My shopping experience at Lowe's is limited. There competitor is near by and it was easier to go there. My experience at Lowes today was a bit better than across 19th and I will start going here first. Good job Lowe's. I think this is a good box store with nice staff if you need home improvement supplies.

The prices and products were pretty good, but the service was bad. After getting everything we went to the self checkout to pay, but it didn't work so we waited for about 20 minutes for an employee, finally we went to the employee ran checkout and she was very rude and wasn't doing her job

My mom bought an as-is sliding door from Lowe's 3 months ago, assured it had all parts. It didn’t. Today, we tried to get 3 missing parts she’s been chasing since the purchase. Two parts (handle and screen) won’t arrive for over a week, and the locking mechanism is still missing, leaving our house unsecured for months. The manager, Michael, saw no issue and repeatedly defended himself by saying selling a discounted door was a favor. His dismissive attitude was frustrating. My first visit to Lowe’s since new management showed an empty store with dispirited staff. We won’t return until service and management improve.

We came in looking for a fridge and a brand new range for our home that was available for same day purchase! He showed us a lot of different options and found us everything in stock ready to go. Carol had it together. Tried 4 different laminated choices. She found a pattern that had 50 boxes. I needed 40 and her computer set me straight. It took 10 min. It would have been tough without help. She gets a 10.

Thought we had somebody helping us, we picked out a washer with the guy and a patio furniture set, waited for a good while for him to come back only to find him helping someone else in customer service. At 5 on a Sunday. There were a ton of people working, probably 5 employees to one customer ratio. We couldn’t try and harder to spend money there. I’m not sure these folks know how retail works.

Do NOT get an appliance installed from Lowe’s! My contractor showed up high as a kite, got water everywhere, bled all over my new appliance, and texted me at 9:30pm the night before to confirm the appointment. I asked Lowe’s to have another contractor come out to check on the install, and the same contractor was sent! Once again, that contractor did not confirm that they were coming the next day. It was a terrible experience, and I will genuinely never buy anything from Lowe’s again, especially not an appliance. I’ve made sure that none of my friends or family use Lowe’s going forward, either. Lowe’s offered me $25 gift card for the trouble. Are you serious? A free install would have been better. Additionally, many of the customer service reps were super rude after I complained about the issue. Complete nightmare of an experience. The dishwasher itself is great, but it wasn’t worth the installation process.

A shout out about William in the paint department, he's satisfactorily helped me during previous visits, but today he found a significant amount of cash (which fell out of my pocket) and announced it over the loudspeaker. When I responded to the announcement and identifed the amount, I was able to reclaim it. So grateful for his honesty -- whew! Then...I had a custom color of exterior paint that I needed closely matched for a touch-up project (my reason for being there this morning), and Dragon spent nearly an hour working to provide a paint color that matched to perfection. Her artistic background is definitely beneficial in her position there -- she's so good at it! It's hard to find such good custmer service these days...these two employees are gems!

I had a great shopping experience with the help of Stephen F. In the tile and flooring areas. I was buying tile for a new construction walk in shower and also flooring for an ADU apartment I'm building. Stephen was well versed in the products, answering my millions of questions as they came to mind. After talking for a few minutes he had a pretty good sense of what color and layout scheme I had in mind. As such he made some great product suggestions which I gladly followed.

All in all a very pl and productive stop for me.

This place isn't what it used to be. I was there today shopping for some potting mix and other garden supplies. As I was trying to check out in the greenhouse some woman said, "sorry, we just locked the door". It was 2:30.
So I had to go back inside where there was only one cashier, for the entire store. I wasn't about to stand in that line. I left my shopping cart there and went home. Going to order everything I need from Amazon. I'll get it quicker there!

I walked up to 7 employees asking for help in flooring and everyone just looked at each other and didn't seem like they wanted to help me. They sent another employee to help me but she did not know the department at all and said that we could order samples online. That is not true so we are taking our business to Home Depot for all our needs. Please work on your customer service and knowledge of your site.

We bought a refridgerator a double oven a microwave and a dishwasher from lowes within months dishwasher door falls off, then ice maker does not work ans also oven. They are ckaiming we have to figure out whats wrong send videos. We have waranty with an extra 3 year waranty! We are getting total run around! Dont buy zline or from Lowes! We have bought alot of stuff from this store! This is how we are treated!

Up to just recently I used to really like the local Lowe’s but when they start treating you like your second class citizens and that your service doesn’t matter, it really becomes a problem. I’ve tried to return an item and get my money back. They have fought me tooth and nail on it now what I’m trying to confirm once the item has been completely returned to them that I get my money back. I get placed on hold for over 40 minutes and still haven’t talked to a body. I doubt I’ll be going to Lowe’s anytime in the next several years.

Dealing with the annoying AI "associate". I even requested to speak with a manager. Still waiting. You need to work on this. Because your customer service sucks.

