I had an excellent experience at Lowe’s! I went in to pick up numerous bags of paver base, sand, and other heavy items, as well as some stones I had already purchased. Trevon and Charles went above and beyond to help me. They were extremely friendly, professional, and made the whole process quick and easy by helping load everything onto my truck. Their outstanding assistance truly made my shopping experience smooth and stress-free. Thank you, Trevon and Charles!

I am very upset with this store. Some of the other locations might be a little better because of different store managers. Which is what I would like to address “the store manager”. How can you give some of your employees time off for a their pet passing away and some of their good employees can’t catch a break, not even when they have the COVID, or a case of the flu so bad that a vessel pops in a person’s eye. You have employees that will go in the restrooms just to hide to get out of working. To me there is some type of prejudice going on with this store manager. If you’re not equipped for the job, why don’t you quit. But like the saying goes “ when one door closes another will open”something better is around the corner. But for this store manager, I have a lot more to say. You know what’s going on in your store and don’t do anything about it. Also when you need assistance you can’t find anyone to help you. TAPPAHANNOCK store, you got to do better. You have lost my business and my family, friends and whoever else I can get the word out to. Shame on you with all the prejudice going on, especially that store manager.

The worst store ever. The customer service is appalling. The attention you receive is absolutely pathetic, and it’s clear they don’t care about their customers. They sell items that aren’t even in stock, and when you call to inquire or ask for help, they hang up on you. Truly frustrating experience."

Really mixed reviews on this store. Some of the staff members truly go above and beyond to help you. Others like a woman named Precious simply should not be in customer service. Typically can find what I’m looking for, but no one wants to go spend money in a store where you are not made to feel welcomed or appreciated.

Please do not fall for their delivery scam. This is the third time they got me before I caught on to what they are doing. When you place an online order for multiple items for delivery, they will cancel part of the order "without reason." When you call to ask what happened, they kindly apologize and tell you they will send the rest of the materials on subsequent delivery. However, for each subsequent delivery of the canceled items, they will charge you a new delivery fee. For a $68 order I was charged a total of $117 in delivery fees...$39 for each delivery in a 3 item order

Carpet from Lowe’s for $3,000 with the worst seam ever! Installers from serv pro left a huge mess behind then had the nerve to tell me the seam is only noticeable when the lights are turned off. Basically did NOTHING to fix the problem and offered a $150 compensation. Total BS, DO NOT USE LOWES FOR CARPET EVER

My wife and I were looking for a variety of objects for our new home, but couldn't find all of it ourselves. But then two employees, Chuck Billmyer and Makayla Dickson, offered to help us. They didn't just tell us where these items were, they walked us to it. We told them there was a toilet we wanted to buy but was too heavy for either of us to lift. Chuck got a cart, loaded up the toilet, met us at checkout, and then loaded it in our car. They both exhibited the highest levels of professionalism while still being friendly. Definitely great employees! It's a 40 minute drive for us to get to this Lowe's (while passing by two other hardware stores) but we will be back! Great place!

Since you can't put tools in your cart
items were placed at Pro counter until checkout by employee that was handling locked cabinet.
By the time We left was so rattled didn't notice we came home with drill not impact. Thanks Lowes Employee!
Employees aren't able to know appliances in stock. What?? Wasted trip Any dishwasher I chose wasn't in store.
And people wonder why in store shopping is down. I am pro cash and as local as I can be ... but some businesses are hour away.. I must say Tappahannock, Va visit today was a mass confusion of employees. Maybe they weren't ready for Monday!

Whoever the young-ish tall black girl with fake long hair is at customer service on 6/22/24 at like 7pm is rude as can be. Me and my husband have had multiple encounters with this girl within the past probably 6 months to a year and it’s VERY clear she’s miserable at this job so I’m confused why she’s in customer service or even still working at this store. Her mouth, her expressions .. everything is literally rude and she doesn’t even try to hide it. I’m shocked she’s still working there like I can’t be the only person who has dealt with her and felt this way… and I’m a very easy person to please. Lol. Embarrassing. Oh and might I add, she received instruction from the assistant manager that evening to do something and she said right to me and infront of him “I’m not doing that” and then just looked at him and he just walked away instead of using his managerial authority to override her. Weird dynamic going on here.

Customer service is non-existent in this store. However, another corporation that could most likely care less about the customer. As much as I hate having to shop here, I believe their staff hates having to go there as well. With that said, I have to go here often and I have found 4 people in this whole store that are nice and will help. Unfortunately, those 4 people do not work open to close 7 days a week.

