Lowe's Home Improvement - Philadelphia, MS

On May 1, 2025 I was helped again by Iesha and Jak. They were both wonderful as usual! They both go above and beyond for their customers. They are resourceful when there is an item that is hard to locate. They help me find it or find an alternative instead of brushing it off. They care and it shows. They are both an incredible asset for lowes! I live in Jackson and I come all the way to this one because of Iesha and Jak when I have access to many other Lowes.

I love how friendly and upbeat Iesha is everytime I come. On this particular day, Iesha was set to go to lunch, but then she pushed her lunch back just help me out. If this isn’t dedication, I don’t know what is. I truly appreciate her for her efforts!

I hope Lowes recognizes what an asset these two folks are! I will come again soon

Very poor service. In the morning we waited 45 minutes for someone to load 2 huge bags of Rock on to our trailer with a fork lift and 1 hour in the afternoon for 1 huge bag of the same Rock.
Please if you need lawn and garden or landscaping items go somewhere else.

If I could leave zero stars I would. My wife purchased a gas range that was to be picked up in 3 days. She was told by the store manager that her name would be placed on the range and it would be ready for pick up. I stopped by the store to pick it up went to customer service and the woman told me that they didn’t have it and couldn’t get it. They was very rude and unprofessional. I ended up having to go to a store in meridian. I will never spend another penny at Lowe’s expecially the Philadelphia ms store!!!

Recently bought paint from this location, it is our first time painting a bedroom and one lady (I believe her name is jonesha?) she was very very helpful. Knowledgeable and friendly. We really appreciate it!!

This has to be the worst Lowe's in the southeast. The whole store is lacking.
Several products are never there. The list seems to be ever-growing. The employees are either in bad moods and cussing or don't know where they're at. Corporate needs to do a deep dive, and a lot of retraining/ hiring needs to take place. This applies across the whole store from management to all department heads,and even on store stock.

Keep your expectations low, got some real track stars working the floor. Try and get some help and they can really get gone. People’at the service desk are basically ok they just don’t listen. Stood in line for what seemed like an eternity took two tries finally got someone that understood English.

I enjoy coming here. I come very often. Service is good for the most part. Place is cleaned. Not too hot. I love the gardening area choices. Prices are kinda high but is expected. It can be a little hot sometimes. Not always. I like to come here and will continue to shop regularly. Thank you Lowes.

The only reason why it is not a 5 star is because I once had to wait 5 hours to get a freezer.. it was a very very long and unnecessary process buuut in the end.. they gave us a 50% off. So all good, but if they would've been quicker, I would've paid more for that. All good. Nothing is perfect. Still enjoy coming.

Drove to Philadelphia to pick up an online order. My order was originally for Meridian, but I received an email saying they were out of stock. I called the store in Philadelphia and wanted to see if they possible had the items I needed. The person I talked with was super nice and helpful. They told me they had the items I needed and they would change my order from Meridian to Philadelphia. This would be about a forty mile drive, but I needed the items so no big deal. I arrive to Philadelphia and approached the customer service desk where I asked a woman, I think her name was Julie, about my order. Of all the years doing business with Lowe’s, this so called supervisor was one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. There was a mistake made on my order by the associate who helped me over the phone. Julie, or whatever her name was, told me I would not be getting anything today because I placed my order to Pennsylvania. They were showing 6 of my items in stock, but she insisted on canceling my order. I asked her to explain to me what was going on and she walked off. Terrible, unprofessional, and out right rude. Thanks to the other associates watching this I got my items. They saw how I was being treated and went and found the items I needed, changed the mistake with my order, and I was on my way. I guess it’s a huge deal for “ this so called supervisor” to actually do her job. Sorry for your inconvenience Julie and thank you for saving me the trouble of ever approaching you again. If it wasn’t for all the other four employees who were super helpful, I would never buy a thing from Lowe’s again.

