Just cancelled $3,000 order, will never order anything for delivery again. Don't recommend ordering anything that has to be delivered unless you can afford to wait a month to get it, and have the time to waste sitting at home waiting for a delivery that probably won't show up.

First delivery, I received an email (2 hours into the scheduled time) that the delivery was rescheduled. Said the mower wasn't even at their store yet. Called to ask how I could make sure it would be there next time, was told I would find out when it showed up (or didn't).

It's now the new delivery date, time window came and went, no delivery. Through multiple calls, transfers to other departments and probably an hour total on hold, I received an email that I would need to call to reschedule.

From some of the other reviews, a failing delivery system seems to be a trend with this location. Recommend shopping elsewhere for delivered items.

Beware online purchases.

I just cancelled a 3000 dollar order because for four days double that amount has been pending on my bank account. Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone at this store better luck getting a manger and once you do they just put you on hold for twenty minutes or until which time you hang up and they dint have to deal with you.
I will never make this mistake again.

Is there a zero star, customer service it is a joke. We have stood in here for almost an hour and have asked for service in the grills. They have called 5 times and no one’s came. I asked to see the manager and once again no one came. What does a person have to do to get service in this place . This is after spending almost an hour in appliances waiting for someone to give us time after we begged for it there. It is definitely a store out of control with poor management !!!!!!

**Watch your appliances! Worst experience ever.**

I paid an extra $75 for delivery when I ordered some roofing panels from Lowe’s. Right after buying, they started rescheduling my delivery — four or five times — always with a different excuse. Every time, they would ask me to be home all day for the delivery window, forcing me to rearrange my schedule — and then cancel last-minute, completely wasting my day.

I called the store several times and they kept insisting the panels were out of stock. Finally, I drove down there myself and saw them sitting right there on the shelf. When I asked, they told me they had to get them from another store. None of it made any sense.

After calling them out, they finally sent a truck. When the driver opened the back, it was a disaster. My panels were crushed under someone else’s refrigerator, with a pile of other people’s appliances — washers, dryers, refrigerators — tossed in loose. **Nothing was tied down at all.** Every bump and turn was smashing thousands of dollars’ worth of deliveries before they even reached the customers.

It somehow got even worse: while trying to unload someone else's refrigerator, the driver **walked all over my panels**, crushing and cracking them even more right in front of me. **If you're buying an appliance from Lowe’s, there’s a good chance it’s already been damaged before it hits your driveway.**

I refused the damaged delivery, but the nightmare didn’t stop. They scheduled and canceled deliveries another 14–16 times. Same pattern every time: "Be home all day," then cancel at the last second. I kept calling, and every time they blamed it on an "inventory issue." But if it really was an inventory problem, why would they keep rescheduling daily instead of setting a real date when stock was available? It made no sense. At that point, it honestly felt like they were just trying to frustrate me into canceling the order myself.

Chat support was useless — all they would give me was a generic 800 number. I finally called it, and it turned out to be the **regional office**. The person I spoke to said they would forward a refund request to another store, but when I asked to actually file a complaint about how badly this was handled, they put me on hold to “find a manager” — and left me there for 20 minutes until I finally gave up.

Lowe’s clearly has no real way to hold anyone accountable — not at the store level, not at the regional level, not anywhere.

In the end, all I got was wasted time, broken promises, and no real help. Save yourself the stress. **If you value your appliances — or anything else you’re having delivered — shop somewhere else.**

Home Depot is the best Equipment Rental store in Hattiesburg. See Richard for advice on equipment for rent. All the equipment is new and well maintained. Previously I used TAYLOR rental but their equipment was always used and broke down. Home Depot rental is open seven days a week and has chainsaws, excavators, skid steers, trenchers.

Rude,when I approached counter the person that checked me out turned her back as I was lst walking up acting like she was moving items around in a bend put she really wasn't and would not turn and look at me until I asked it she was a cashier she snapped replied are you ready to check out i was standing at counter with item in my head. This is the worst Lowe's I've ever been at I went back over there again today they had blocked off the electrical aisle with outlets and other electrical supplies had two pallets in the aisle they put gates up on each end of the aisle and just evidently went on break there was me and at least five other customers that waited and waited they they did finally when I got on the phone with customer service someone working at the front end finally got on the PA speaker and repeatedly asked the people the employees to come back and open house 7 or where people could get electrical supplies and they walked out with such an attitude I've never seen anything like it I spent over 30 minutes I tried talking to a manager that cleaned the beer manager but had no name tag on it offered no Health said that corporate corporate doesn't allow him to do any more than what they're doing for customers Annie on the show if I wanted to call corporate and file a complaint I work local for the past 3 weeks in this area and I've been having to go to this Lowe's quite regular the past 3 weeks sometimes two or three times a day they will not help you locate anything I had an elderly woman come on to me and asked me to help her to find something cuz she could get no Lowe's employee to help her this is by far one of the worst Lowe's I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with they made it very clear that they do not care the two that had blocked off the I was looking at me and other five customers like how dare we have them call back to open the aisle

Out back in the garden section today and am giving a huge compliment to D, Cesar, and Jamiah, and Dan back in the garden area. We're picking up some garden pathway stones and they are helping us out loading big time with the forklift. Also, I always regularly have wonderful interactions with Damien over at the contractor side of the store checkout too

Purchased a lawn mower. Was supposed to be delivered Tuesday. Waited all day and then the date changed on the app at the end of the day to Thursday by 1:30. Called store 3 times and they said they can't contact delivery driver. Well it is now passed 1:30. No update, no phone call nothing. Will not be shopping at lowes again. Two days stuck waiting for this item so far. With no idea when I can expect this mower. Terrible experience. Update: no one will answer, hours on hold. App now updated and says the 24th of next week another 5 days away! This is ridiculous. What is going on with lowes? update : finally delivered thursday noon, delivery driver very professional and polite

UPDATE...despite mgt response to my original review, today was no better.
I attempted to return a Lowes Brand light fixture that I purchased several weeks ago, explained the delay due to my moms extended illness and subsequent passing a month ago. It's not the money, and I did forget the return within the time frame allowed. BUT a little courtesy and consideration would have gone a long way to change my opinion. I could have lied said I paid cash and bought it last week. But since I was up front about the details, I got the line about corporate policy.
Just sad.

Ordering system non functional, clueless customer service eager to transfer calls elsewhere... not going to spend any more money here ever. I'll drive to Gulfport where they give a damn.

Help is sometimes hard to find almost nonexistent !!!! Whoever is answering the phone needs to be taught the proper protocol. I’ve been on the phone for almost 2 hours today trying to check on an existing order. We spend thousands of dollars there a month through our businesses and unfortunately it’s almost like they do not care about the customer anymore, after the ninth time of me calling, I specifically ask for one person at the project managers desk and she thought she had hung up but I could hear her talking in the background laughing about transferring me and putting me on hold. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I cannot stand going there anymore. I will be trying to seek other places for my purchases !! You can’t get customer service on the phone. You can’t get the contractor side on the phone. You can’t get the appliances on the phone. You can’t get any help from anybody. I realize help is hard to find these days for we too own a business, but I would never allow my employees to treat people the way they treat their customers. It’s a shame !!!
