Lowe's Home Improvement - Athens, TN

I'm from Michigan and we're down here on vacation visiting family and these people who work here were super helpful and extremely friendly!!!!! A so very pleasant experience!!!!!!!

Love this store. Employees are very friendly especially JILL she is always very helpful and super friendly and knowledgeable!! All Employees should be like her! Definitely will be back soon!

Since moving to town this has been my go-to spot for all my home maintenance and/or improvement needs. I have honestly spent an absurd amount (for me) in this store on my new house. Everyone is always friendly and helpful and you can't beat the prices for most of the things. Used to shop at the other store when I lived in Cleveland but this one has changed my mind on going in here. Maybe the one I used to go to just wasn't very good ‍♂️.

It's ok for the only big box hardware store in town. They don't seem to have as much of a selection as I usually find in hd

I used the Lowe's app to look for the product I wanted to purchase. It told me exactly what aisle and bay number it was in. I went there, and found exactly what I was looking for.

Checkout was fast and easy.

I am always able to find what I am looking for while shopping here. There is always someone available to help if needed.

This store treats there costumers like trash talking down to them like there are there kids whoever the lady manager is in costumer service needs fired most unprofessional manager I’ve ever meet in my life Lowe’s drop the bomb with this one just a fyi the Vanderbilt family and business will be dropping all Lowe’s contracts like a hot potato first thing Monday morning this store deserves the award for most pathetic store in East Tennessee congratulations

I love Athens Lowes. Cathy, Carl, Jonathan, Damian, Croft and Frank are AWESOME! The staff and selections are great. My only complaint is the short gray haired lady in flooring. She is so rude we almost spent our 5k at Home Depot. Avoid her if you can.

The pro desk is a joke. They won’t do phone sales for some people but others they do! I told the guy I have a phone sale he said we don’t do that here. I said yes you do I did it yesterday the day before that and the day before that! He said no she will get you ( the elderly lady who had about 10 people in her line already) I said I’m okkk. Well after I finally made it to the register wouldn’t you know a man walked up to the same guy I asked to help me and he did the phone sales for him! Yes I did say something to him he looked at me and said oh I guess I didn’t hear you. I said oh yeah u heard me enough to tell me you didn’t do phone sales at the pro desk to go to the elderly lady next to you!!! What a joke !! They have a line wrapped around store while two guys sit on their chair doing nothing! Bryant and Gio both just sitting there talking to each other! They kept sending people to this one elderly lady who had a line wrapped down the wood section. Poor thing I felt bad for her! On top of that I’m a women had three men watch me load my materials (drywall and wood) no one offered to help me! This store is insane! I can see why it takes at least an hour to check out! Some do their job others nope!!!! They make you leave one star to leave a review but honestly I wouldn’t give them any! And by the way I just went back in to buy something I forgot wouldn’t you know the same guy at the pro desk who told me they didn’t do phone sales was actually doing his job and doing a phone sale! Crazy huh!?!? I will say this I own a construction company and I spend thousands of dollars weekly at Lowe’s I am about to take my business somewhere else.
Today is Friday I made the mistake of going back to Lowe’s today to get materials well today I called the manager! I’m done with this store!!!! I went to the register that they told me to go to yesterday and wouldn’t you know today they don’t do phone sales Jayson laughed at me told me he don’t do phone sales told me to go to the elderly lady that had 6 people in her line to do a phone sale!! And walked off laughing at me!!! The pro desk and register 2 had no people in it!! This store is pathetic I will never use this store again!!!!!!! You need to have a class on customer service for your employees!!! They are rude and unprofessional! There was literally 4 of employees sitting there today at the pro desk three talking one on phone!!! I did call the manager today! While I was in line!!!!! Never again!

Don't ever get anything delivered from THESE SCAM artists. Pick a day we will call for a delivery window of 4 hours. Well 10:00pm delivery day the driver calls and said he can't make it. I called the next day, customer service said "sorry we can't deliver " so I asked when can you. They told me next week. Now this will be three days I've taken off of work. There is nothing no supervisor or customer service can do. I can not leave a 0 star so they get a 1. Home depot is the same thing. Go shop and buy from the not the box store appliance store.

This place is our whole family's go to place for anything to do with home improvement or gardening. You will never be disappointed with this store!

It's a lowes. Had to wait awhile to get some help and Noone went out of their way to talk to me but usually they do.

Horrible experience with Lowe's.com and my delivery of my new dryer. Waiting over a month for my delivery. First time they called 20 minutes before the last possible moment to tell me they were not going to make it. I waited 4 hours for them to deliver it.

Second attempt. Literally left it on my front porch after paying for inside delivery and haul away for the old one.

Customer service could "Apologize" and offered nothing other than "Someone" will call you in 24 hours.

Hope my dryer doesn't get stolen over night.

If I could leave, no stars, I would because as a store, and a company you have failed. I will be writing and calling headquarters to investigate the district manager and the management team for the Chattanooga area. It’s not the first time an order from this location has arrived messed up. As a professional I’m left to explain to the customer. No more, I would rather order from anywhere else.

I went in just to look for some clearance plants. They did have quite a few. But I had no idea the percentage off on them because there was no sign. Only said clearance. So I didn't get anything. Nothing really that I was actually even looking for. Which I don't even know what I was even looking for. Just looking for good deals on some house plants that I really don't need.

Summer time projects a lot easier to do when you can find practically everything you need at Lowe's for landscaping and most everything else. A picture is worth a thousand words so here are just a few of the things you can find for improving your street appeal and for backyard living. Plenty of free parking and reserved parking spaces closer to the store when you have a lot to load or be loaded for you.
