Called to ask if they had sheds on display in the parking lot employee was on hold for about 30 mins
When employee finally answered didn't even know if the had sheds. Asked if they can look outside to see if they had any on display in the paking lot was told they don't know. Very disappointed. That why i stop shopping there.

This is by far the best Lowes I know of. I frequent Ware and also Worcester MA however, I'm always greeted with a smile in Killingly. Someone is always willing to ask if I need assistance; today I was once again helped by Diane (she's helped me before) I believe she's a manager?? Either way, who's ever doing the hiring at this location keep doing what you're doing. The staff at this location is the best.

Paid 4500 for a zero turn lawn mower. Delivered missing the bolts on the seat so it literally fell off. Lowe's won't just give me the part off another machine to make it right. So two hours on the phone and disconnected multiple times, because I had it delivered it's the distribution center and not the store where I made the purchase. I have to wait a week for them to pick up this machine and drop one off with the two simple bolts on the seat. Makes a ton of business sense. Should have gone to a Mom and Pop. I'll think twice before I drop the amount of money in any Lowe's ever again.

Honestly crazy, had a problem with our 2 washers and our dryer, now a year later we order a stove and explain exactly what our setup was, stove gets here and they tell us it's the wrong plug and we're gonna have to call an electrician to come in and run a 220 for the new stove. Educate your employees on what they are selling instead of worrying about making a sale, if they don't know what needs to be addressed in a sale whether it be electrical connections or something that hinders the installation, take them off the floor and make sure they are aware of what they are selling to the people coming into your store. Home depot may be a farther drive from us, but it'll be better then going through this nonsense with lowes for a 4th time

I rung the associate bell and sat in the isle for 15 minutes trying to find a machine screw bigger than 3 inches. During which employees took turns walking down the side of the isle, making direct eye contact with me then speeding up to get past the row while the "attention, customer needs assistance in the hardware isle" dinger went off constantly and EXTREMELY loud. Don't get me wrong, I should have just went up and asked somebody, but at the same time what if it was a disabled person asking for help? I just found this to be crazy unprofessional.

I love Waterford Lowes. Always clean and fully stocked. The kid workshop is so much fun and the guy who does it always hypes up my daughter he will definitely be missed when we move

Absolutely horrible customer service! Purchased (5) exterior wall lights at the Lowell Ma. Lowes and received 20% for opening a new Lowes Credit Card. One light was defective so my installer stopped in to exchange it and was rudely told NOPE. They returned the light at the 20% and sold us a NEW one minus the discount originally received. A call to Lowes Customer Service was no help either, saying we needed to contact the store Manager. NO THANKS, I won't be shopping at the Dayville Lowes ever again. The person at the desk seemed irritated and was doing other tasks instead of taking care of the customer!

If this were a private hardware store it would go out of business.

My wife enjoys arts and crafts and we went to the Lowes in Killingly to buy a sheet of plywood in the hopes of having it cut into 8 2x2 sq ft sections. I could do this myself, however, Lowes has the equipment to do a nice straight cut. I went to the desk and there was a man and , presumably, a woman there. They gave me every excuse not to perform my request. One told me that there were pre-cut pieces a few aisles down for ~ $8 per piece. (Do the math, 8 times $8 is $64. Why would I pay $64 when a sheet of plywood is only $24?) Another told me that an accurate cut could not be guaranteed and cuts are only done to get the lumber in the vehicle. Really? This is Lowes policy? And, why would I ever want any home improvement or installations done by Lowes if Lowes personnel can't measure and cut plywood? Reluctantly, the plywood sheet was cut into 2 4x4 sq ft sheets.

Perhaps my expectations of service is too high as I did 21 1/2 years, 20 years active duty, in the US Army, and my wife also did four active. I do not want a shallow "thank you for your service," nor do I want a shallower apology. Instead, I want this never to happen to anyone that goes to this store again. I can assure you this will never happen to me because I will never shop at this Lowes again. Lowes needs to get customer service correct first time and all the time.

Got a dishwasher and we were missing all the parts to install. Called and they were like "we probably lost them. But you have to call the manufacturer." That is unacceptable. If Lowes lost the parts they should do the leg work to get them replaced for us as soon as possible. There was no accountability at all. I am livid and I will no longer use Lowes for anything.

Ordered a front entry door in the spring. It was a slow process to get the measurements done, long periods of time between measuring and ordering. Door arrived over a month ago, it was too big. Had to WAIT for re-measure. I was assured my order would be expedited. Install was finally scheduled for wends oct 31. Monday OCT 29 I received a call, the door is not in production yet. I have been informed it will now be January, just an estimate. I was informed yesterday that the order was never been expedited but the rep would expedite it now. I have had a broken door, I have made all involved aware of this. This process is beyond acceptable. Very bad experience

Well, if you were gonna shop in Lowe’s, I will highly recommended to do any other day than Saturdays afternoon because customer service is nasty rude mean in particular the lady head lead carol, last Sunday I get storm door for over $400 so I come back today because i need to replace the lock handle and I say let’s go to Lowe’s rather than go somewhere else because last week they was so nice , plus I wanna make sure it will be the right one so the only one that they have that fits my storm door it was repack with a regular Price on it box was broken all wrapped up in tape so I went and ask for the manager to see if they can provide any kind of discount because obviously it’s been returned back to the store. This lady told me well. I don’t need the manager for that ,the manager
passed by behind her and I asked her if she was the manager and she was yes but I don’t need her so I look at her and then she went and talk to her came back and says to me ,well she said no she can’t do any discounts on it , it’s a regular price because is only the box is broken . obviously somebody already bought it so I say OK no thank you. So Home Depot will be my new store ,because I can’t understand how the costumer services can be so rude with you for no reason if you don’t like your job you should be quit.Never again !!!!! Probably she thinks I can afford it but she was wrong they’re just losing a costumer !!!!!!

