Pete and his crew were amazing from start to finish! We had a different company install a new chimney for us (for price reasons) and the chimney kept leaking from from the outside. Had that company come out twice and still leaking... Spoke to Pete about the problem and they were able to sneak me into their schedule quickly. They fixed the problem, no more leaks! They also put a deflector for melting snow on the roof (which the other company never even mentioned as an option).... Hasn't leaked since! Our system was a pretty basic straight pipe and I asked about some back draft issues. They told/showed me how to clean my screen by myself to save us time and money. Not only are they prompt and professional but they also care about people too! Won't ever think about using anyone else. Thanks again Big Sky Chimney!!!

I have been using Big Sky Chimney for years because of their excellent service . I called them last week because a stone came off the chimney. The office took into consideration the temperature and scheduled Jeff to come in the next day .Jeff was very thorough , took pictures and did an excellent job in repairing the chimney . He also did the chimney sweep and checked the gas fireplace .

Jeff the technician did a great job in putting back in place the stone which came dislodged on the exterior of the chimney. Also Tyler and Tod did an amazing job in cleaning the fireplace and being conscientious in keeping the area clean. Highly recommend Big Sky Chimney.

Big Sky Chimney's expert technician, Jason Scalon (CSIA Certified), completed service for my VC (Vermont Casting) Encore catalytic wood stove that included a complete chimney sweep to remove flue blockage and replacement of gasket rope... Helpful maintenance and upkeep points were shared... This appointment was made in a timely manner (within 1 week) after reporting some alarming concerns and diminishing stove operation, all of which were found during the appointment to have posed a serious safety hazard had the stove not been professionally serviced and repaired by an expert technician such as Jason. Thank you Big Sky Chimney for another superb service appointment and for swift scheduling... If left uncorrected these repairs would have posed serious safety risks.

The whole team at Big Sky Chimney are exceptional! Pete is so knowledgeable and really took the time to explain the different options available to us in regards to fixing and updating our old fireplaces. Tyler came out on a few occasions to do work and was extremely timely and professional. I contacted Big Sky Chimney for fireplace and chimney cleaning and evaluation. We have lived at our current address for 6 years and we felt that we lagged on getting our fireplace and chimney checked out. It is a wood burning fireplace that is used regularly in the winter and occasionally the remainder of the year. We use 1 1/2 or 2 cords of wood annually.
Big sky Chimney scheduled an inspection at a convenient time for us. Jeff, the technician, arrived on time. He was considerate, pleasant and professional. The service took about an hour. We received a thorough report by email.

Scott did an awesome job cleaning our chimney. He arrived on time, explained the process, completed his work, and took a few minutes to go over what had been done. Nothing but professional service from arrival to departure...and not a spec of ash was left on our brand new rug.

Great service! Jeff came in to clean out our chimneys and found cracks in one of our stoves and also a crack in the pipe in the other stove. He squeezed us in the next day to install a new pipe and triple checked it for no smoke leaks. Very happy with service, friendliness and punctuality. He even chatted with my 5 yo about Pokémon while he was cleaning up! I highly recommend.

These guys are top notch and they do it by the book. Pete knows all the codes inside and out and his installations are safe, strong and completely code compliant . Hard-working courteous and professional they will definitely take care of any fireplace or chimney need.

We use our stove each winter in comfort knowing it has been inspected and cleaned as though it were in their home with their family around it. They do it all, and they do it with courtesy, kindness, and outstanding professional service. They were recommended to us and we will recommend to others.

These folks came highly recommended, and we can see why. We have a larger Tulikivi with an oven, a smaller Tulikivi, and a Helo Sauna stove. Sara did a great job of sending a reminder and keeping the schedule on track. Pete and Tyler showed up exactly when she said they would. They wore masks, got right to work, and clearly knew what they were doing. We couldn't have asked for better. The Tulikivis are slightly more challenging to clean and service. They didn't leave a trace. All three stoves and chimneys were cleaner than they have ever been. Pete even gave us some tips on how to get a bit more heat efficiency from our stoves. We have no qualms recommending these folks.

The incredible (customer) service we received, from a very prompt (after hours!) reply of Sara's to my voicemail, the extremely friendly, professional follow-up the next day, a reminder text the day before the appointment, to the being on-time of the technician, and a very pleasant, friendly, professional, thorough, and personal approach of the technician, Tyler, was noteworthy! Yes, he even wore a mask when he arrived, which, during Covid-19, was very much appreciated.

I have used big sky chimney for
years for two locations.. There are some clearners that are more show but poor results. Fireplaces can accumulate soot and be very dangerous. At least once a year cleaning is a smart thing to do.

Another year, 2024 my chimney over the years needed to be repositioned and flange replaced. Chimney sweeps only clean. Big Sky Chimney diagnosed and fixed the problem. Pete, his wife & the team are great to work with. For full service fireplace care, Big Sky Chimney are great!
