The paint area sold me expired paint. I trusted the workers there to mix and give me good paint to use in my house. I do not know anything about paint or what it should smell like. Woke up the day after using it with my house smelling like rancid vomit (it did not smell like this while I was painting my walls). After doing some research it's because the paint was expired. This should have been something the person mixing my paint caught and now because of their negligence I am in this situation.

This Lowes absolutely sucks! I put in an order to have materials delivered for a deck. All materials were in stock. Got a confirmation the night before the delivery that it would be here between 8 and 12am from the lowes app and delivery. At 815 the next morning, I get an email that it's not coming, and they sent my order to another store to be fulfilled. When I called, I was on hold for 20 minutes trying to get someone on the phone. The manager said she didn't know and sent me to the delivery department. The delivery department said their computer systems had inventory numbers that were incorrect, and they were receiving orders they could not fulfill. They could have confirmed this 2 days prior when I ordered the materials, not the morning of the delivery. So here I sit after I took a day off work as well as others, being told the morning of the delivery, they do not have the materials I ordered. But for 2 days I've been getting messages my order would be delivered. No offers to help in any kind of way. In fact, the Manager seemed to pass the buck as soon as I got her on the phone. Terrible business and no excuse for selling products you don't have and waiting until the morning of delivery to confirm. I CANCELED my order and ordered from Home Depot! You just lost a 10k sale and a customer!

I Went to lowes Suffolk va was assisted at customer service rep Linda with a problem and she had to call a assistant Manger who was no help. Linda called the Manger named Sean who provided great customer service solved the issue in record time. I usually don't write reviews but when you get great service on a bad day it makes you smile and say we still have good service people who enjoy talking and helping you. Thanks lowes

I picked up my on-line order. Waited five minutes after checking in,no one showed up. I asked the self checkout lady if someone could help me. She explained that the employee get notified when I check in. Waited another five minutes, no one. I then asked the returns lady; her line had dissipated by then. She got my order quickly. I noticed another person checking in for their order and explained that was a complete waste of time. Told her to check with the returns lady.

This is the closest store so we wind up coming here often but rarely do we leave with what we need (even if the items show as being in stock)... I would say probably 80% or more of the time we wind up having to go to Home Depot. The reason I am finally annoyed enough to write a review is because my husband went to the store tonight for a pallet of concrete planter blocks. He found what he needed and asked an employee for assistance loading it into the truck with a forklift. He was informed it would be "easier for you to load them by hand onto a flatbed because I'm the only one working this department & would have to find another associate to assist with the forklift". Somehow I think that is only the easier option for the employee, not my husband who is there with our small child. So now they are (once again) going to Home Depot!

The nice people in the paint department are the only reason the store doesn't get a one-star review. They are truly lovely & helpful humans!

My plan was to order 14 blinds. A very nice gentleman promptly came to take measurements and the information was put into the computer system. I traveled over 30 minutes to pick out brand, style, and Colors with Rae, who was extremely helpful. This morning (after the holidays) another lady called to clarify my order and we discovered only the measurements were “in the system!”. I didn’t receive a follow- up call to give me an update. I still have no windows after 5 days and counting.

On 12/18/24 I went into Lowes on Main Street in Suffolk to purchase items as gifts. The last gift I was looking for I couldn't find so I asked a female clerk who was working in that area if she could help me locate the item, this was the same clerk I delt with the last time I came in. She went to another item and said this is it. I stated no mam thats not the one. She said thats what you told me and I said No thats not what I said, just forget it she turned and walked away. This is the rudest person I have ever seen, she didn't care if she made a sale or not. I told the manager and she said you are not the only person who has complained about her today. This was the same clerk about a week ago who was VERY RUDE and walked away before. I now have to drive to Home Depot to purchase items, this is a much longer drive, but it's worth the drive not to have to put up with jerks like this!!! Why does Lowes continue to allow this type of person to represent their compamy!!!!