I’m very disappointed with the experience of buying a new refrigerator from here. I was sold on this Bespoke (Samsung) fridge that was displayed in white and I told the associate would not work as I had stainless steel appliances. He said that I can order panels that insert into the glass to give it any look that I want. I was under the impression that these were coming with the delivery, but they did not. I called Lowe’s and they told me that I need to order these panels directly from Samsung. While I do not recall this, my girlfriend was with me when I purchased and she said they did tell me that, so I’ll eat that one. But she said we were told that the panels cost $60 total (she took meticulous notes). After struggling dealing directly with Samsung for about an hour, it’s currently costing me an additional $350 to get the stainless steel look that I want, not $60 as we were told, and that $350 doesn’t even include one of the four panels that I need because it is currently out of stock and they don’t know when they will get it again. Had I known what this would really cost and if I heard that I had to deal directly with Samsung for this, I never would have purchased this refrigerator. Their third party delivery service also dropped the ball with their communication and decided to go home for the day after they informed me that they were on their way to me with my refrigerator. I hustled to clear the driveway and I stayed home all day for them, simply to ignore me and go home for the day rather than communicating with me. I am very disappointed in this experience and I am very unlikely to shop Lowe’s ever again.

Maybe being such a large corporation, you could do a little more to help your community, like fixing the ginormous pot hole, located at one of your entrance sites that has caused damage to my tire. Maybe you could even go so far as to help the people in this community who can no longer afford the astronomical rental prices, or the overall price of e everything in this town for that matter, so they are forced to stay the night in their cars, after working all day, doing deliveries for other giant cooperations like yourself. Maybe cooperations like yours, Walmart, Home Depot, etc. could get together and agree to start paying people in this country a liveable wage, but instead, I noticed you have chosen to make your contribution to the ones who are struggling by posting a sign instead. Nice job!

Almost all employees were helpful. Yhey located a pallet of bottled water that was not put in the area where it was advertised. The nice and personable lady at the self check went with me to the courtesy counter to inquire as to the location of the cases of water that had been there the previous day and they immediately called back to some stockers. However, between the gentleman that checked me out, the lift operator and acvompanying flagger, no one seemed to be interested in helping me load a heavy case of water that was thirty feet away. They drove right past me as they went to the spot where the water was to be displayed. Other than making me work hard to give them business they were quite pleasant.

I had been looking all over town for a Pumpkin carving kit. Everyone was out. I opened up my Lowes app and saw you guys had them. They were up front and easy to find. I appreciated this as I was in a hurry. Then I went to self checkout( I hate self checkout) but Patrick was was there to help and got me out the door quickly! Thanks

I find it interesting that I shopped at the Helena Lowes store on 10/02/2024 and found EcoLights on clearance and bought them with ease. So, I then went to Bozeman's Lowes in hope I could buys some more. Here's the fun part. I found the exact same brand and package also on clearance, but extremely overpriced, guess that's what's okay with Lowes now. So, one of their employees informed me to see if the store would honor the Helena store.... Should have seen this coming, no we won't honor that because each store has some lead way to the "clearance" items to not honor another stores price. Remind me then why does Bozeman's Lowes considering themselves a Lowes then? By the way I had the receipt to show them that I bought them in Helena. I'm almost tempted to return my last purchase and then shop either at Home Depot, Ace, Kenyan Noble, anywhere but Lowes.

Do not recommend delivery! I cant even shut the door to my garage! Nothing is hooked up and they put them in backwards. The worst experience I have ever had with a delivery! When I called the store they just wanted to take a message . Never shopping with lowes again what a joke!

Came in after going to HD and Walmart not having what I needed. Was building a wooden American flag and had a really hard time figuring out how to stain/paint it by myself. Luckily, William from the paint department helped me and was an absolute godsend. He used his expertise to find what I needed, and when it wasn't on the shelf, he mixed up some samples for me and confidently said it would work. Using the paints later, it is clear William is an absolute master in his field and an employee that went above and beyond to help out the customer!

As a business we are happy to work with Lowes to purchase salt for our water treatment systems. We are especially grateful for the excellent customer service from Jason Kieffer that we experience each time we receive a delivery of salt. We have been impressed by his respectful approach, thoroughness with his paperwork, care with which he delivers product and how he talks through the process of placing the shipment in our shop. He is adept at using the equipment provided him and thoughtful about how he moves about on the Moffett forklift while on our property. We choose to schedule our deliveries on days when Jason is available because we are always satisfied with the level of care and efficiency he employs!!

Everyone who helped my sister and myself have been amazing! The best was a guy named Steven who helped us get our new fridge set up for delivery. We had to come back due to a technical problem with my sister losing her credit card, so we had to come back. The next guy helped us again and got our order set up. They even delivered everything, set it up, and took away the old fridge on LABOR DAY 2024! These guys deliver basically on all major holidays feom what I remember saying so beyond perfection. Jose and Mario were incredible and fast and were amazing about getting the old fridge( maybe 20 plus year old fridge)out of an old building.