Ordered lumber for a 4’x6’ deck. (Now, mind you, 4’x6’ is smaller than a full piece of plywood, 4’x8’) and stair stringers. There was a delivery option, and for more $$ a same day delivery option. Made the order Wednesday morning. It’s Saturday morning now, and just received notice, the delivery is #4 for Saturday’s delivery.
While the people who we spoke with were as helpful as possible. The options available were nonexistent. This company is not equipped to offer a delivery service. The third party delivery service is not available for customer service. The employees at Lowe’s have their hands tied by the system that doesn’t work. They Just don’t have the capability for delivery. The Lowes management is responsible for this problem, not the employees.

It's nice the only thing is that when they have solar companies there they need to tell them to not allow the reps to follow people around the store and constantly ask them.Give them space and let them come to the reps.

I asked assistance with Kobalt weed Wacker. I need the trimmer head. They don't carry them by the way. Was told they would take care of me. I waited. And waited. I walked out. No more of my money goes to Lowe's now. I have 2 miles of
line and no trimmer head.

Bought an outdoor egg chair from Killingly Lowe’s. It was delivered June 28th My husband had to unbox and assemble. One month later big rust holes in chair. Called Lowe’s they said we had to deal with manufacturer. Called manufacturer and they said the chair is no longer available so go to Lowe’s for a refund. Return to Lowes with manufacturer email and now told we have to disassemble chair and return to Lowe’s. So after all the time wasted by us building and disassembling and cramming into car and returning we get nothing in return but sorry !!!
If you’re going to sell a product then be willing to back it. Poor customer service !!

Okay, this place is great because it's convenient, because it has such a large selection, and because the employees really are great. But beyond that, it's got issues. I've noticed the quality of Lowe's products is really going down - a lot of times you'll buy something expensive and it's just lame. I bought 3 air conditioners last year, properly sized for the rooms they were going in, the more-expensive of the options. Installed them all, ran them, and none of them cooled the rooms really at all. Why sell such junk? At least when you buy something online there's reviews online so you know if it's junk. At Lowe's, you just have to hope that they're carrying decent stuff. But that's not the only thing that has happened like that. I bought a bunch of Christmas lights right before Christmas. I was trying to pull a fast one or anything, but the lights were terrible, half of them didn't work. I went to return them like 2 days after Christmas, and they wouldn't take them. I get it, their policy exists so people don't take advantage - but I mean, I could plug the lights in right in the store and show them how they didn't work. They didn't care, they wouldn't take it back. Told me I would have to call the manufacturer. Not worth the hassle, I just tossed them out.

So then, why even bother with Lowe's? I guess if you need a nut or a bolt quickly, there they are. They have all the nuts and bolts you could choose from. But if it's something you need where quality matters, I would pass over them. They're not even competitive on price. Most of the tools you can find the same tool at Harbor Freight or on Amazon for 20% less. And those guys won't give you a hassle about returning them if they don't work. But if you need something immediately, well then sure, I guess they're worth a shot. Still, I think I would recommend checking in with the other local hardware stores first, if you can help it at all.

this store is so goofy. who made this business model .
can’t get any help finding items they have no clue where items are.
not one cashier working a regular register in the check out area .
no bags , i see customer checking out with 11 -12 small items well over 200 dollars , dumping them into their cars from the carts .
i don’t get the business model .
at least home depot offers you a plastic bag .

Store is great…unless you came here to shop of course. After walking all over the place to find the one thing I need I was kicked out of the isle because the employees needed to do some work in the next isle and block off the one I needed Because it was not safe. So I wasted about an hour of my life driving down here and searching the store for the thing I needed for nothing. The store is here to serve customers, not staff. I am an understanding person, but to not be given a minute to get what I needed because the staff stocking shelves comes first is ridiculous.

The Lowes in Brockton mass management did not treat me good . I was there to buy two log splitters that where on clearance. There where no tags on the them to say that where sold . I paid for the both of them with my Lowe's credit card. I said I would be back to pick them up . The next day Lowe's employee call my phone and said
That someone else bought them before me and there was a tag on them . That was not so because the female employee was with me and did not see any tags on them she checked because she said if there was she could not sell them to be. I asked to speak to the manager. He was not willing to help in any way asked him to see if he could locate one he said no . I asked for his name . He said he would not give it to me. Not happy at all . I have shopped at Lowe's for many years and never had a problem. I will never return to that store and I recommend others to do the same .

Good most of the time. We have gotten friendly and professional advice from the paint desk service reps. My husband and I were undecided on house colors and the rep was helpful without being obnoxious or nosy. Also they allow us to let our son run and explore the paint books which was really nice

Lowes dayville sold my family a new refrigerator. We plugged it in and proceeded to turn up the coldness in the fridge slowly over 48 hours to reach required coldness for food safety (As stated in the refrigeration manual). It never became cold enough. Lowes in dayville refuses to take the refrigerator back now as it has been over 48 hours. They say it is whirlpools issue after 48 hours. I buy alot of appliances from Lowes for properties i own. I liked the family setting over home depot, but this uncaring view has lost my patronage. Our family has no refrigeration unless whirlpool is willing to send a tech out, or we pay out of pocket. Lowes saying they support families and veterans seems to just be for the ads. Lowes selling $1900 of worthless non functioning appliance.

It seems like Lowes just responds to customers by posting the same message and really not fixing the problem..appearing to care..let's see if they respond to my review the same.

Always helpful staff. Folks were helpful with my questions about products and availability in the outdoor furniture department. The associate in the paint department worked with us to offer insights in what finish was best for our application by offering suggestions while explaining why the suggestion was appropriate.
