The staff is always friendly and nice. They are all very knowledgeable which makes it great to call in and ask questions and they be able to answer. Brock and Jason were great. Looked at the truck one day. Brock and Jason both communicated frequently as they prepped the truck. Came back a couple days later as agreed. Paperwork was ready. Just a few signatures and write the check. I truly hate dealerships, but they were impressive. Would highly recommend.

Truly disappointed in this group as a a whole. We did not have our vehicle more than a week and we are looking at a bad motor and eventually having to replace it for thousands more dollars. There is no way this group did not know of the preexisting condition. They sat with us and talked about our family. I sat there 7 months pregnant and talked about our soon to be baby and they sold us a vehicle that had obvious issues. How they can sleep at night I have no idea. I would not recommend buying a vehicle from this dealer. If you buy something from them it’s at your own risk. Learned it the hard way. Truly disappointed.

This is a change of a previous review. I gave 5 stars because everything was fine at the time. I bought a 2018 Escape in March or April of this year. Everyone was extremely nice, but just a few months after the purchase the known issue of coolant leaking into the cylinders of the 1.5 Ecoboost reared its ugly head. The local Ford dealer says it's a 15k fix. This is a huge safety concern because it has also been known to start fires. I'm scared to let my daughter drive the car at all.

The dealership was able to troubleshoot, update software, fixing brake malfunction along with subsequent degraded global power distribution and contact me before 11am that my 2024 Blazer EV was fixed and ready to be picked up. Less than three hours is pretty good for such a major warranty malfunction.

I brought my car in due to issues with the shifter not working properly. After doing some research, I discovered this has been a widespread problem across many GM models for the past six years. Despite that, GM continues to use the same faulty parts and refuses to issue a recall. I’ve also experienced problems with the cruise control—it won’t reset after using the brake—which is another common issue GM has failed to address.

The dealership was clearly not happy that I came in as an informed customer. When I asked for a trade-in value, they lowballed me, and the lease offer they presented for a replacement vehicle was terrible. I’ve purchased several cars from this dealership over the years, but this experience was the final straw. I ended up trading the car for a Honda the very same day, and I will never buy another GM vehicle again.

This was my first car buying experience, but it was pretty easy to do thanks to Rex. He drove the car down to my house and let me test it out a bit to get familiar with it. Then, we went back and he explained the whole process in a way easy enough for my car lack of knowledge to get it and i got the car the same day i saw it.

While I did not buy my car here, my boyfriend and I had a very pleasant experience dealing with their service department. After being discouraged by the Twin City service department for a major fix on my vehicle, we called Long who immediately told us it was under warranty and we just needed to bring it in. My boyfriend knows cars, and they were transparent with him and gave him all the information he wanted throughout the process. They kept us updated and made sure I had a rental throughout the entire time my car was in their shop. While I can't say much about their sales team, their service department is top notch!

I thought my nephew a car there and within a month was having problems.. I called multiply times and left messages no one replied back.. now it won’t even start and they want me pay for a tow truck to bring it in and 170 dollars for diagnostics never will I buy from there again..

Worst experience of my life!! It started out great with Jeremiah as my salesman. He is awesome. From there down the drain. Sales manager lied to my face at least 2 times. I drove car home and found that my cruise control didn't work to later find out many things didn't work. Told salesman right away. Took car back, they couldn't find what was wrong... really! Waited 3 weeks for update and nothing. Called service and left message... no return call. At that point was feed up and called service manager. She knew nothing about my issues. Told her everything from start to finish. Bottom line is that I will be taking my car elsewhere for sevice to someone that cares and can actually fix my car!!! I have never driven off a lot with a new car with any issues like this. Bad bad customer service in all areas except Jeremiah.

Update...
Once again, three things are still not working. Go figure. This service was even worse. Watch your back!! "Why is the inside of my car all muddy? Respond: "I don't know, we didn't even drive it". Really, how did you check to see if cruise was working. Plus she said they would wash the car for me... that didn't happen either. Watch out for Jeremiah too!! Totally changed his attitude. Never again!!!!!

I feel that no one in your dealership has one care about my truck. I brought my truck in for a transmission recall and my truck has never been the same. Immediately after the software download the coolant control valve had to be replaced. The part was on back order and the service Tech said that it could be months before they get one. I made a call to my contact in Michigan where I bought my truck and he sent you a valve. Your tech changed the valve and returned my truck. I have had my truck back for one week and I have driven it once to Cleveland to go to church the the next day I took my dogs to the local park and the engine light is back on and the motor is heating up. I have my truck back in your dealership and they give me zero confidence in your competencies to fix it properly. When I asked to speak to the diesel technician, the service tech told me that they are too busy. As a gm retired operations manager I am totally embarrassed and disappointed in your dealership.

This was my first time visiting Long Chevrolet for service. The young lady that booked the appointment over the phone for me was pleasant & helpful in telling me where to go. But when my son and I walked in to the service counter, there were three employees behind the desk. A middle-aged lady, a young lady, and a man. None of them looked up at me. None of them said hello or how can we help you. After a long minute or two of standing there, wondering if I was in the right place, and very much feeling that I was an interruption to the employees, the middle-aged lady told the young lady to “get these folks checked in”, still without looking at me or saying hello. Without any direction or greeting, I took a few steps to the center of the room where the young lady was sitting. She still did not say hello, good morning, welcome to Long Chevrolet or even smile. She simply asked for my last name. She asked for the key, and then told me they would get to my service as soon as they could. I had to ask if someone would call me because we had planned to go walk outside and then across the street to get something to eat. She said yes someone would call me. She didn’t point me to the service waiting area or let me know that I would be receiving an email that would need my review and signature. That came as a surprise while I was sharing a meal next-door with my son. I signed the estimate and returned it by email. We finished our meal and came back to the service desk to ask where there might be a service waiting area….. Again, we stood there for a long minute or two being completely ignored. I finally noticed a sign that pointed to the parts department with an arrow. So we decided to walk through it and that’s when I noticed a nice sitting area with a TV. We were impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of this area and appreciate it being available. We also appreciated not having to wait very long. We were only in the waiting area maybe 10 minutes when a different woman walked through and called our last name. She was a little more pleasant, but still not what I would call warm or welcoming. I signed the documents and she gave me the key and we left.
How you make a customer feel is one of the foundations of a successful business. Eye contact and acknowledgment are extremely simple and go a long way to building a relationship with the customers who will support your business.

It has took me awhile to revise this:Dear readers you must be very careful when giving your trust to a company that will abuse it. Let’s start with my 2012 impala that had an engine light on. I took it in and they said it was fixed and I needed the car to drive to the east coast. Just outside of Knoxville the engine light came back on. I called long enroute to va beach and informed them it was back on. I brought it back a they said the they had broken a sensor prior to this but fixed it. I drove away only to have the engine light come back on which they took it back an informed me the sensor was bad and I ended up paying for the sensor. I let it go.my wife and I returned several months later to trade in our 2022 Silverado in. Upon filling the contract out I found out that I had paid for all the oil changes that were supposed to to be free an other items that were also on the prior contract.Then 6 months after buying the new truck I found out through accountants that they had withheld 3800 dollars of the down payment an never told me.i was a very loyal customer for the whole time since they took it over from Ledford. My payment is higher because of them and I am paying 800 dollars more to interest.my neighbors beware of this dealership. If you have bought a vehicle check your paperwork.trust freely given is often not rewarded but you are penalized.