Down an entire isle of screws with philips head screws. It was specifically what I needed wasn't to be found with their help. Gave up and went home.

Needed manager approval to return an item and the female manager that was standing there couldn’t even be bothered to turn around and help us initiate the return. Bought my kitchen faucet here, had the worst customer service experience of my life and haven’t been back since. From sales person to installer to manager refusing to help for months with a defective product that was installed and immediately faulty. Go across the street to Home Depot or anywhere else in Bozeman for your needs!

First of all let me caution anyone who reads this review against purchasing any housing materials such as flooring, carpet, cabinetry, countertops, etc. and especially their installation services! You are unlikely to receive any quality of service whether regarding the installation itself or the communication and “customer service” to go along with it.

My wife and I purchased and scheduled a carpet installation approximately 10 weeks ago and had planned for the installation date as it is the only day in the week that we can make work with our schedules and had completely torn apart two rooms of our house and cluttered and stuffed the other two rooms with everything that had to be moved for the installation. The installation was set for 8-11AM and I had received a confirmation of the appointment that morning around 8:00AM. After 11:00AM had come around, my wife and I had still received no communication as to update us of the status of the installation team.

I tried to contact the point of contact (POC) for the job but received no answer back. I called the office of the installation service, a full half hour after the ending of the appointment time at 11:00AM and also a half hour after having reached out to POC for an estimated time of arrival for the installation team. The contact at the office told me, after 30minutes on hold, that the POC was trying to contact the installation team and would get in touch with me with an ETA for the installation team. I did not receive a response. I called office again and they reached out to the POC, and were apparently able to get in contact with them again while I still could not, who I still had not heard from at this point (it is about 12:30PM at this point) and was told that the installer had received an injury the previous day and that there was no choice but to reschedule. The POC called me another 1/2 hour later to tell me the same things as I had already been told by the contact with the office. I expressed my frustrations at having received a rather shoddy installation of laminate flooring 2 years prior, to which there was no apology given only deflection as to the installation service being free from any blame and instead the POC states that Lowe’s itself was to blame for the mishandling of that order and installation let alone this one. The lack of communication and rescheduling after rearranging the entire house and working around my wife and my work schedules to fit this appointment in only to have it rescheduled for days which we have to work and cannot be present for the installation were the last straws for us. We canceled our installation in order to find a more competent and professionally communicative service for installation. When attempting to contact Lowe’s customer service on the matter my wife and I were hung up on by the customer service staff without them having even answered the phone.

I began shopping at Lowe’s because in general I felt them to be more welcoming, engaging, and helpful than Home Depot, a place where my family shopped for home projects almost exclusively (along with Ace Hardware) since I was a child. It is a shame that after several years I no longer feel as though any of these qualities are present at least within their Bozeman location.

I would strongly recommend avoiding Lowe’s at all cost for any housing projects and installation services! You are likely to receive sub-standard work and a complete lack of communication for the significant amount of money that is paid for their installation services. Better to spend your money with a quality local service that has more honesty and dedication to their profession.

I am very disappointed with their service. We took a risk and decided to use their installation service for some ceiling fans in our bedrooms to save money. We signed on for their 8-11 am time slot figuring that the contractor would arrive on the earlier end of things so as to not interrupt our children’s naps. It is10:45am and I haven’t heard a thing from the installer. I have called all the service lines to get answers and have received no answer’s, all while trying to manage my kids. I would not recommend using their services. Spend the extra money and hire a local contractor directly. Don’t waste your time with Lowe’s. At this point, I’m inclined to demand a refund on three installation cost and hire a local.

Edit: it is 11 am. We signed up for the 8-11 am time slot and still no word or no installer. I will be contacting Lowe’s for a refund on this service that they failed to provide.

Edit: it’s 11:40 am. Still no installer.

Edit: 12:03 pm Lowe’s was entirely unhelpful and rude. The manager seemed unbothered by the fact that I wasted my whole morning waiting on this service and took on a condescending tone when I asked what they could do about this issue. I will never use their services again nor will I ever recommend them. I will continue on using Home Depot, Ace and Kenyon noble.

I bought 6 5 gallon jugs of paint which I wanted to be tinted dark purple, when I got home it was diarrhea green when I went to have them retint it I was belittled and screamed at by a manager of paint named ben. Saying to me the reason why it was green was because the paint was thick. I will never go to lowes again after being humiliated by Ben and talking to the manager Paul on the phone who said it was in fact our fault the paint was tinted green not the fact that there was yellow paint all over the lid and there was nothing they would do to fix it!!! NEVER EVER GO HERE!!!!