Not impressed with the manager in gardening, the plant was broke off, and the other 3 branches were bent down. He pointed out it was still living .Suggested I stake the three pieces.Stated he could not allow any other mark down. Several of the same plants were purchased by another customer who did not purchase the one left,which I would have purchased. At a lower price. All was on mark down. l think he did not even attempt to give any customer service. It is noted on many occasions that the plants are trashed.

I wish I would have read the Lowe's reviews on delivery issues before I purchased from Lowe's opposed to Home Depot. First off, I would like to say the associate that helped with my purchase, Chuck, was great! He is NOT the reason I write this review. I purchased 3 appliances from Lowe's in Tappahannock... they gladly took my money... they made the sale. NOT the third party delivery company! If you don't have control over the "schedule" then I would recommend NOT offering YOUR customers the option to select a day for delivery. A note to improve your terrible management's customer service... Both the female manager who answered the phone at 7:32pm on Sunday 3/24/24 and the male manager above her weren't helpful and placed blame on the 3rd party delivery company. Again I am Lowe's customer NOT the 3rd party's customer. The female manager asked for my phone number, when I attempted to clarify if she wanted my number, or the number on the order, she rudely cut me off and said she wanted my number... nope, actually she needed the number attached to the order. As a manager, you don't ever place blame on someone YOU hire to make your deliveries. As a manager, there is ALWAYS something you can do to help make a bad situation better. So take this advice from a customer and a manager; Change your process to handle an upset customer. Change your process on how your delivery schedule is handled; perhaps give the custome the number and have them schedule directly with the 3rd party. Lastly TRAIN your managers! It's terrible that I had a better experience with the gentleman taking over $3,000 from me than the manager who should have, at minimum, apologized and not made excuses by placing blame elsewhere.

They were okay other than if you have tattoos you will be profiled where it makes you uncomfortable completely where you can't even go to self-checkout without them standing over top of you thinking you're stealing something even though I probably make close to $150,000 a year way more than they would ever make and they assume because I have tattoos I'm out to get them

BEWARE!!! I ordered a fridge & stove, was given a “window frame” time of 7:30am-11:30am. After taking off work to ensure I was there (it was mandatory) then still no delivery.When I called to the store the associate acted like “oh well” sorry it’s a 3rd party company so we can’t track it. Now why would I buy something from that location to be told if it doesn’t come deal with the delivery driver not the company. It’s ridiculous. I finally spoke to Heather and she is the only reason I don’t cancel the whole purchase!!(very polite & accommodating)

Paid for lumber to be delivered on a Wednesday. Had to call them at 2:00 in afternoon for them to tell me it would be Friday. Got a call 8:00 Friday morning that it would be delivered. Got a call at 20:00 that it would be Saturday. I went and got my money back . That's last time I support this store.

I actually had a wonderful purchasing experience with Lowes Tappahannock for my new Samsung Refrigerator. I even sat in the appliance department with the manager and wrote up a glowing review on the gentleman that helped us. Fast forward a week to delivery day and the install crew were just as awesome! They were patient, careful and new what the were doing. So far everything is great.
24 hours later it turns out the refrigerator portion isn’t cooling down (freezer works great). So naturally, I call Lowe’s, let them know the issue and they transfer me to appliances. I again explain the issue to the lady that answered. She responded with, “okay, well what do you want US to do about?” I was completely taken aback. I’m obviously calling because I would like some support and guidance on the next move while hundreds of dollars are groceries are wasting away in a cooler of melting ice. She says, “well we can come pick it up since it was delivered yesterday.” It wasn’t even the things she was saying, it was her tone. Like I’m an idiot to think that Lowes could assist me in anyway and now that I’ve made my purchase they could care less anymore. I actually ended up informing her that she was being rude and she got super defensive and yelled that she wasn’t. It sucks to have such a wonderful experience with a company to have it ruined by one person that can’t be bothered to show some compassion in a customer facing role, especially with the many years of experience she claimed to have.

Can Lowe's please tell their associates that "Samsung Pay" DOES work at their stores. Every visit is the same with the associates telling me I can't use my phone to pay and that "Apple Pay" doesn't work. I use Samsung Pay and it does work. You may have to tap it a few times on those antiquated credit card readers, but it does work. Today 11/06/21 the cashier was basically saying I was lying about being able to pay with my phone when low and behold, >I payed with my phone<. Rather than apologizing, she seemed upset that she was proven wrong.