Horrible horrible horrible 1st of all Lowe’s came out to a measurement of new LVP please tell me why would they put I need to replace my moulding when my moulding is bigger and look better. So an unnecessary cost, next I had literally 16 boxes of flooring left another unnecessary cost. Now let’s talk about the delivery process so I get a call about a week before delivery asking when I wanted it delivered. So it was scheduled so they say on the delivery day no delivery so I called and inquired about when they were coming because now the business day is almost over they couldn’t even find a delivery for me they had to call me back after investigating and they simply stated oh we are sorry your stuff didn’t make onto the truck today. So now it’s Thursday the contractors Lowe’s use for installing flooring is coming on Monday and I’m like I need it asap. So they schedule for Saturday now Saturday come I get a call that someone is in route to deliver the material and then 15 mins later I get a call from someone else stated the same thing. The 1st delivery person get here with just the padding and moulding and asked if the other person delivered the flooring. I stated oh that must have been the other call I received the delivery guy then proceeded to say he will come back after his other deliveries to put the flooring in the house because this other guy just will drop the pallet of flooring in the driveway no problem. Now this next guy come with 2 pallets of flooring and stated the other guy lied he ain’t going to come back which he was right he didn’t come back. Now let’s fast forward to installment day the installers were great and explained why it would look stupid to install smaller moulding also like I said it was so much material left over that it didn’t make good since on how that person that came out measured everything and had so much extra left. So once again called Lowe’s spoke to the assistant mgr a woman I forgot her name so she said she will have someone come pick up the extra the next day. Guess what the same thing happened again no one never came and once I again I had to call and find out they dropped the ball once again of course the mgr was off when I called the associate I spoke to was like she had to call her at home to figure out what was going on and that she didn’t get the notification until later that day that’s why no one came to pick up the extra moulding
excuses again they all lie terribly here I spent 11k just to be lied to never again. Now let’s fast forward to today they did come get the moulding but wouldn’t take the flooring because that wasn’t on the list to take. I’m literally not about to go through this again I’ll just pack it up in my car and take it to them I really don’t even want to step foot in that store as I feel I will definitely will be taken out of character just remember you’ve been warned about the unprofessionalism at this location. I really wanted to use home depot but they didn’t have a big selection like Lowe’s as I’ve never had an issue with them in the past.

This store doesn’t even deserve one star every time I go there to get a last minute Item for a to project one and a half inch Deck screws or three-quarter inch plywood. It doesn’t matter what you’re looking for. They don’t have it. If I want anything from a box store I have to go all the way to Home Depot, Home Depot Is a one stop shot? I can buy my deck screws and electrical connectors and my virtual plywood all at the same place for the same price. But Home Depot offers better quality products, especially when it comes to building lumber

Did not install the dryer correctly at all. The guy ripped apart the venting to the outside, and bunched up the venting in the inside. Now the steamy air is coming out underneath the house and inside the house. We found out too late, and they won't do anything about it.

Shopping for appliances at Suffolk lowes is a horrible experience and useless. As on two separate purchase attempts. The clerk stated we don't keep any store inventory now that we offer next day delivery. ( They charge for delivery). Then when delivery was made 3 days later. They delivered 2 out of 3 appliances damaged. So after a week of dealing with store management and delivery contractor. I was forced to cancel order and purchase from East Coast appliances. ( who had same appliance in stock for immediate pickup ).

Bought 3 kitchen appliances. You cannot pick up at store because they don’t keep appliances in stock, but with delivery (added cost) you can get it in a few days. Delivery was scheduled on a day convenient to me. I hired a contractor to come install. On delivery my oven was severely damaged. So the next available day to deliver was 2 days later. I asked for an early delivery time due to a conflict. The night before the delivery I received a message that my delivery window was 4p-8p. I have been calling all morning and getting nothing but a run around. This is Lowe’s fault for damaging my product, yet I am not compensated and now am missing an important event since they cannot fix their issue by delivering in the time frame the customer requested.

I have spent over a million dollars with Lowes and am sorry to say it's over. The selection has become slight and shelves are empty on popular item. The Low price they want to be known for no longer exist.
I won't be shopping any self check out store (Lowes) in the future.

Lowe's is usually a good store to shop, however this is July they have Halloween decorations out but no Air-conditioners in the stores. On another note It's a plus being able to give them your phone number when you make a purchase, so if you have to make a return they'll able to pull up your purchases by your phone number.

The Lowe's employees are always friendly and super helpful. And the store usually has what I need at a reasonable price. The self leveling underlayment was perfect for the bathroom heated floor.
