Booked Safelite on my phone for today Wednesday, at my work. Installer communicated his arrival. The repair took maybe an hour and my windshield looks excellent. There is a mark still, as expected. Looks more like a bug splat and is much smaller than the original chip. The surface is smooth "as glass". So happy with this excellent service.

It was raining and I had no place to get it inside so I drove it their shop for installation. They got the car in right away and replaced the windshield in a timely manner. Everything was explained to me very simply and I was on my way. All the employees were very personable and I would highly reccomend.

Tech was great and was very quick. Quality of work was great. Only thing I could possibly ding them on was there was a glass on my dash and in my vents left over from the windshield removal I have to have a detailed get out. Other than that they were quick to get me in and made the process very easy

This is the second vehicle in which I’ve had windsheilds installed by Safelite Rapid City in the last year. I was so impressed after the first installation that i didn’t even shop around when it came to the second one. The price was reasonable, and the quality of the installation was top-notch. The techs are well trained, and in my experience, very dependable, on time, and easy to work with. I’m a very satisfied customer.

The mobile windshield replacement van service was top notch. Our vehicle was back in our garage, but it wasn't safe to drive to the Safelite facility 50 miles away from our small town. It was easy to book an appointment, which was way sooner than we expected. The service man was efficient and careful about keeping glass from getting into the vehicle and not leaving any on the ground to drive over. The entire process was completed in a reasonable length of time. We definitely recommend Safelite to other drivers who might need this service.

Was not happy with having to pay them to recalibrate my Tesla. I had to do it here because it may be off an 1/8 inch. They did email me and tell me that I needed to have this done but did not tell me they required to do in here. I was going to do it myself if actually needed as I am pretty Savey at it. The $700 install was now going to be $1400 after driving 2 hours to get it installed. Make sure you ask them if you have to have this done too.

Super simple! I made the appointment online. On the day of the appointment, I received a call from the tech informing me he was on his way. I left the keys on my console, left the door unlocked. He arrived, replaced my windshield, and left. Upon leaving, he texted me to let me know he was done. Now I have a nice new windshield, and it was the smoothest process that a person could expect. AAA+++

Automated answering service is miserable. I wanted to ask if they were able to complete a repair given the weather was very cold. The automated answering system wouldn't allow me to talk to anyone directly. I got stuck in a loop that wanted me to either go to a website FAQ or start the automated quote process. Very frustrating and a waste of time. I called up Dakotaland who answered the phone immediately and got me in same day.

We are so pleased with the Safelite experience. From start to finish it was easy to search and find what we needed. I don't think they could have made it experience any easier.

These guys do great work! Couldn’t have been more satisfied with my experience. Got a nasty large chip on my new vehicle and decided to get the whole windshield replaced. Was able to coordinate almost the whole thing from my USAA app. Had the appointment scheduled within a few days and it took them only a couple hours to do the job. Despite my vehicle being a 2025 it only took them a couple of days to get an OEM windshield delivered. Looks brand new!

The contact number provided is automated. You can’t talk to a human even if you try. I asked for a representative, other, … I just hung up and did a search for another glass repair service. My problem involved two vehicles with different problems and needed to explain this to a representative to see what would be the best alternatives, scheduling, etc … nothing like this is on the menu.

Christine and the crew were very accommodating. They were able to arrange an appointment for me within two days of my initial contact with them. And though I couldn't have asked for more, they completed the repairs two hours early! This allowed me to get a jump on my three-hour drive back. The crew was very professional. It's what I've come to expect from Safelite. Great job!

First time using Safelite. Had a pencil eraser sized chip on windshield, right in middle of drivers line of sight. Safelite explained the process and all possible outcomes. My insurance company set up the appointment in advance. Staff was very courteous and professional. Repair too about 40 minutes to complete. Chip is gone. Very pleased with the outcome, looks great. Future chips will be handled by Safelite.

Was quick in and out 45min wait got a soda and played on my psp, couldn't even tell it the dude didn't point it out to me, yes there was still spider legs not perfect but better then the crack spreading thx guys saved my car from something worse

My windshield has an air leak and is whistling due to installation error. This store refuses to fix this mobile and expects me to take time off work and lose more money to go to them for their mistake. Do yourself a favor and don't waste time calling these people.

Love Safelite have been to several other companies for glass replacement and that was a huge mistake! These guys are fast, professional, use top quality glass always. This location has the best employees you could ask for! Also have coffee, soda and water available and decent snacks in the lobby while you wait. Cory their traveling tech is amazing, keeps you updated and does great at his job!

Honestly, if you have a choice go somewhere else. While I've had other good experiences with Safelite elsewhere the team here didn't meet expectations at all. My windshield is in worse shape after leaving and I now have to replace the full windshield instead of having to just have a chip replaced.

I was originally quoted $350, then I had a promo code that brought it down to $300. Thankfully for me I was going to pay in advance... When I went to check out the price went up to $416!!!!! I tried to ask customer service why, and she basically told me should wouldn't talk about it! Then told me to call an 800 number and ended the conversation!!!!

I got a quote from another company for $250 out the door, but was willing to pay the extra $50 for them to come to me, but after the $116 price jump AND the rude customer service.

Safelite has lost my business, and any future business I may have needed!

I had a chip fixed here while travelling and was charged $84. I never had a charge for a chip repair with my insurance but the staff insisted it was because of my type of windshield. Since the car was new I took their word for it. After a call to my insurance today I found out they never even submitted it to my insurance.

Amazing experience! We where on vacation and experienced vandalism. Safelite was very helpful and squeezed us in. They helped us deal with our insurance and even cleaned all the broken glass out as best they could so that our young kids wouldn’t get hurt! Super friendly and very professional.

scheduled my rock pit repair March 15th through the company insurance recommended, for today March 30th. this rockpit is smaller than the back of a bic pen, maybe the size of a green pea

at 1108am mst, their technician calls to explain that I should just get the windshield replaced because the pit repair is likely to fail due to the cold. Its sunny and a beautiful 42 degrees outside with temps rising. He explained that Safelite wont warranty the repair because it will most likely run or pop out. Right after he calls to share this happy information, I get an email demanding payment for an insurance covered repair.

at 1139am mst get a text message repair failed, and a picture of runs all the way across my windshield. so I called to see about having the windshield replaced....21 days wait, after just waiting 15 days, and it never ran until he tried to repair it. Another 400 expected, not professional at all

leaves a really bad taste in my mouth, and really really angry. 15+ years and numerous cars from a big family, and never had this happen. We did about 10 rock pits a year in SW co...first one here.

First their timeline is awful for when they’re going to show, I thought appts were made so you had a specific time set… secondly wasn’t impressed they moved us to the back of the list cause they couldn’t take a minute to call to have us put the dog in, 30 seconds and problem solved! Also I know our truck has current hail damage and doesn’t look amazing as it WAS used as a work truck until recently, but that’s no excuse to add scratches and not clean up the tar and glass on the dash afterwards… if we would’ve known about other complaints we would’ve never used you! I hope you do better for future customers! Our replacement was done on July 12th, 2022, probably our first and last experience with you.

This is the second time I had glass work done by Safelite! The first time it was a windshield and the tech that came out got the black sealant on the window pillar, this time it was to repair chips and I found 2 black marks on the same pillar? Also the guy who was looking for me when done tried to give my keys to the wrong person???
