pick up an in store order for my daughter back in December. I went to the service desk, said "Hi, I need to pick up this order for my daughter" (30 boxes of tiles), and handed them the printout. The person working the service desk holds up his hands, shakes his head and says "And?" When I was finally able to get him to go back and look for them he pulled them up to the edge of the desk and then stood there with a pissed off look on his face and watched me pull the several carts out and load them all. No help, no offer of help, just a jerk attitude.

2. UPDATE. This next paragraph 2 was a complaint about a hateful lady that was obnxious on the phone to my daughter. I discovered that the lady was actually at the Quincy Store, so I have removed this issue from my review and added one star to this review because the obnoxious behavior turns out wasn't a Hannibal employee being a jerk.

3. In on online order for free store delivery there were spindles that came in two parts. About half of them were missing a part. Rather than try to get us the other part, they insisted we return the entire spindle. OK, fine so long as we are going to get a replacement correct? In the store, they pretended to reorder for us, but now have called my daughter and told her we have to order online. Guess what? Actually they are apparently out of stock. So now we have half the spindles we need to complete this stair case and no way to reasonably replace them. Again, that's a service issue.

If they get to pick and choose when they actually deliver free to the store in my town I guess I might as well go to the one in Quincy. UPDATE: Nope, not going to the Quincy Store. Then again, maybe I should go to Home Depot or Menards instead.
