Super 8 by Wyndham Oxford

Positive: "" Negative: The only reason we picked this was because my daughter wanted somewhere with the waffle maker. There was NO breakfast at all at this hotel.

The whole hotel is in a bad condition . Just some examples . Lightcover in bath missing, Matress worn out, all chairs at pool broken, Pool dirty , Toilet in lobby broken, Breakfast not available due to water leak in that room . If possible avoid . It's not worth the high price they charge .

The first room I was given was dirty and had dirty towels all over and a dead spider in the bathtub and the night stand had stuff all over it, the girl at the front desk was wonderful and gave me a new room but the bed was like laying on concrete

I wish half stars were an option… but I’ll round up. Read your 2-3 star reviews… they are about right on par with what I’d rate it with too. Sheets were clean and towels were too. The pillows suck and the mattress is slightly better than sleeping on the floor. I didn’t see any bugs in the room and the floors were cleanish. The tv was so small I couldn’t see it from laying in bed, the stations you do get suck anyways it’s best to just leave it off and play on your phone. The bath rooms was not lit to well making it hard to get ready in the morning. The shower water was hot but it took me what seemed an eternity ti figure out how to turn it on( pull knob on faucet down) first time I’ve ever seen this before. The front desk girl was nice when I got here after driving 5.5 hours that was a plus. I’d like to know why I was charged more than the posted price because I’d only pay around $80-$100 a night not what I ended up paying (it was to much) for what you get. My truck wasn’t broke in to over night so that’s a plus too. Other than that it served it’s purpose, just bring a pillow and a blanket from the house. Pop

I been here since February and I love it I haven't had anything wrong with anything. The staff is very friendly and they help u in anyway they can .don't have to ask for nothing everything u need is in the rooms.

This was a very bad experience I rented a room for 2 nights and I checked out the next morning there where bugs everywhere and the room was very nasty and it had a old towel down on the floor by the bed and it was all mold in the bathroom and more bugs coming out of the lamp too I would not get a room from these people ever again very nasty and uncomfortable

one star for the nice employees. THATS IT. i will never stay here again. the room looks nothing like the photos online. i had to kill multiple roaches and spiders. by far the dirtiest room i have ever stayed in. floors, walls and all surfaces were filthy. i wouldnt dare walk on the floor barefoot- i kept my slides on the entire time, even in the shower. cleaners should be ashamed and fired immediately. room smelled like a mixture of urine and mold. i wouldnt let my dog live in this dump. this place is a disgrace to the entire city of Oxford and needs to be shut down.

We had 2 rooms at the Super 8 for the weekend of the Ole Miss-Georgia game. We were very nervous about staying here due to awful reviews, but the rooms were totally fine! Definitely worn, and in need of a paint job/minor repairs, but the rooms were clean and everything worked (fridge, microwave, shower, etc.). Beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was pretty basic (waffles, cereal, toast, yogurt), but it was complimentary! Location was great! Close to restaurants and shopping. We walked the 1.75 miles to the Grove . Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This hotel is in a great location in Oxford but that's the only positive feedback I have for this hotel. Our room had an external entry and it was not clean when we arrived. The floor and surfaces were visibly dirty. My family kept socks or slides on at all times. We put personal blankets on the surfaces. We had a hard time charging our devices too, because the outlets would not hold basic charge plugs. We hoped to hang out at the hotel room with family but because it was so gross, we opted to spend as little time in our room as possible. Stay here only as a last resort.

I’m sorry to report that our room had been smoked in, and the smell was definitely disturbing. I reported my hubby’s allergies and the staff tried to help (by spraying “glade” in the room which made allergies worse). I had thought that the “Wyndham” name might mean it was a step above a typical Super8 but I was WRONG.

The location is great - tons of restaurants, shops and even a Walmart all within walking distance. (Just bear in mind, these are strip malls and along a major road - not so much a "downtown" type of area.)

Staff were super friendly when I interacted with them and needed help. Kuddos to them! Internet also worked great.