I was told that when I purchased a dishwasher that cost over $500.00 I would get a $50.00 discount by the salesperson. After the purchase while going over the receipt I saw that i did not receive the discount. I went back to Lowe’s and spoke with another salesperson in the department and he said that I should have received the discount and didn’t know why I didn’t. He instructed me to go to the service desk and he would join me there. After going through there routine I was told the manager would have to ok it. I waited until they spoke with the manager and he came out and told me there already had discounted the item some on the sticker price and I would have to spend another $500.00 to get the $50.00. That their sales people had missed spoken and that was all he could do . So I was lied to by two of their sales people or the manger .

Associate Parker B. Helped me with the thousands of questions I ask! Not once did he get aggravated or tired of helping me! I’m not the easiest customer sometimes. This dude was helpfu and respectful! Please hire more Parker’s

Was in and out in no time. Didn't have anyone ask if we needed help, especially with us purchasing sheetrock . Other than that was able to locate it and load onto the cart with ease and check out with no problems.

So apparently I got sent to do a review and gave a bad review for the wrong store. I apologize

Fantastic place for finding thr hardware you need we got our washing machine from there and they helped us install it such helpful and happy employees

Giving two stars ONLY BECAUSE OF THE ASSOCIATE AT THE PAINT COUNTER. She deserves 5. But the overall experience of this location as a whole is not even worth 1 star..

Came in the first day stood in flooring department for over 35 min passed by multiple employees as I was waiting for someone to come and help me with the floor I had intentions of getting that day. After being completely overlooked and left to be treated like I was invisible, I left. The staff was more than just not helpful they were rude no one was doing something that was keeping them held up. The store was not busy. In fact hardly any other customers were inside.
I decided that I would do an online order for pick up and just go home. I did exactly that. I was notified my order was ready and that everything was waiting to be picked up by every thing I mean 4 items vinyl sheet flooring, a blade , a tub of glue and a tool for the application of the glue. Very simple and easy to find things I had just seen myself and waited to purchase when I visited the store.

So upon arrival not only am I met with a large number of associates who either chose to completely disregard my request for help or even tell me when I was going to get the order I had already completed online. They could not find it then they were bringing it then there was a problem with the location of it again. So I wait. 2 hours pass I shop around trying to grab a few extra items I needed to finish some things and not by any means a cheap time to try and waste while my order was m.i.a i still spend $356 and wait a bit more getting impatient for the $400 I already have spent that’s not been located or brought up yet. And no associate has any knowledge of what happened or why they cannot provide the products they notified me on being ready for pick up 4 hours prior this point. No one was friendly no one was helpful no one seemed to have anything that was really work or customer service related on their mind. I’ve always used Lowe’s for flooring the associate who was in the flooring department for years never had any hesitation helping me get the right supplies and was always very sweet and helpful. Kellie was her name I believe but it’s been years ago. I’m not sure what happened to this store but it is not at all what it used to be. I didn’t get the nice ladies name from the paint department but she was a sweetheart and she was very attentive and kind. The rest of the staff is really a joke from the experience and customer service received from today. I am very disappointed and sad to see how rude and unprofessional they were two young men who were customers helped us load the truck and no one in the area even bothered trying to offer. I will not do business with this location again.

Only 3 stars because when you know what you want and where it is you are great. However if you need to ask someone a question or need help getting something down you can’t find anyone. My trips to Lowe’s that end up taking to long are always because I needed help and it a long time to find someone. I encourage to go local but I’m Philly’s case you don’t have a lot of options. Everyone once in a while you will find someone who knows something and will help you. More times though, Up are on you own.

Sales staff are always ready to help. It feels good not having to search for someone for assistance. Always knowledgeable...2 thumbs up!

Philadelphia MS Lowe's is the best in the area.. they normally have a fantastic staff working.. helpful and friendly.. I enjoy my visits here .

Satisfying experience. Bought a refrigerator. Got it bought in a timely fashion but had a goood wait getting it outside. Nice sales lady and loaders.Has given no issues. Still satisfied.

Lowes is great have a lot always stuff on sale can order anything always to find what I need people are so nice just love it.

Updating review: What happened to this Lowes??? Workers standing around, not being helpful and blocking where customers are trying to go. Have one person running around making keys, mixing paint, and has key to locked up tools....no one else knows how to use the keys there? And usually, this Lowes is really great. Amazing the change in less than a year. Sad.
