If I bought my stuff on Amazon, I wouldn't have to deal with their 2 day return policy. Buy on Amazon. It should be largely printed on the website, the product, and when you receive it, big letters, so people know they have 2 days to check everything and return it. What happened to 30 days and why is it 3 months for craftsman and 2 days for everything else. Like they punish you for not buying the brand they want! Damn

Checked out in the Professional Department and I'm sorry but we've spent over 20K at Lowes and I refuse to scan my own items.

I love this Lowe's. It is so much better than the one in Fairlawn. The manager here, Brian Tickle, is a great guy and the best manager ever.

A young fellow (new employee?) at the checkout. I bought 5 buckets with lids. I carefully stacked the bucks in each other then curved the lids in so I had 1 handfuls of buckets. The clerk had to disassemble the mess to read each code. (1 code X's 5 would work). As I exited the store, the buckets deserted me. 1 rolled out in front of a car and stopped.
I kicked the bucket...at Lowes.

We are redoing our bathroom. Worked with AJ at the pro desk. She was a huge help and very patient with our requests. Im sure they have a lot of great team members at the desk but for every project we do , we will be requesting AJ

I love me some Lowe's, y'all! The staff here are very insightful and helpful, if they can't help you, they'll get the next best person who can.. prices are decent, and itlf there's any wear/tear of an item, they discount it for you or go and fetch you another if there is any left.. love, love, love the tools, and lumber / building supplies.. my go-to for all things self and / or my customer's project needs and services!

I am done shopping at this store! All they do is keep jacking me around with my siding order!!!!!!! It was promised to be delivered Monday so I took off work and driving 6 hours to work on our house. I get an email now stating it's being delivered Tuesday. I am tired of being screwed and lied to!!!!!!!

I went in yesterday bought a new gas range to replace my existing one. Bought protection plan, paid for delivery and installation and to haul the old one off. After waiting around the house half the day waiting for this to be delivered, the guys arrive and tell me "we don't remove or install gas ranges." Called the store and get told "oh no, the installers don't install gas ranges."

Thanks, that is very helpful. You would think one of the two people I dealt with when purchasing and scheduling the install would possibly have mentioned that little tidbit. One of them was a woman named Sydney Smith and the other was a guy who's name I don't recall that had glasses and tattoos. When I called the store, they were of zero help other than telling me "sorry."

Lowes is batting 0/3 with employee competence on this one transaction. I told them not to even take it off the truck and I will be getting a refund. I refuse to do business with companies that are this crappy to deal with.

Do not use Lowes delivery. I received multiple emails and texts about the delivery time . Scheduled time was 8:30am to 12:30 pm . Day of delivery I received a text saying 8:00am to 8:00pm .They showed up at 1:30pm .I paid for delivery and installation but they said because the shutoff was under the house they couldn’t do it. Maybe they should have ran that by me before they sent my refrigerator. The people they use are contractors in rented trucks not Lowes employees. I’m done with Lowes

I certainly wish I could remember the gentleman's name. He usually works in plumbing. But on this day he helped in electrical/light bulbs.
He helped us look for at least 20mins for a bulb and realized they were all out and new would be in Wednesday. Returned to store Wednesday and said employees saw us and knew right away what we were there for, stopped what he was doing and led us directly to the bulb we needed.
On scale of one to ten, this gentleman gets a 10++++
Thanks Lowes!!!!

This is the first worst home improvement store in our area. They are extremely rude and they gotten rid of all there knowledgeable associates and replaced them with individuals who care nothing about the trades. Everyday I got this store I’m met with no help and when I do get someone that is supposedly the area attendant they say idk and try to google my answer or they say i don’t know and they say there going to find someone for me and they never return. This store was a good store but that was about 10 years ago and it had done nothing but gone down since then.

This Lowe's has the most amazing people. They are kind, do their best to help customers, and care about the experience. The managers here genuinely do their best to take care of customers and associates, and they succeed. Moving away means I can't visit this store anymore, but I will miss it. It really is a gem.

Chances are very high if you need it they have it.. and it will be fairly priced... not cheap, but fair & with a 10% veterans discount... often hard to beat even with Amazon! But my favorite thing about this Lowe's are the wonderfully helpful & polite youngsters they hire AND the knowledgeable "oldsters" ... retired plumbers, electricians...

Can't believe prices for plumbing electrical and lumber etc. Spent 80 dollars just to repair a leaky faucet for a customer. I don't know about other contractors but give a customer a bill for over $150 to fix a leaky sink is getting outta hand. People on fixed income just don't have this kind of money.

Last time I will use contractor sales until Lowes gets qualified and knowledgeable employees to work contractor sales Deliveries are weeks late on deck packages 4 weeks to be exact some not all contractor sales employees have a bad attitude and say publicly how much they hate there job and being there at work while the manager of contractor sales stands there and doesn't do or say anything I will be doing business with Home Depot and other Lowes stores until this problem is corrected I don't like being told go ahead and go to another store we don't care I'm done with Lowes in Fairlawn Va

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