The room however was rather dirty - the floor and drawers were barely swept/cleaned. The fridge needed a good clean too (though I appreciated they had one.) Bed was so-so, and blankets were very old, worn, and had holes in them. Pillows were rather uncomfortable.

If this hotel put more effort into cleaning the rooms and updating the furniture, this could really be a great place to stay.

this was the filthiest place we have ever stayed. The sheets were stained. The blankets were stained. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. There was mold on the front of the mini fridge. There was no tray in the microwave, which was filled with remnants of old food. There was no door on the bathroom. Literally, no door. We were a family of four. There is mold and filth, all along the floor corners and tub. The deadbolt on the inside of the door… Half of it was missing.

Gross dirty uninhabitable room . Smelled like old milk, bed frame was metal and just a mattress cover on frame not a mattress sheets weren't changed when we arrived . Dirty towel on the bathroom hook that was used . Spray nozzle left on dresser , trash in corner of room coke cans , strawberry basket and empty chip bag in corner , lights were out in closet and over bathroom sink , chairs were broken missing screws , shower head and nozzle were full if mold , floor was fulk of sand. Gross gross gross doesn't deserve 1 star

Well I had to give a 1 star due not having the option of a BIG ZERO STAR this place it is not a hotel people should be allowed to stay at a place with bugs, horrible smell bathtub smells like pee no towel service and they claim to have breakfast included . But the very first morning we attended to have breakfast at maybe 8:00 to 8:30am. It was all gone. Not even coffee all gone in every sense of the word. Never again big mistake and Priceline should know better by now . Not to send customers to this dump.

The environment was not child, friendly me, and were hanging all around the apartment like they were waiting on hookers. It was just an emergency and cheap cheap. It look like a little Mexico. They were all hanging out on the balcony drinking beers. I had two young ladies that didn’t get to enjoy the pool because they was slobbing at the mouth looking at them but like I said, I was looking for something cheap and it was an emergency and that’s the only time I go back if I’m looking for something cheap and emergency but it’s over we got through it and it

Other than the mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and the bed mattress being so flat that you could feel the frame underneath, it was an okay stay.

Everything was fine until I took my shoes off - floors were gritty and dirty ||The bottom of the bathtub appeared not scrubbed for a long time - heavy dirt with a twinge of white||If the floors and bathtub were clean I would recommend- however I can't recommend due to the above

Positive: It was cheap. Negative: The amenities that were listed, we?re not functional. I was having issues with the Wi-Fi. The blow dryer didn?t work at all, but there was one that was mounted on the wall. And finally, the refrigerator wouldn?t stay cold.

Me and my family we never get a room here anymore very nasty room roaches and mold in the tub..And the room smells bad..People outside trying to fight late at night very scary place to stay with your family at…The owner are very ghetto with the bad attitude..The breakfast bad in roaches crawling in there..The only reason why we stay there because we was there for championships game 4 hrs from home and they didn’t have any other rooms available.. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE ANYMORE ME AND MY FAMILY NASTY HOTEL NEED MY MONEY BACK NO STARS

Disgusting they have roaches!!!! You will see them crawling on the walls. The only reason we booked at a super 8 was because it was the only hotel available in Oxford. So we drove 30 mins to a nice hotel. These rooms are outdated, they stink of smoke. We ran out of that room and got our money back. This place needs condemed!!!

Just got back from an awful stay at this place and will never go back. The room was extremely dirty - the floor and all the surfaces and the furniture was old and badly needed replaced. The bedspread and sheets had stains and also needed replaced. Most of the plug ins didn’t work, and there were none near the desk. No USB ports on the lamps to easily charge things like most hotels have. Very shady characters around this hotel, including one sitting on the sidewalk by my car at night. It was extremely noisy as well. This hotel should be completely overhauled or closed.

The carpet in my room was soaking wet and the neighbors were super loud. Slamming doors all night and then blaring music at 6am.

Didn't feel fully safe at night. My door did not have a lock either so I placed a chair under the door handle. Wouldn't stay again most likely.
