These guys are fabulous! They arrive when they say they will, they finish when they say they will , they communicate when they say they will. What more could you possibly ask? Oh! And, they also did a tremendous job with matching the roof that they were replacing to the existing roof of our 1840 historic home. When they were finished, you would’ve never known that they’d been here because they took such care in cleaning up afterwards. I would highly recommend Abram’s to anyone who were to ask for a suggestion for a roofing company.

Abrams Roofing was great to work with and provided good updates with scheduling. I was impressed the care the workers took with our new driveway. The cleanup each day was so thorough I could not tell they had been on our property.

I’ve had a mixed experience with Abrams. The work was extremely slow, communication was non-existent, and I had to double-check everything. However, the final product was reasonably well done, and there aren't many other metal roofing options in the area.

For this project, I opted for a full metal roof, gutters, and guards. The entire process took about 10 months: 5 months of waiting due to lead time, followed by 5 months of sporadic work.

During that time, I was left with water damage throughout the house (underlayment problems), a huge mess with the insulation where sections of the old roof was kicked into the attic, improperly installed gutters (slope, overhang issues, leaking, and general fitment), and improperly sized & non-fitting guards.

[NOTE: A credit was issued on the account for the water damage but it's still additional work that needed to be dealt with.]

To Abrams' credit, they did come out to make some repairs. But in the end, it was easier to accept “good enough” and conclude our business than to keep chasing them about it. It would have been better to have the job done right from the start rather than relying on patchwork fixes, but that ship has sailed.

Ultimately, they're not a company I would trust to do the job without strict oversight. If you have the time to double check everything, chase them around on repairs, and ultimately do a bit of the heavy lifting yourself, I guess they're an option but that really shouldn't be necessary.

For me, after 5 months of chasing them around, I eventually gave up and opted to handle the remaining problems myself.

Abrams Roofing took down a disheveled chimney for me and then fabricated a metal patch to cover the ensuing hole. The work that was done was professional and efficient. Earl Bishop, Abrams owner, was a pleasure to work with. He was thoughtful, fair, and seemed genuinely interested in my concerns.

Recently, I contacted Abrams Roofing & Sheet Metal (Abrams) surrounding storm damage sustained to the roof and guttering of my 92 year old Mother's Home in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.

When first contacting Abram's I was greeted by Company Manager Lisa Elliott and had the opportunity to speak as well with the Company's President Earl Bishop both of whom I found incredibly cordial and professional. Speaking to Mr. Bishop I immediately discerned that he was a caring man and obviously long experienced having empathy for those suffering peril and loss by incidents of storm damage. In my conversation with Mr. Bishop he stated to me that while his Company had some 40 jobs ahead of us that he nonetheless would make every effort to work us into the schedule asap. Hearing this from Mr. Bishop did not surprise me as in my research I had found that that Abrams Roofing & Sheet Metal was in fact legendary in the industry known for delivering a high quality product with a priority emphasis on customer satisfaction. Further, I experienced first hand that Abrams was excellent in their follow through with an admirably disciplined work ethic that I found exemplary. Further, I discovered too that Mr. Bishop is part of a military family that is Abrams and subsequently at its very core a disciplined mindset. Specifically, Company Founder Mr. Victor Abrams is a retired US Marine Corp Sergeant and Mr. Bishop as well a retired Sergeant serving the US Navy. Accordingly and in a workman like manner, Abrams replaced the guttering across the entire front of My Mother's Home and did so with unparalleled craftsmanship. When they were through with the job you would have never known they were even there as the work site was exited broom clean. What's more, upon completion, they sent to my Mother a lovely Christmas Card and thanking her for the opportunity to perform the work. When I visited my Mother afterwards she showed me the card and made the single statement, "Now that's Class". Appealingly, I took the liberty to herein quote the adage Mr. Bishop uses in closing his business letter as follows:

"Do not convince your mind that it is right
When in your heart you know it’s wrong"

Several years ago Abrams replaced our gutters and put on a gutter cover; after the wind storm in March we couldn’t get a response from the roofer who did our roof years ago. Abrams set up an appointment and did the repair. We have been happy with our interactions.

Perfection in every way! First contact was with Kim (owner of company) who scheduled appointment for inspection by Earl Bishop (president). Earl was precisely on time, very polite and efficient. Within a day I got estimate via email from Lisa (in the office). Work involved removal of 2 layers of old shingles, and the crew accomplished this massive task and cleanup quickly and carefully! Communication with Kim and Lisa in the office was very pleasant and efficient, as well as contact with Earl, who always provided reassurance regarding my questions, and professional information about materials and work-related details. We had communication difficulties at the beginning and the owner personally apologized then went above and beyond to make everything right. I’ve never received such a sincere and personal touch. I’m thrilled with the install and confident my gutters will last for the next decade. This is why I shop local. I was very pleased with the responsiveness one morning recently when some shingles blew off my roof. They came out within 1 - 2 hours of me calling, to inspect, then someone else came out and repaired my issue a couple of hours after that.
I recommend them for their quick response and professionalism. The office staff, any time I've dealt with them, have been very courteous and kind. I thought the charge was extremely reasonable.

Abrams roofing really showed up! Josh was professional and informative, preparing us for what to expect and exceeding expectations. The job was done WAY early and neighbors have come over and complimented the new roof already! Abrams replaced my entire roof, gutters, and downspouts on our 4 month old home after an epic hail storm in 2012. We were so impressed with their service, both before and after the job was completed. I will never use another roofing company. Best roofing company in the Greater Louisville area. I am a Realtor and I consistently recommend Abrams.

I am definitely one who does my research before any project and I and my wife have been very pleased with Abrams. We had gutters put in and Josh was extremely helpful. We ended with a better product, color, and size that I had planned and also got gutter guards...and was still within my budget. Installation guys were also great. Would definitely recommend.

Abrams did solid work on our roof 10 years ago, including adding downspouts for water runoff. We were concerned after the 2018 summer hailstorm, but their recent inspection showed zero damage. We would definitely recommend!

Due to recent high winds we knew we had some shingles missing, but were unsure to the extent of damage. I contacted Abrams and within the next day they had someone at our house. Fortunately for us we only needed to have the missing shingles replaced; however due to rain in the forecast, they patched what we had missing until permanent repairs were made. Permanent repairs have also been made. Extremely pleased with their responsiveness and their service.
