Update to William Archers post. One issue we just had a problem with after the fact is we were informed that we are being charged for any additional plywood that the company didn't take in consideration. We were under the impression that any old plywood that needed to be replaced on the roof was part of our contract. There was a time when the install was put to a halt because we didn't have any plywood on site. They brought in two 4x8's that we seen in the yard after the fact. My husband rerieved a call from their project manager saying that more material was being sent out and it's being taken care of but we still weren't informed that we were going to be charged extra for this. Apparantly we were supposed to just assume that the company would only supply so little sheets of plywood for a home that is about 3000sq ft and as we were informed had a lot of very soft spots and was rotting. So how could the company think that only 4 sheets would've been good enough to replace all the bad spots and not let us know in advance that we may have to pay for any extra plywood after only 4 sheets. The holes in our roof wasn't even covered or patches up all the way there were still some significant gaps but they left with over half a sheet of plywood that would've been sufficient enough to have done a better job for the holes.

Other than those issues Ilan Habersham was still an amazing person to work with and we are still very grateful that our roof is atleast better than what it was.

Ilan Habersham is very respectful, easy to talk to and not once did I get the impression he was in a rush. I gave him the rundown just how terrible our roof was and he gave a sense of genuine compassion towards our family. Before pitching company products he took his time to walk the roof for a long time. Once he came down he still didn't pitch anything, he took his time explaining why we are facing the issues we have and what should've been done initially. He than explained in detail what the company offers, and how each material compliments the other for the whole system to function in the way it should. Every price we got was half the price I've received from these other companies who didn't come out but would look from a satellite image and give an estimate. The down payment was gonna take us 3 months and our roof as bad as it was I didn't feel that was the best option so i asked for another option but luckily he added the sunroom and our porch to the estimate. He was more than willing to do what he could to help us get a new roof, and of course a sale (haha). Removing the porch and Sunroom plus a discount he gave us, it was possible to get what we wanted not in 3 or 2 months but less than a month which I thought wasn't even feasible. He asked if it's going to be an insurance claim and that was a whole other story but even though he had his sale he just recommended that we wait and see if he might be able to help us with that. After a couple days he wasn't able to but he still tried. He found me a finance company instead, which had the best interest rates I've ever seen so when I was thinking I'm gonna be looking at a monthly payment of $300 or so it ended up being half of that. He didn't care how early or late it was, If I had a question he wanted to make sure everything was clear, no miscommunication nor misunderstandings in any way. Once it was time to get workers out here Ilan came by and made sure everything was going smoothly and constantly kept making sure that we are satisfied with everything and even checked on the workers.
The workers were amazing to be around. They arrived no later than 0630 every morning. They climbed on the roof full of energy and not at all like they didn't want to be here. Once they got on the roof they were hard at work nonstop. Watching them work together was like watching a tactical unit, they worked so in sync like cogs in a machine. My wife and I spent nearly all day watching this transformation take place before us and not once did we get the feeling they felt we were micromanaging them. We walked around and some would wave at us and another got our attention pretending he lost his balance and we had a good chuckle or we would have a casual conversation now and than with some of them. During lunch breaks they weren't gone long and they didn't start packing up until around 2030. Not only was there a lot of rot, but there were holes were there wasn't any plywood so the second day had a small standstill waiting for extra material
Which lastly brings me to best choice roofings customer service and its project manager. I never had to wait forever to get someone to answer. Questions or concerns I had was squared away instantly. If I was told someone would relay a message then not once did they not hold up to it. Which may seem small but with my experience it takes a long time to get someone on the phone and if your told they'll have someone call you back than usually neither of that actually happens but I never once had an issue. In regards to the project manager I spoke to him once due to a concern they may not have enough materials on site. He called and he just informed me they had more materials coming out right away cause including myself nobody really knew the extent of the underlying issues that were underneath the old roof.

I got the chance to work with Dominique and she was extremely friendly and informative and made the process seamless! You don’t get service like this often!

Mostly positive, but I did have a little issue at the end of it all, when it counts the most, becasue I know that their interest in me is about to vanish.

So the job started in the hot month of July. The roofers showed up on time/date promised. They started, but got derailed because one guy got stung by a bee. He left and took one or two guys with him. That slowed everything down dramatically. The foreman had already left so this wasn't dealt with until the end of the first evening. In the meantime I was doing everthing I could to eliviate the heat problem by purchasing them several rounds of ice, Gator-aid and Red Bull.

