Lowe's Home Improvement - London, KY

This store sucks they see you coming they run and hide so they don't have to help you in the store everyone I talk to absolutely hate slows I work at WD Bryant's Ace hardware in London everybody comes in the store say they have salutely hate going to Lowe's

I found the prices at Lowe's to be very reasonable. I really like their delivery option. I don't have a way of picking up large items. I like being able to order and have them delivered.

You can go in most of the time no one ever asked do you need help with anything they avoid you like you have the plague or something you can go in walk around just killing time and seems like they always ask do you need help so I left and went to a new hardware store in London no more than I walked in they asked me do I need help and I said yes I do so I got what I was looking for Lowe's needs to take some pointer's from this hardware store.

I shop at Lowe's often. Most employees within the store are great and accommodating. The delivery driver that brought an order to My house wasn't the same quality. I had two deliveries. The delivery that had almost all 2x4s had the 2x4s bent and turned off ways. I'm not sure if they were strapped down like that from the beginning or someone moving them roughly made them out of stack and bent. Over all Lowe's is definitely a great place to shop. Some items are limited and copper fittings and water fittings are sometimes hard to find here however. Woodwork has quite the tools for building. Which is nice.

Like any Lowe's they have about all you need to get the job done or they can help you plan the next honey do list project.

Good store 10 times better then corbin Kentucky. But you can not get them to answer the phone. Apparently they just got enough people to stand around talking. I was there last night trying to get wire. They took the call button out .so I called on my phone. There was 5 people at the por desk talking and phone ringing. Not a dam one would pick it up.i will tell you menards is so much better. I am so sick of there costumer service. I hate going there but it is the closest thing around. They need to quit pushing people out the door.

Was in there today to replace a shower fixture. I believe his name is Tony. He was by far the best employee i have encountered in the years of shopping there. Knowledge of exactly what i needed and a awesome personality.

Why in small town Ky do I have to listen to ads in Spanish? I saw 1 Spanish guy in there? Quit kissing a$$ when it's not necessary! Wires locked up and 3 people standing in the main aisle ignored me. If you can afford that many employees, have some of them help! I dont have a key

I was highly impressed with the personal and professional service we received. Each person that helped us was very well trained and seemed to actually enjoy their job. So impressive. Rare today. Thank you!!!!!

Moved from IN to KY and Lowes hasn't changed. Apparently it must be their policy to price gouge, not have things in stock, carry very little for repairs, and I could go on. Yesterday yet again shows how much they care. Entire spot was the wrong item. I pulled every last item out looking for the right one and guess what, it was in with another item a few spots down. 1 of them atleast. Ridiculous how these places are run and the excuse 'we try to do our best' or 'we just can't get good help' seems to be the go to.

Response after response from Lowe's on these reviews starts off with how customer service is their top priority but they sure don't show it.
Looked for someone for 15 minutes to open a cage so I could get the items I needed, when they show up they act like your interrupting them, just a reminder that they have a job because for some reason we continue to go there and make purchases. Then when I go to check out I'm informed that I have to check my self out even with 4 employees standing there.
From now on I'll stick to the local stores that actually provide customer service.

I live in Tyner and I would rather drive 30 minutes to get my building supplies than anywheres near me. Lowe’s is cheap and the staff is a lot nicer.

Just had a gas stove delivered. That Caribian feller CAN DRIVE!!!! He spun that straight job around like a Pinto! while cautious of all the critters as well. That's hard to find nowadays. Nice guys, great service. Very happy

Just went back today and everyone was so polite!
Here we go, I had an issue here a few weeks ago and felt like we was being ignored. I spoke to a manager named John P. (That's all I'm putting) and he took time to listen to my grievance and said he'd help. He helped me purchase a new Samsung fridge () and it never worked upon delivery. John and another manager, Marlon, went above and beyond to help me. Since I've purchased 9+ gallons of paint, a brand new Whirlpool range and a new Frigidaire refrigerator (on order waiting to be delivered) and much much more. Because of the respect and professionalism of this one man, I'll be purchasing alot more from Lowes. Thank you John P. for your sincere help! I give John and Marlon from Lowes a 10 out of 5 ⭐!

Just like lowes, can't find anything and not one worker knows where it is either. Everyone of them sends you to the wrong isle, or tries to avoid you. Just another lowes.

Love them for the most part but the plant section is always under maintained or over watered. They have no one in there that actually knows how to tame care of an house plant. I've been told they literally take anyone off the street to take care of them.

I ordered a Washer and dryer, used Lowe’s card- paid it off the same day with my debit card. Lowe’s didn’t deliver I got upset and canceled my order. I’ve been out over $1407.21 and they won’t refund my money. It’s been over two weeks and each manager gives us the run around. I’ve talked to Corporate office who’s sending me back to Lowe’s tomorrow for the 7 time. I’ll have to hire a lawyer. This has been a nightmare. I’ll never shop here again.

They're always helpful. I appreciate Jeannie Gaines. She is a wealth of knowledge in many areas of products and how to do projects.

Typical Lowes. Clean and organized. At this store if you ask a worker a question they seem to act like you are interrupting them and it bothers them. I asked someone where an item was located and the answer was "Two or three isles that way I think" they then went back to arrange things on the shelf. Also when I got ready to load after asking for help to load lumber (I am 72 and wear a back brace) I waited about 30 minutes and finally did it myself. If it was not a Lowes store it would have been 1 star.

The owner responded to my review saying they would work on improving then this happened.

This was my worst experience at Lowes. I am 73 years old and needed to buy several electrical products. When I entered the store, I asked if someone could come with me to help me find all the products I needed so I would not have to walk all over. I was told there should be someone in the electrical aisle. I went there, but no one was there. I found an associate and asked him if he could help and stay with me until I found what I needed. After about three items, someone came up and asked him a question. He said he could not just help me; other customers needed help and left. He did not return. On two occasions, while I was there, I saw associates standing around and talking to each other. I finally gave up on finding what I needed and left the store. My purchases that day were over $600 there, and they would have been over $1200 if I had just had someone to help. I spent another $600 + at an Electrical Supply after I left the store. I would have bought these things at Lowes if I had had a little help at Lowes. I am very disappointed in Lowes as I have been a long-time customer, but now I will only buy what I can find from someone else. Good thing there is not a no star rating.

Employees seem to be more helpful than in the past. Some areas such as cabinet hardware is low on stock and disorganized. I love the garden section!

Too crowded. They place so much extra crap in the artery aisles that it makes it hard for two people to cross each other with shopping carts and impossible for anyone with a materials cart. This just pushes me to find more specialty stores for my hardware needs. I love to go somewhere else.

4th delivery attempt for 3 appliances. Each time something was missing or damaged. 3 brand new appliances are not cheap. I will never buy appliances from this lowes location again. If you value your time and money, do not have anything delivered from this location.

Update: It's not only appliances. Do not get any form of delivery from this location. You will not get it in time. This is one of the absolute worst stores I have ever had the displeasure of doing buisness with. Home depot needs to open a store in London and teach them how it's done.
