Mr. Appliance of Sioux Falls

The Mr. Appliance receptionist was friendly and helpful. The Mr.A technician (Iman) was knowledgeable and informative. I recommend this company and this technician.

Mom has been living in her condo for about 25 days and the Whirlpool fridge went out. Called around and made an appointment on line and received a call that they would be out the next day.

Acceptable.

Iman shows up at approximately 1200 hrs, takes apart the fridge and tells mom that I will cost approximately 1150 to fix. No thank you, we will simply buy a new one. Iman put it back together and was on his way.

Mom nd I were meeting up at Home Depot to look at refrigerators nd she call me to let me know she had to turn around and head back to her condo due to water coming thru her ceiling into the apartment below her.

I beat her to the apartment and meet with the downstairs neighbor. Allows me in and the water is pouring into her living area thru the cold air intake. Took the vent down and discovered it was actually coming thru the space in between the vent and the drywall...

The police, fire dept, Howe plumbing all show up and just cannot figure it out. Then, a FF asked me if we had the refrigerator looked and and said yes. They move the refrigerator and it was dry underneath... but between the 2 Fire Fighters, they weighed enough for water to squeeze up in between the wooden floor slats.

Looked around and found the cut off valve for water going to the refrigerator. Topped the water flow to the apartment downstairs.

Called Iman's dispatch and had him come back out. Explained what had happened and how he was goimg to make it better. Told me to call the Howe plumber back out and he and his supervisor would respond.

The next day, Iman refused to take my phone call several times. Called the dispatcher and asked for a supervisor to my mother's location. John (refused to give me his last name, but claimed to be one of the owners) called me back, pretty much called me a liar and "you people always trying to get over".

Hummmm... 1200hrs no water in the neighbors condo (for the last 5 years)
Your employee works on my mother refrigerator and 4 hours later, a small pool of water in the neighbors condo. Then, a licensed plumber comes out and state that the water connection wasn't even finger tighten.

Just own the fact that a mistake was made. But calling me a liar was the worse possible thing you could have done. Now, it's about integrity and your business lacks it.

Simply waiting on the actual report from the Howe plumber, then will continue legal action, however if they make it right, so will i.

Joe did an amazing job! He showed up on time, took the time to show me what was wrong, and fixed it in an efficient manner. Without going into detail I can tell you this company takes pride in it's customer service. If there's an issue reach out and they will do their best to fix it. I'm very impressed!

Needed washer fixed immediately, from the receptionist who scheduled my appointment within the next hour to Cody who did the repair, it was seamless and professional. Cody was very personable and knowledgeable and quickly zeroed in on the problem and got it fixed for me. I will call them again.

Mr. appliance came to fix my ice dispenser on my refrigerator. My technician was very courteous.Showed up on time and did a good job. Ihad some problems with the billing which the Mr appliance staff resolved for me in a satisfactory way. i will use them again.
Just as a precaution I will get a quote before any work begins to avoid any billing issues.

Sani with Mr. Appliance diagnosed the problem immediately, ordered the necessary parts for my washing machine, then quickly replaced the broken parts as soon as they came in. Sani was very personable and explained the warranty. Great service all around. I would recommend this service to anyone needing appliance repair.

Sani & Cody repaired the heating element in the school dryer and cleaned out the compacted ductwork from the wall to the roof. They were not only very professional, they were efficient and friendly as well.

Great service. Called back within a few moments of contacting them. Sani the tech was very respectful and professional when he came to fix our dryer. Great all around experience.

I called at 830AM and Iman was out that afternoon to take a look at my dryer and got it running that same day! He was professional and thorough in the repair. Mr Appliance is who I will always recommend!

Not such a positive experience. Paid the $125 service call to have our dryer checked. The service tech tried turning on the dryer..said”yep it’s the motor”. Quoted us $800 to repair. Never took a screw out. Second opinion…the motor is fine. There was a piece of clothing stuck in the vent motor. Victor at Spin Cycle fixed it for less than $100 and NO
Follow up on our bad experience..Mr. Appliance called to apologize for our bad experience. Refunded our service call fee.

The ice maker in my freezer was leaking, while the refrigerator was still covered by an extended warranty, I was told after filing a claim that they were unable to find anyone to come out to service it(I live about 30 minutes from Sioux Falls). Historically, I have had a hard time finding anyone that would come out to service appliances, so I was pleasantly surprised when I called Mr. Appliance and was told that not only do they come to my area, but they would be able to come out the following day!
The following morning Sani Lefaoseau Jr. arrived to my home and within a few minutes he had already identified the issue and began removing the ice maker to clear the obstruction. He showed me where the issue was, cleared it, and re-installed my ice maker. I enjoyed visiting with Sani while he worked and appreciated the time he took to show & explain the problem to me so that I know what to do if it ever happens again -although Sani assured me that it is unlikely to recur.
It's now been about 24 hours since the repair and my ice maker seems to be working as it should with no signs of leaking water.
Would definitely recommend Mr. Appliance!

Iman was awesome. Came when he said he would, quick diagnosis of the washer (had to wait a day for the part), but was quick, efficient and friendly. Will be using them again for any future appliance repairs.

Give that guy Joe Olsen a raise. He was super professional, personable, and got our dryer fixed and gave me a crash course on preventative maintenance! The price was also affordable and definitely better than getting a new dryer.

I am only giving 1 star as this is the lowest rating they have....if it were up to me they would receive 0 stars.
My technician showed up 2 hours late, then proceeded to ask for repair equipment as he was not prepared. After wasting an hour of my time and my tools he advised that I call a plumber so he could do the job.
Please don't waste your time or money with this company!

Sani literally turned his truck around to do a late afternoon service on our washing machine. He did a very thorough job and gave us some advice on how to maintain the machine. He is definitely the person you should call for your problem.