The job went into day two, with the smaller crew. Then came the need for a (ONE) piece of plywood, one! The office called to tell me that that was going to increase the bill by $75. Mmmm? Mind you that this total job was $22K. You'd think one board would be brought onsight for a quick fix where ever needed. Nope! About half the board was eventually used. Then, close to dusk, the foreman asks me if I can run to Lowes and get 6 ridge vents becasue they were short and were trying to finish the job that night, on day two. I did and they didn't.

They were back on day 3. When I asked the BRC rep if I could be reimbursed for my efforts in keeping the job moving along, see all above, he agreed. At the end of the day they refunded me $25, after letting the plywood pay for the ridge vents that I bought. Geez.

In summary,
1. They're very friendly and polite until the work is complete. Keep that in mind.
2. They're good at helping with insurance issues.
3. My experience with the roofers was just a bad set of circumstances with the heat and bees.
4. I gave them 4 stars (not 5) for the nickle-n-dime job they did refunding me for the extra materials (ice, drinks, plywood and vents). I should have been no where near dealing with that.

Would I use them again? I'm not sure. Their help with the insurance was invaluable. The roofing team, dealing with the heat, bees and material shortage, got things a little funky. There was a little damage, but thats why they tell you to make sure to move anything that is important to you 10-15 feet away from the perimeter of your house.

BCR were very transparent, informative, and respectful throughout the entire process. The work, process, clean up, and time frame was very quick without any hiccups.

After this recent storm, I was concerned about the condition my roof may be in. Lucky Grant Nobles came by and took a look and it turns out it was in pretty decent shape. And he did it free of charge. I would highly recommend him and his services to anyone. One stand up guy.

This company is commission based and you can surely tell it. I got a quote for a roof replacement that I desperately need from a friend of a friend. I got an inspection done by two guys that were very professional. Two days later they came back and did a second inspection. The next few days later 4 people came to my house to give me the quote. I was told they had a price I couldn’t beat. The quote wound up being close to 15 grand for a shingle roof. That it a little high for a shingle roof. Metal roofs start out around that price range. Long story short after the quote I told them I needed time to think about it. They called me a few times to tell me they were ready to go. I told them I had a few things going on and I needed to put it off for a while. They’ve kept calling me almost every other day for a month now. Today I get a voice mail from them saying they had my materials ready(with out my consent) and wanted to know when they could get started AFTER I told them I would have to hold off for a while. Not to mention I haven’t even gotten the financing ready. They are more pushy than a crooked car salesman. I don’t like being pushed around when it comes to big decisions like this. I will be calling after the weekend to cut ties and find somebody else. Not to mention the finance company they use charges outrageous interest!!! Only because of the good customer service from the inspectors I give them 1 star. Fast forward several months and they started bombarding me with calls after I clicked on a few random roofing ads. Apparent the Best Choice likes to use click bait. I filled out a request for a quote from 3 different ads that were disguised to make it look like they were different roofing companies. ALL 3 came back to Best Choice Roofing. I have had to threaten to press charges for phone harassment twice this week. One more time and I will. This company needs to get out of the commission mind set before they get more than they bargained for. I’ve never dealt with anything like this. Even car shopping as stressful as it is isn’t this bad.

Best Choice Roofing is truly the best. They handled everything from bringing to end and dealt with insurance and the communication is exceptional. Logan handled everything and was so nice and professional. Everyone I spoke to was great and once roofing was scheduled, they got the job done so quick and efficient and everything looks great. Couldn’t be happier with their service.

We’ve had a great experience with BCR. Billy handled everything with insurance as far as calling and meeting with the insurance adjuster, etc. He was accommodating to us and our schedule (and having to wait on the insurance check). He was clear about the whole process and immediately would get back when I would have any questions. The crew showed up bright and early this morning and have worked all day. They are not only meticulous about the job but also about the clean up. Definitely would recommend.

Made the entire process from initial inspection, assisting with filing insurance claim, being present when insurance adjuster visited, roof installation and final inspection a worry free experience. The BCR folks were very helpful and courteous. Update: Don't believe it when they say, all you have to pay for is your insurance deductible! Never obtained amendment for almost an extra $500. Knew would have to pay for replacement boards which is $75. Marcus was very personable, professional, kind and courteous. Made the painstakingly process of repairing/replacing entire roof the best possible. Very much so, in the end, still dealing with having to pay almost $500 extra. Definitely a great sales guy.... bahwahawhaaa. Very much so painstakingly painful!!!
