I would give this place zero stars if I could. First, we placed our order in August and it took 3 months for the roof to be placed. However, during the waiting period we were called multiple times with misinformation about our roof. Specifically, we were told our roof was delayed and then the next day was delivered; once the materials were dropped in our driveway, they sat there for a couple of weeks before installed. Then the icing on the cake, the wrong roof was installed on our home which explains why the material for our roof miraculously appeared right after being told it was delayed (again) - it was the wrong roof! The top part of picture is what we ordered, the bottom is what we got!! Completely contrasted with our brick color and we are stuck with it!!
After trying to resolve the fiasco in a civil manner, we agreed that we would not have to pay our deductible or any other money out of pocket, only the second insurance check. Eric Fuery, regional manager, told me personally zero out of pocket for us and furthermore never once stated that should the insurance company delay the check we would have to pay out of pocket because I never would have agreed to it. Additionally, had we made BCR completely redo the roof that they messed up, they would have been out a lot more cost. For reasons outside of our control, the insurance company delayed sending us the check and never once in any sort of way did BCR tell us that they would put a lien on our house revoke our warranty due to late payment. So, we got stuck with the wrong roof and because the insurance company delayed sending us the check, we then had to deal with harassment from BCR for payment and further collection procedures. This is how BCR does business- they mess up and then harass you, unapologetically. Mr Fuery spoke with me again after we were advised that our warranty had been revoked; he advised that he will right the situation and apologized, but now ignores and did nothing to stop the harassment of corporate office. He knew the agreement and he did nothing; he cannot be trusted at his word. We went ahead and paid the balance to prevent further harassment from BCR, but I will never recommend this place to anyone. They messed up our roof and their entire practice is shady, at best. My advice - go somewhere else!!
UPDATE: This IS BCR standard! The second insurance check has been paid and their response is a lie! They have NOT tried to correct anything! Eric Fuery literally called me and told me he would further discount the balance owed by second insurance check, to please give him 24 hours, I got silence. Except from his corporate office that called me at work and told me they would file suit on us for the money because that was money “owed”. The corporate AR’s name was Renae Sims. When I advised that I was at work, she responded “I don’t care”, believe it they do not. Even when they mess up and you do the civil thing to resolve the matter, they DO NOT CARE. The when I said I am stuck with a roof I did not want on my house and now you have revoked my warranty and put lien on my house due to delay in insurance her exact words “well you have a roof don’t you”.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They will mess up, delay and make unfulfilled promises. Take heed to the warning on the reviews!!
