Window World of Richmond

I have used Window World of Richmond for multiple properties and they cannot be beat. Their install crew put in 21 windows in less than 8 hours. Amazing!!

I had 4 window company’s come out out to my location to quote 23 new windows. Anderson came in at $76k discounted down to $56k, Champion came in at $88k and discounted down to $38k, Home Genius came out $35k discounted down to $28k, and lastly Window world came out at $17k. The first 3 company’s that came took 1-2 hours walking around my house BS’ing. Window world was in and out in 30 min. The other retailers had issues when you would said no, then would provide an instant discount in hope that you agree to the insane quote…. Don’t fall for that crap Window worlds sales employee was professional and did not BS me. Went to all the windows and came back with a mouth dropping quote.

I’ve had people tell me O window world is crap, this and that. I have had an absolutely 0 issues with them and the install was professional and was a good install. Very happy with my experience and the new windows look stunning and bring out the curb appeal much better then the 30 year old builder grade windows.

Window world even wrapped all of my wood trim in vinyl to prefect any damage and to protect my asset for many more years.

All in all I cannot recommend window world enough, I wish I skipped the BULL and called window world first. I 100% do business with them again, this time for siding!

I live in a HOA community and they provided me a nice print out of my plans to provide the office for approval, other company’s refused to do this when asked in quote appointment.

Windows look great. Very easy to clean. Installation by Tyler was excellent. He was timely, professional and ensured the work area was cleaned properly. We would refer others and would use Window World again.

It’s no wonder you aren’t able to add reviews on their facebook page, but for other franchise locations you can. This company is horrible to work with. Customer service is terrible unless you are requesting a quote. If you need something that won’t make them money, they will ignore you.
Patio doors installed in 2022 leaked water into our home causing water damage on the wood floors. They came out to “fix” the issue by re-caulking the doors. They refuse to pay to fix the damage caused by their cheap product. In the future, Window Depot is a much more reliable option with comparable prices.

Great job from the initial contact with the sales team, presentation, pricing, scheduling and the install. I highly recommend Window World and will be ordering another 4 windows in the near future.

I've been a customer for over 20 years. In the past they would come and repair screens for free... part of the original guarantee. No more! Now you have to remove them yourself, deliver to the Midlothian store or pay $75. So at 80 years old, I won't be removing and delivering them myself! So I paid the fee, was told someone would be here in Friday, 2 days later. Didn't happen. I called today, Monday to let them know no one showed up. So sorry. He forgot! Definitely be there this afternoon. It's now past closing time and again a no show! I'm so disappointed in a company that for years recommended to other people including my granddaughter! I'll call again tomorrow...see what the excuse will be this time!

I was worried the night before that the door and windows were not going to be as I imagined. After the install I couldn't believe how amazing they looked. 25% of the amazement was from the quality of the windows and 75% was in the quality of the install. Raul and his team did such an amazing job. They had (8) windows removed and reinstalled in ~2.5 hours and the quality was far better than I could have asked for. I could write on and on about how his team left my home without a trace of trash or the attention to detail, but I'll leave it at this; if I ever need windows again, I'll only allow Raul and his team to install them.

I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. My sales representative, Kevin, demonstrated a lack of honesty and integrity throughout the process.

Issue #1: Kevin told me I would be charged 50% upfront and the remaining 50% upon completion of the job. This arrangement was reflected on both my invoice and receipt. However, I was charged the full amount upfront. I later learned that full upfront payment is standard with financing, but this was never clearly communicated to me beforehand.

Issue #2: After installation, one of the (very expensive) windows was defective. Kevin assured me via text—on two separate occasions— that he was looking into it on the first message and on the second he confirmed that a replacement window had been ordered. However, when I followed up three weeks later, he dismissed my concern and told me to call the office. Upon doing so, I found out that no replacement window had ever been ordered and he did not look into it. What would have happened if I hadn’t followed up?

While the office manager did try to resolve the issue by sending someone out to assess and repair the window, my trust in this company has been lost. It took over a month from the initial installation to have someone come look at the window and repair it. The sales team's dishonesty has left me with a very negative impression, and I would not recommend doing business with this company.

The entire process of having our patio sliding door replaced was simple and seamless from estimate to install. Rick, who did our estimate was prompt and courteous and answered all our questions. Tyler, who did our install was also prompt and efficient doing an excellent job on the install. I am certain we will be calling them again for our next project.

Both tyler and trey did a great job installing my windows. I found both to be personable, knowledgeable of their product , and hard working. I'll use them again, when need be.

An all day job and Tyler and Trey were very courteous and professional the entire time they were here. Tyler called 45 minutes ahead to let me know he was on the way. Showed up on time and made sure his apprentice practiced the same level of professionalism and work quality. Would recommend

I am extremely happy with Window World. The products they sell, the salesman, and the installation has been seamless both times that we have purchased products from them. The warranty on the products is exceptional, and I feel comfortable that if I need to contact window world for a problem they would handle it right away. Just had 16 windows installed and we couldn’t be happier with our choice of Window World. The professionalism of the installer was wonderful, especially TYLER. He was on time and respectful to us and our property. He personally addressed all our concerns, which were minor. He made sure everything was up to our expectations before he left.
The cleanup and removal process was thorough. Not even a scrap of wood was left. He definitely put the white glove technique on his work.
In closing, we are very proud of our new windows and would 100% recommend TYLER and Window World to others.

