This is my favorite store and my husband's worst nightmare they have most everything you need for home improvement. My only complaint is getting an employee for assistance.

Called 4 times and was hung up on then I got a female who supposedly tried to help on fith call but it was more of run around cause she couldn’t find a 10,000 dollar plus order with contractor phone number or name or address and they are more than three weeks late!
So don’t buy from this store

Self check out lady says she will not give a Military discount unless I give homedepo a copy of my DD214. When I told her that document has lot of information I font believe is relevant for a 10%discount. She then told me my veteran ID is not valid proff I'm a veteran. The information homedepo wants is all data mining. They then sell this data. You offer a discount or you dont. Requiring personal information it requiring me to give you something gor the discount. Lowe's offers one with no requirements.

I came in today looking for a few different items and needed assistance to get PVC pipe cut to a specific length. I requested help from three different workers and all were very knowledgeable and eager to be of service. It was a positive shopping experience.

No issues with the Home Depot per se, but while dealing with the rude lady mixing my paint I observed her being quite snarky and condescending to an older gentleman, which really pissed me off. If it's an issue for you to do your job, just retire.

This location is truly awesome. They employ a great group of staff here. From curbside to in store pickup to delivery to paint and all the above. The staff here are very helpful and knowledgeable. Rental staff are great anytime I need a tool for a one time use. Curbside pickup is fast and friendly. 10 ⭐️ from me. I’ve been going to this location for the past 4 years and I can’t be more happier. Thank you to all the managers and all the staff putting in hours helping customers like me to accomplish our DIY projects. You’re awesome!

Excellent customer service!!
Found what I needed. Almost got the wrong thing. 16 ft wood trim to cut for a garden project. Sam was about to cut when I told him what it was for so he recommended pre cut 12 pack of wood steaks which worked out perfect. Plastic green mesh to keep deer out of the garden. Green spray paint to color the stakes. Turned out perfectly!

Do you think it’s a plan for checkers are really quite fine what we needed found something that would work. The gentleman from cabinet hardware guy just kept covering by like I was trying to steal something asking what I needed, but not really any helping LP services in training needs to be elevated in the store had associates definitely barking at the wrong alley for the wrong reason and they weren’t very accommodating or incognito about their inventions

Longview store is a joke. I ordered online, email said order is ready for pick up, i go to store to pick up order, the order was incomplete. Im disabled and it a real pain to drive, so when i was told the bad new, i canceled the order. I will reorder but it will be from Lowes. Home Depot is a joke

Only self checkout. However, each one of us using self checkout had their scanner lock up and require employee help. Would have been faster and cheaper to have real cashiers and registers.

Chris was amazing!! I walked in with my elderly mother who the night before had been dismissed by Lowe’s employees…Chris listened and found what she was looking for, he reassured her and then made sure that she got exactly what she wanted, the way she had asked (bed slats cut to a specific length). Then he walked beside her (in the riding cart) and put her products in her vehicle and helped her in her car. ABSOLUTELY EXCEPTIONAL!! Thank You Chris for your exceptional help!!

I have been a pro member of Home Depot for over 10 years. When I lived on the coast, I would drive an hour and a half to shop there. I've always had good experiences. Until today. I needed to return a window that was the wrong size. At 8:50 p.m. I arrived at the store. And yes they close at 9:00 p.m. But the door was locked and associated was on the other side of the door. He said, "I'm sorry we close at 9:00 p.m. I told him it wasn't 9:00 p.m. yet. He laughed and said, "According to him, it was 9:00 p.m. I drove 30 mins to get there before they closed, and now I have to drive back out here in the morning. And by the way. The reason for the wrong size windows was because an associate loaded the wrong window into my trailer. I was given a much bigger window than the one I purchased. Price differences are about $120. Anybody looking to buy a big window. I'll be shopping at Lowe's for now on. That's, on average, $10,000 a month that Home Depot will lose from me.

As an Elite pro member, having the option of going through the pro checkout line to help expedite the checkout process is convenient. Unfortunately, there is NEVER anyone there. 60 people trying to checkout today and nobody in the pro department.

So what’s the point of having a pro department when you don’t staff it properly. Make your pro members wait 20 minutes to checkout is not ok.

Tony who was working in the 17th isle section of the store at around 530 was absolutely beyond helpful, had great customer service, was very knowledgeable and able to prevent us from grabbing the wrong part and went to the extent of explaining how to do the installation in a very easy manner.
Bonus pionts for cracking some jokes.
We left the store with the right part and in a way better mood than when we arrived.
Thank you Tony we highly appreciate you!

Another store that begins announcing closing time over the loud speaker 30-40min before they actually close. There were only about 5 customers in the whole store at 1030pm. I know what time it is and that you're closing soon Home Depot. You really don't need to yell it at me every 10min to remind me that I need to leave the store. Trying to get ANY customer service during that timeframe is impossible. All associates mysteriously dissappear or become unavailable to help you get your items purchased so you can actually leave like they are so loudly reminding you to do in a timely fashion. Wth? Your customers are the reason there is a home depot to employ you. Way to make them feel like never coming back to shop there again.

Just spent twenty to twenty five minutes, waiting At isle twenty two bay sixteen. I asked four different employees for assistance to unlock the tools I wanted to purchase. I was only told that someone was on their way.
I have left your store and will now spend my money at your competitors.
It should be noted that we are currently workingon the largest project in your community.

Horrible customer service.

We went in earlier today and we were looking for flag poles as we had our flags already. We asked one employee and he gave us two different aisles to go to neither had anything close to what we were asking for. We asked another employee and he sent us to a different aisle anyways after feeling like we were on a wild goose chase literally going back and forth from one end of the store to the other many times, we came across Logan. Thank God for Logan, we wanted 3 there were only 2 but she checked and there were more in a box on an upper shelf she personally went out of her way to get what we wanted. It was nice to have an employee walk us to the right aisle and actually get it figured out for us, Thank you so much Logan for your customer service!!

I'M EDITING THIS REVIEW: SINCE MY ORIGINAL REVIEW I HAVE BEEN TO THIS STORE 2 TIMES AND EACH TIME THE STORE WAS CLEANED UP, THE BEEPING WAS ALMOST NON-EXISTENT, AND THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND EXTREMELY HELPFUL. I MAY EVEN PURCHASE MY APPLIANCES AND OTHER BIG ITEMS HERE NOW. I DON'T KNOW IF MANAGEMENT CHANGED OR WHAT HAPPENED, BUT WAY TO GO HOME DEPOT AND THANK YOU

Every time I try shopping here the store always is full of loud beeps and blocked aisles. It's so loud I had a bunch of stuff on my list but can't even think about what I need to buy and end up giving up and leaving every time. Its not a customer friendly environment and I give up. I'll just use Amazon from now on. It's less traumatic.

We Answer Frequently Asked Questions
Pricing questions
1. What is the average roof replacement cost for a residential home?
+-

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.

2. How much does it usually cost to replace the roof of a commercial building?
+-

The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.

3. What factors affect the overall roof repair cost?
+-

Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.

4. What is the typical roof leak repair cost, and how is it calculated?
+-

Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
