Has everything you need for house and more. Great service at this store. Definitely worth the visit when in town.

It’s a crap shoot when you go in there as to whether or not I can find what I am looking for. Several times I have been looking for something and asked for help and the employee couldn’t help me find it, when I continued to look after the employees had given up trying. I’d find it, and then I would find that person and then let them know where to find it. I was just in there and the power kept kicking off. I’m giving it a 3 because of convenience purposes. I don’t live more than 3 miles away from it so it is just easy to go there. The only other thing that I would have to say is that I have overheard on a few occasions where a woman was trying to look for something and she was getting help from an employee and he would try to “mansplain” it to her of what she needed often times I’m sure that it left her feeling pissed because she knew what she wanted or needed.

There is an employee named Justin that went above and beyond and gave me a few pig banks to put together bc I mentioned I liked them sp much

Customer service was amazing. I called in prior to making the trip asking if I could price match. They assured me that they could. Once I got there, I went straight to the customer service desk and worked with Olivia on product pricing. They also helped load everything up for me. I highly recommend Home Depot at the Teays Valley Location

Buyers beware...
I purchased a washer and dryer on 12/3/24 online from the Teays Valley location. My original delivery was 12/24/24 which got rescheduled since the appliances got delayed. I didn't mind the first reschedule.

Where my frustration started to rise was when we never got any communication about the reschedule. On 12/26/24 I ordered a refrigerator online. The delivery date for that was set for 1/4/24. Everything with the refrigerator went smoothly, now having two separate orders both my husband and I called to inquire if the washer and dryer could be delivered on the same day at our refrigerator. We were assured that would be the case.

On the 3rd we received the emails and texts about our fridge order, still not hearing about the first order we called (again) to ensure that all three appliances would be delivered. We get to the 4th and our fridge arrived right on time. That was great until they brought us the stacking kit without our washer and dryer. The delivery driver called the warehouse and instructed us to call the 800 number. Which I did. I was met with, "there's no confirmation that this should be delivered today" and "it'll be there 1/7." Zero care of what that requires for me to be available. Zero accountability to the fact 6 people confirmed the washer and dryer would be delivered 1/4.
I called the store hoping for more assistance, asked for a manager which I was denied, I gave the woman named Katherine a chance to assist. She listened and promised a manager would call back, this call was at 12:30pm. 4pm rolls around with no call back. My husband calls and got no one, appliances hung up when they tried to transfer it back.
So we just wait until today 1/7. We confirmed on 1/6 AND the morning of 1/7 that we will be getting the washer and dryer today. Both times we are assured they are coming today. We shovel the driveway and take off work. 11am we wait. 12:30pm I get an email saying we've been rescheduled to 1/15/25. No call. No reasoning.

We call again. They transfer us to GE (why we have no clue) we are told the warehouse has our appliances and it's up to the 3rd party delivery. But we can't get in touch with them. We offer to pick up the appliances, that's not allowed.

I go to the store. I'm patient and the woman named Kimberlee from appliances helps by calling the 800#. This takes 35 minutes. They FINALLY escalate the ticket and I ask for printed copies of their notes. I'm told I'll get my delivery the 15th, I'm told I'll get a discount that I'll have to call for and get refunded only AFTER my delivery is completed.

So now I have to take another day off work because the system doesn't populate a 4 hour delivery window until the night before. This is the dumbest least customer friendly experience I've had in a long time. No one is accountable. No one cares. This whole thing is a joke.

I will update once I receive my washer and dryer I paid $1700 for.

This is for my most recent purchase. I purchased a freezer and one other item during the Black Friday sale for pickup.

The freezer was outside of any box (I'm unsure if it had one) and it was the display model full of dents. I paid for a sale of a new product, NOT for a floor model that was dented. They didn't even bother to take off the paper and tags that were on it during display.

Here's the issue. Bought a samsung fridge, had it delivered September 8th. It doesn't function properly. Won't make ice or dispense water. Make a call, they send out a tech a week later. They determine that i need a new one. Ok, cool. They send a new one a week later. It shows up busted and dented up. (Have pics) my wife kindly refused and we wanted another. Ok, cool. Here's where the problem starts. The delivery guy, Marvin, is inappropriate with my high school daughter, lifts his shirt in my home (I was at work but have everything on security cam) and then after he leaves, proceeds to look her up on social media and sends her messages. Not ok, in the least. Creepy, and very odd behavior. Needless to say after that, I asked for a refund and for them to come and get their fridge. I'll be taking my money elsewhere. Just a warning, hide your daughters if you're getting a delivery from the teays valley store.

Just happened to be in Teays Valley & decided to "just look" at the Home Depot there. Nice store with lots of customers & activity. As luck would have it, I ended up buying 2 (1 is for a friend) wrought iron, round grid top patio tables like we've both been wanting for a few years now and the price was very good.

Jim in the rental department was very helpful getting us the right van for the job that was ahead of us you homedepot truly has it self a gem. Keep it up jim!

Had to pick up supplies for a low voltage CAT6 cabling job. They had everything I needed to complete the job, so I didn't have to make another stop.

Nicely stocked and ready for any season! Mums and Halloween are out by 9/11/24 with lots of new options. Tons of fall plants outdoors. Close to the interstate and eateries. Gasoline close by. Other shopping as well. Appliances of all brands and more!

Its a nice location with huge parking lot. Usually they have stuff in stock. People in other reviews complaining about customer service is true to an extend. I always find younger employees to help me and they are always very helpful. Even at self checkout, some people dont want to deals with you although now they only have 1 checkout and 6 self checkout. Younger lady at self checkout today was very energetic, professional, and helpful. Brought me an item on sale for me when she saw me buying a same product. Overall, im happy with shopping at this location.

It's okay just watch the busy hours. When everyone is just wandering around like it's a flea market. But most the time they have what I need as a builder remodeler.