The crew got here about 8:30. Everyone was so nice and efficient. They started by laying down plastic at the windows. Next thing we knew, the windows were out. They started replacing our old windows. They were so precise about what they were doing. 20 windows in one day. Awesome! The crew did an excellent job. We were very pleased with Window world and the way the job was done. I would recommend them highly. I love my new windows. Such an amazing job. Don't wait to get them done. It made a big difference in the sound and the air that was coming in thru the old windows.

I worked with Mr Paul Matox , and him and his team did a great job in finding the right windows and installing them.

Window World and specifically, their installer Tyler were courteous, responsive, and did a great job installing new windows on a very old house.

The entire process from sales to installation was outstanding and professional. The installation team of H&M and Tyler was on time, professional, meticulous, and left my property spotless.

Had two triple pane sound reduction windows installed. Prompt and smooth process all the way through. Inside sales was responsive and helpful in setting up a consultation with in 3 days while being flexible to our schedule. The home sales rep was knowledgeable, not pushy, and an attentive listener. Pre construction set the proper expectations for the installation date and Tyler the window tech was extremely personable, professional, and diligent. Tyler ensured we were happy with the work and sent pictures for further review

Wednesday 1-27-2025: Home sales rep accommodated a slight change in schedule. Purchase initiated with half down. 3 week estimate to begin work.
Monday 2/3/2025: Pre construction representative called and scheduled installation for between 9am and 12pm
that Wednesday
Wednesday 2/5/2025: Technician called at 8:25am to alert us to them being onsite in about 30 minutes. Windows installed and final pictures shared by 11:30am

The price was a little higher than we anticipated but everything is these days. A lifetime warranty and replacement guarantee for any damage at all helped to alleviate those concerns

Zero for doors! I don’t know how they are for windows but I will never purchase another door from Window World. I purchased a door August, 2024 and the installers put in door locks which were loose and said he could not tighten them. I called Window World and they sent someone out to tighten them. Three months later they were loose again. I called the company and asked to speak to the manager, Dylan would not call me back until I left several messages. I asked to have different door locks installed because those looked cheap but he said they were not. Now January, 2025 the door locks were loose again and now the knob came off. Window World should NOT INSTALL DOORS. Zero for doors!

I was very happy with the service I received, from the sale to the installation. My new doors exceeded my expectations.

I had a window installed in a clients bathroom. The installer did not completely caulk the window and there was a leak. I had them back to corect the problem and asked about having the water stains repainted. They completely ignored my request. I have reached out to them several time and have gotten no follow up. There costomer service stinks.

Would like to thank Naudia who worked with me in replacing my shutters that had faded. She coordinated getting the shatters with the manufacture and stayed in constant Communication with me and let me know step-by-step what would be happening. She was so professional and friendly. Window World has always been fair, has great workers, and easy payment options. This is their 2nd job at my house and I will definately hire them again for future projects! Their installers go above and beyond my expectations, and these days, that's saying a LOT! Tyler and DJ were on time, considerate of my pets, and extremely efficient.

Window World was the only company that could do the work other window companies couldn't. I got quotes from 7 different window replacement companies and not only could not do what I needed done but the prices were so much higher just to replace them. WINDOW WORLD MADE MY HOUSE A HOME that I love.
Not only they replaced 4 sliding doors, and had a window added to a wall. I remodel homes and recommend to clients.

Are you interested in a lying salesman who has never done a day of work in his life trying to sell you nonsense to make commission ? Then Window World is perfect for you ! Paul put in my order for me, assuring me that the installers would be able to put my screen doors back up for me, & reuse my original trim (original wood, cannot be replaced or replicated !). Not only did he completely forget about my order until I asked for an update (6 weeks after we first met), he lied about everything he promised me. Day of install finally comes around (2 1/2 months after original date — this STILL isn’t my issue), the installer tells me he can’t use my trim & that they can put it white trim for me. My whole house has wood trim, this would stick out like a sore thumb, not to mention it ISN’T what I was told I would be getting ! They also told me they cannot put my screen doors back up, so they have left them in my yard. If I knew they would do such a poor job that isn’t what I had agreed upon I never would’ve gone with them. The warranty isn’t worth it. You are better off going to Lowe’s, they will get it done cheaper, faster, & honestly. Their services are far too expensive for the subpar quality they offer.

My new windows are beautiful! Great price and service! Highly recommended! Ask for Raul to install your windows. He’s the best! I will call them back to have the rest of our windows replaced.

I love my new windows! Love the fact they open from top and bottom! They look great and are easy to open and close! Installers were on top, polite and cleaned up the mess!
